Aiden turned to Melyssa. "I guess that's one way to put it," he said. "But some of them... Well... I feel outranked and out of place."
He sighed and looked down at his desk. "I've been hearing them talk," he said silently. "One of them claims he's a zombie and another one said their previous job was guiding souls into the other world. And the other one is a caffeine addict, as it seems. Oh, I'm definitely going to die before the semester is over..."
He placed his face on the desk and pushed his head down with his hands from the back of his head. He let out a small cough and a small bolt of lightning ran through his body, making him let out a loud, distrupting cry of pain and jump in his seat. He fell back, hitting his head to the table behind him and fell on the ground, groaning.
Adam jumped at the loud noise near him, after a quick survey he saw someone behind him lying on the ground. Adam clambered over the table and squeezed past a couple of students. After several apologies and helping the student back into his chair, Adam asked "Are you ok?"
He quickly turned to the student next to the one who fell over, "What happened?" He asked.

[[Uh. Aiden is in front of us. Not behind us.]]
"I over heard that, lil guy." Casey laughed peering over the desk down onto the boy who literally shocked himself. "About me being a caffeine addict that is. I'm not really one. I just think it would have been wiser for me to have gotten more coffee in my system, is all. You alright, boy?" Casey looked down with concern and amusement, moving her fingers in a small pattern. A small platform appeared beneath the boy, propping him up to a seated position against the desk Casey was leaning on, still laughing all the while. "Geez, you've got no mastery over your powers, do you?"
[[Also please read my posts, I've taken measures so that everyone would know where anyone is. If it's really that hard, check the OOC thread. I've made a terrible but understandable diagram of positions. It's not that hard to follow.]]
((Sorry, fixed now. I thought Aiden was behind us by the orientation of your diagram, but it was my mistake. Sorry about that))
"Should I try and find a teacher or someone? He might be hurt." Adam asked the students around him, then turned to face the girl next to him. "What is his name?"
Adam was concerned as to if this student needed any help, but he didn't know where the nurse's office was or where any of the teachers were.
He grumbled. "Y-yeah, I'm fine," he said. A small jolt of lightning hit the people near him. He rubbed the top of his head. "Thanks..." His voice faded away as he flinched again. He got up and put the chair back up. He sat down, his cheeks red.
"Don't worry-"Melyssa had started consloing Aiden but was caught mid sentence when he coughed and shocked himself. Melyssa was a bit stunned at what just happened. Well, he didn't seemed to confident about his power earlier today. I guess he really did need a bit more practice. She thought slowly coming back to her situation she noticed that another boy had come to help asking a few questions. Thankfully though Aiden had gotten up and responded by himself, even if he did end up giving them a little shock. "You sure you're ok? You don't want to go to the nurses office or anything? Breathing ok and no bleeding?" she asked him concerned.
"Y-yeah, I'm good," he said. "That happens from time to time.. "
He heard the voice of one of the students who had helped him. "H-hi, nice to meet you. My name's Aiden."
"Uh... Thanks," Aiden responded, glancing at his own clothes. How the hell did they hear me? He heaved a sigh and looked down, staring at his palms. At least I'll learn something worthwhile here... He turned and heaved a sigh. He whispered to himself. "I'm screwed..."

"Acoustics, dear Aiden," Cas smiles, pausing. "The room is designed to carry voices from the podium all the way to the back. It should be obvious where sounds tend to go in this case, right?" He laughed once more, fiddling with a bunch of pens, spinning them around. "Worry not, you're free to go soon. I've a feeling that the orientation will begin soon." Twisting his head a little to look at the girl beside Aiden, he called, "Hey there, what's your name, girl? I don't believe you've introduced yourself." Pausing, he scratched his head.
Sighing, Casey clucked her tongue at herself. "I just recalled, neither have I. Well then, Mr. Tesla, the name's Casey. It's a pleasure to watch you dance there." Smiling mischievously, she continued, "Now, I really wouldn't mind if you had a duet with White over there, since you both are kind of eager showing off your powers." Her gaze softening, she added, "I wouldn't mind demonstrating myself, if you'd want to see."

"I wasn't... showing..." His voice faded away again and he looked down. I already hate this place... He had a sad and pathetic expression on his face. What am I even doing here? If the demons don't kill me, the other students might...
He looked like he was struggling. Calm down... It's just the first day.
White kinda butted into the conversation, "I wasn't really eager, so to say," he said, "I just was doing what I was told. Supply and demand. Don't think I used that phrase right." he gave a little chuckle, "Besides, if that lighting hits somebody, it could kill somebody. Don't want that happening. What your name again? Wasn't really listening."
((Sorry for any delays recently, I've been having some exams. Should be busy for around two more days, and I'll be able to RP more as usual again.))
Chayse
He was extremely bored now, and had noticed that the classroom had quickly filled up with new guys. Most of the group appeared to be surrounding the girl with that large sword, and seemed to be talking to each other. He was pretty much just at the right edge of the group, around a few tables away from the quiet girl. Even he could hear their conversation from the end of this room. Chayse turned towards Beo, smiling towards him and already thinking of pranking them. The wolf simply growled towards him, urging him not to do anything stupid... at least for now.
Well, as he didn't like boredom and was an attention seeker, he stood up and walked towards the group, smiling as Beo nodded and followed behind him loyally. Chayse approached them and simply talked towards them, smirking playfully as he did so. Well, he liked to make new friends, it was just part of his personality. Beo simply sat beside him on the ground, the wolf was noticeable though, as it seemed to examine the crowd of students.
"You guys new here too? The name's Chayse, nice to meet you all!", as he said that, he sat on a table next to him which was unoccupied, resting on it as he turned his head around a few times, seeing no teachers at all. Smiling, he turned back to the group, wanting to try something out. It wasn't going to be a prank, but it was definitely going to be mischievous if his plan work out. Thoughts had already formulated in his mind, his array of bombs of different powers, and powder. Specifically gunpowder.
"So, the teacher's not here huh? Well, I do have some toys that we could try out...", he said this still with a mischievous emotion on his face, looking down and taking a black bomb out of his pouch. He held it with just two fingers, being quite small in size, it's fuse being even bigger than the explosive itself. Chayse took a second to marvel at it, before he aimed it towards Casey, tossing the thing at her softly, not going to cause pain if it actually hit her.
"Here! Think fast!", as he did this, he also remembered that he hasn't even given them the chance for an introduction and was extremely fast to get into some fun. Oh well, that will come after the person catches that tiny bomb. Beo in the meantime, simply watched his master mess around, as he was already quite used to this.

Aiden kept looking down. He mumbled under his breath. "Aiden… My name’s Aiden," he said. "I didn’t do it on purpose… I wasn’t trying to..." He heaved a sigh and leaned down to his bag. He pulled a book out and placed it on his desk with a pencil in his hand. He looked at its cover and said apologetically: "I’m sorry..."
”Here! Think fast!”
Cas heard a short phrase from the guy who was seated on the desk behind him. Hearing that phrase that’s been heard countless of times during his training in his hometown, which, incidentally, involved heavier and more painful projectiles, Cas did what came to mind first - redirect the projectile. A small barrier forming behind his head as he leaned towards Alex.
As she ducked out of the way of what was a seemingly tiny bomb, she watched in mild amusement that quickly turned into horror as the bomb made a beeline for Aiden’s direction this time. “Oh dang…” raising her voice, she almost shouted, “Aiden, watch out!”
Aiden turned to her upon hearing her. His eyes opened wide as he saw the bomb getting closer to him. He quickly raised his arms in defense and released lightning unconsciously, shooting at the bomb.
As lightning struck the bomb, a small flash erupted in the middle of the desk, mildly singing the table below. However, this was of lesser concern to Cas at the moment, since the lightning bolt shot out was hastily conjured, and not properly calibrated to simply stop the bomb. That said, facing down a fork of lightning coming at your face tends to make things in life pretty interesting in those few seconds before you get fried.
An idea forming in Casey’s head as time slowed and her life flashed before her eyes, a mischievous glint appeared in them as a barrier shoddily constructed itself, angled towards the man who threw the bomb. The shield shattered upon impact of the lightning bolt, redirecting the small bit of raw energy, and she smirked at the man, mouthing two words. “Think fast.”
Aiden stumbled backwards after the bomb exploded. He flew over the desk and fell a few meters away. "Ow..." His notebook was on open, on the ground with his pencils scattered around him. There were some drawings in the open pages. "What… was that…?"
[[Collab room is open guys, let's not give our intermediates too much a hard time with our shorter posts ;)]]
After finishing the meal, it didn't take very long time before the bells decided to signal an assembly, and what else could it be but the gathering in the classroom? Amaris threw aside the paper napkins she had brought with her and headed towards the classroom. She had borrowed it every once in a while when she needed more blackboard space, though normally, she'd just isolate herself on the top floor of one of the dormitory buildings.
Just like she remembered, the entrance was quite grand, and the halls looked pretty decent for being a castle and all with several hundred... Well, kids, adults, other stuff, walking with shoes on in the halls. The floor plates looked alright, so did the walls and roof. She kept a calm phase while walking past a couple classroom, most of which where either housing some students just wasting time, or they were simply empty. She had entered from the 'wrong direction' or whatever you'd like to call it, the back entrance basically. which meant she would have to walk through the entire hall, not that it was very long, but still.
Eventually however, she did make her way to the classroom. She entered it with slowly with calm and collected steps, her hands simply hanging down by her sides, the left one armored, seeing how much trouble it was to take off the metallic armor. It simply took way too long time to be bothered with it anyways. It seemed to be practically unbreakable and didn't seem like rusting either, so why bother?
The classroom seemed to be less than half filled. A quick assumption told her it was probably made to have space for around 100 students, though she highly doubted that it would be filled especially often. She made her way between the seats and sat down besides where Chayse earlier had been sitting. (And I will say this right away, it isn't metagaming when it's in third person...) She leaned back in the seat and looked over at what seemed to be some social gathering around one girl she could barely see between all the people. She brushed it off as the girl simply being arrogant and loud-mouthed. That was normally the easiest way to attract attention at least.

If you see me on this site, it's probably because I'm not particularly interested in it. Or I may be slightly intoxicated, though probably you won't see me here.
White had heard this 'think fast' thing before. It was usually used when a human was throwing something at him. He ducked under the table, but he wasn't ready for a bomb. When it went off, he covered himself with ice, and waited for it to stop. What just happened? why did the man throw that? Idiot. The ice disappeared and got back into his seat, a bit shaken.
Aiden slowly pushed himself off of the ground. He sat up and saw his book and pencils on the ground and panicked, ignoring the damage he'd taken from the bomb his lightning had set off. He crawled on the ground, gathering his pencils and book. "Oh no...!"
He quickly closed the book and pulled it close to him. He set it on the table and started cleaning the pencils up.
Adam didn't have time to react to the bomb, all he could do was watch it bounce around between some students before eventually exploding and knocking Aiden onto the ground, again.
"What do you think you are doing!?" Shouted Adam towards Chayse.
At least no-one was hurt. Adam thought, Why would he do that?
Aiden looked up at the students turning to Chayse. "He... He didn't do it," he mumbled loud enough for them to hear. "I don't think the fuse was lit... when he threw it."
He looked down and put his pencils on the table. He felt the red liquid rolling down his forehead with his fingers. Did I make it blow up...? "I-it was a reflex... I wasn't... I didn't try to..." His voice faded away, knowing making excuses was pathetic at this point.
He sighed and looked down at his desk. "I've been hearing them talk," he said silently. "One of them claims he's a zombie and another one said their previous job was guiding souls into the other world. And the other one is a caffeine addict, as it seems.
