At this point my current "RP model" is to basically have Sagittarius and from time to time make simpler sci-fi RPs along with Sagittarius. I wouldn't be that surprised if some people saw me as "Mr. Sci-fi RPs" due to every RP I have made involving sci-fi elements in some shape of form.

I was actually planning on having Prussian troops be issued combat hatchets or something like it, but it'll be a while until I make a post where they actually cut someone down with it.

LolI am not to into the space, and machine type roleplay's. Academy types are overused, but I still play them if they sound interesting. I prefer a normal setting, where anything can happen. Modern day magic, fights, school, love... Anything along those lines. I prefer not to go into super detail on everything.
I need help with details, I find them very hard to describe. Whenever I do try to describe them it usually gets all jumbled up or redundant, I can't seem to find any way to get better at them. I also have trouble with character development and making my posts seem longer. Any tips?

You won't like my RPs than; practically all/most of them have a "no gods, no magic" Policy in mind and are usually sci-fi.

There's a few things you can do, Monster.
One you can do for detail in posts is practice, you can do this by grabbing a picture or a photo, any old image will do, and describing it in your own words until what you have is something that can reconstruct the picture in the mind of someone who hasn't seen the picture before. When you're confident with this, you may be able to describe, in words, scenes you may have in your head. Same technique works for videos as well. Only do this if you really want to, though.
Another thing, both for helping with post length and redundancy, theosauri are your friends! The most aesthetic way to use the same word twice is to use different words with the same meaning.
For post length, I reccomend incuding what your character is looking at, thinking and/or feeling, this fills more space than you think most of the time. Body language is great for post length as well, even subtle stuff is good.
Character development is a fickle thing, you really have to coax it out of the story. It requires a good connection with your character's personality and how that would affect his or her descisions. You'll find that if you 'play the role' to the fullest extent and really see the world in your character's eyes, thinking how they would think, that development just kind of happens. Unless you plan it out with a pre-defined story arc, in which case you really need to know beforehand exacly what kind of events are going to significantly affect or change your character and making sure they play out, but his is a bit less fun.
The moral of these stories? Play God, and there is a 100% chance you will be mauled to death by leopard men.

Or if you want to dedicate the time, there's always a set of 99 questions I got that could be answered in regards to a character. It gets really in depth. Some of the questions have blind sided me in the past in regards to character creation. Though, it's obvious length is kind of off putting and you may not want to do it for every little character. I certainly wouldn't in regards to the characters I make for Precipice, some of them I may have appear once, or get mentioned and then disappear.
I should really get to compiling a guide and putting those 99 questions in.

I hope that helped.
Thanks for the advice, as for super advanced-long posts.
I usually try to get a paragraph out, after all most of my posts are very quick outside this section because of my outside the forums life, so I won't be joining any advanced RPs.
Though thanks for the tips, it really helps me out.

So despite all odds, I started a guide thread. I'mma go through some other guide threads and pull them apart for ideas. Because like a good research paper... you always need sources.
However, I will send what I got to Hugs and Mutton for a once-over.

I've never seen any of your RPs.
