Prescott rode his bike past the school gates and parked it at a bike rack, unfortunately, forgetting his bike chain, he had to leave it unchained. He adjusted his Prada messenger bag and walked casually into the school. His glasses had slowly been sliding down his nose during the bike ride, so, he adjusted those also. He gazed around the school, looking for any familiar faces but all he could see is some people that used to bully him. Prescott remembered that his one friend, Robert, had moved away last year. It upset him and he realized it was going to be a long year.

Prescott walked to his locker, examining it. He needed to personalize it to suit his intellectual needs. First, he opened it up and organized it through wire shelving. Second, he placed fine labels written in script on the shelving and placed a few books inside. Third, he placed a mirror on the locker door for fixing his hair and tie along with a compartment for storing pens and pencils. After that, he glanced out the window. By chance, he saw the white-haired girl under a willow tree.
He sighed, he wasn't sure if he could become friends with her. After all, he had rarely become friends with anyone last year. But, chances are worth taking, so he decided to go outside. He went out one of the side doors of the school and approached the willow tree. He walked over to the girl, who's name he did not know. To try and break the ice he said a quote from Bruce Lee, "Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind."

"I'm sorry for startling you," he said, "I should have tried a more reasonable approach." He fiddled with his wrist, noticing that he had forgot his Rolex that his father had given to him. "Anywho, I'm Walter, but I'd most undoubtedly prefer you to call me Prescott." He gazed at the earbuds and wondered what song she may have been listening to, preferring classical music himself, he most likely wouldn't know the song or band.

"Not good with...uh" he said, not remembering what he was going to say. "I'm sorry, I'm not really that great with conversations either," he sighed, "never really had many friends either." He fiddled with his keys in his pockets now, he had a terrible habit with fiddling with things when nervous.

Prescott scratched his head, he couldn't remember for the life of his family. He opened his messenger bag that was on his side and fished through it for his schedule. "Ah, here it is." He read through the list, quickly memorizing it and while putting it back in the bag, said "Physics, Calculus, English, History, Japanese, and lastly, Fencing." He finished closing it, "How 'bout you?"

He smiled when he heard the word Japanese, he was a complete anime fanboy. "Mind if I sit down?" he asked. Sitting down anyway, he was kind of disregarding her answer. "I'm sorry for being rude but, do you watch anime?"

He got back up quickly, brushing grass off of his rear. "Pretty sure anyone who truly likes anime would consider 'liking anime' an understatement" he said, trying to disregard that he might have seemed too imposing by sitting next to her. "Especially me, you ever see Shingeki No Kyojin? It's a pretty good anime?"

"Nice," he said. He was getting nervous, he had no clue what time it was and was kind of curious what she looked like cosplaying for Shingeki No Kyojin. "Sh*t, pardon my French, but I bet it's almost time for class," he stated, "I guess I'll see you in Japanese?"

Prescott chuckled, she really was shy. He guessed he was just more suave than he had thought. "Damn it," he murmured. He had forgotten to compliment her hair, her beautiful hair. He sure hated to see her go but loved to watch her leave. He started walking, hands in pockets, to his first class, physics.
Brianna got up and proceeded to walk to her first class, Math. She started thinking about the conversation she'd overheard outside. I think there is a romance brewing, she thought.
She followed a map of the school that was hanging on the wall to the Math room, and took a seat in the row right in front of the back.

Prescott walked at a brisk pace, making sure not to be late to the classroom. He sat down in a seat at the front of the class, eager to answer questions that he most likely already knew the answer to. He took out a large notebook and a ballpoint pen, slowly tapping it, as the bell rung.

Class had started immediately, the professor didn't seem to care about introductions or anything else of the kind. All he seemed to care about was teaching the wonderful world of physics. Prescott wrote down notes, furiously, in neat script that filled up pages upon pages.

Prescott continued copying down the annoying notes, he secretly dreaded taking this class. It wasn't too challenging for him but the amount of notes was terrible. On the margins of the paper, he started doing various arithmetic to pass the time. The teacher continued with their lecture, explaining the fundamental laws of physics to the class; lots of his classmates didn't seem to understand. They were dazed and confused.
