((Why is thinking about what I'm gonna post in RPs the hard part?))
"And that's the last one." I said, tossing the cut log into the nearby pile of wood. "Wow, you worked faster than I thought. Come on, it's lunchtime anyway." My Dad said. We were eating lunch and listening to the radio, until after we heard some interesting news. "There has been discovery of a new disease. Those affected show mild levels of aggression. It is unknown if this disease is contagious, or it's source, we will keep you updated when new information is released." Dad turned off the radio afterwards.
((This really isn't a good day for me to think of stuff to write/type.))
Name- Jenkins Henderson Age(Between 15 & 45)- 27
Gender(Male/Female/Both)- Male (by the way, what the hell is the Both there for? Tranny characters?)
Ethnicity(Caucasian/African-American/Asian/Etc.)- Causacian
Physical Appearance(Body Type and Facial/Picture or Description)- Medium muscle tone, light tan, bald, brown beard
Clothing- Tight jeans, sports grade armor
Personality(Characteristics)- Apathetic
Biography- When the outbreak started, Jenkins was one of the first to become ready. He had lived with his wife and child, but both were lost to walkers when their car broke down. Ever since then, Jenkins has walked alone, the only thing driving him on being his wish of the death of every walker in America. Due to having trained since he was 8, Jenkins has professional-grade survival skills, as well as the knowledge of maintaining and firing a shotgun, and athletic abilities that come close to Olympic-grade athletes. City/Location- New York
Inventory(11 Items or Less)- Remington 870, 16 gauge shells X250, tin of baked beans X24, water bottle, frying pan, first-aid kit, pocket firelighter, solar-powered torch, Bowie knife Theme Song- Skillet - Not Gonna Die
Other- Walker
Twenty-Seven with a wife and child? Not saying it's impossible or anything, but please don't tell me the child was like thirteen, three at the most would be a somewhat acceptable age. Anyway, accepted, and yes Final, you're accepted. Also, I implemented the "Both" part for total customization of a players character. Ignoring separate genders, ethnicities, etc is a weakness many RP's seem to adopt.
((And maybe Engie married an older woman who already had a child?))
((Do not want. Actually, the child was 2. Was.))
Jenkins walks into the city, slowly and carefully. Hearing a groan from behind him, he turns around, blasts the walker away with a shot to the chest and head, and continues walking. (16 Gauge Shell X248 left) Jenkins then enters an apartment building and treads quietly up the stairs.
((Good opening, though I'd recommend a more stealthy approach to taking out a Walker next time, they're attracted to sound and you just blasted a shotgun in the middle of a considerably large city.))
((My only other options were bashing it with a frying pan, risk close combat with a bowie knife, burn it with the firelighter, or run. Running doesn't fit the bill for someone trying to kill. The shotgun was pretty much the safest option.))
((Wasn't this starting a few days before the outbreak? Or was there a timeskip? I'm just gonna shut up now in OOC.))
"Something wrong?" I asked Dad. He hesitated for a moment, then said "No, it's nothing. We should get back to work."
Dad brought me home a few hours after noon. "I'm going back, don't burn the kitchen while I'm gone." "That was just one time, Dad. And it was years ago."
"Say what you want." He left afterwards. "I wonder if Hannah is home." I mumbled to myself.
I went across the street to where Hannah lives. I walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell. "Timmy, aren't you gonna get that?" "No! I'm eating my sandwich!" "Then put it down and answer the door!" "Then bugs will take it!" "For the last time, there aren't any bugs in this house!" "You don't know that. You can answer the door!" "Fine!" Hannah and her younger brother threw words back and forth at each other.
"Oh, Henry. Hi." Hannah said as she opened the door. "You didn't hear any of that, right?" "I'm afraid I did." "Oh god, just shoot me now." "He still won't listen to you?" "No. It's been getting worse lately." Come on, let's take a walk, forget all about it." "Okay, finally some time away from that kid."
We started walking up the street. Hannah noticed a man walking around aimlessly. "Hey, are you lost?" She called out to him. The man turned toward us and started walking in our direction. After a few seconds of looking at him, I started feeling a small sense of dread. "Hannah, we should go. There's something off about him, and I don't want to find out what it is." I took Hannah by the hand and started walking away.
As we were walking back, about five people came out from behind a house, although I doubt they're people. Some of their skin has been decayed and there is no color is their eyes. "Hannah, run. Go!" I told Hannah. We started running back to her house. We were getting close to Hannah's house, until I saw her get grabbed by one of those things. "Henry! Help!" She called out to me. I tried to help her, until that thing started biting her, causing her to scream in pain and blood to gush out of her shoulder. Deciding not to watch any further, I turned around and ran, not looking back. I made it back to my house. I locked both doors and sat on my bed, thinking about what to do.
Depends on how you approach things. Sure if you bluntly charge a Walker, you might end up bitten, but if you know your way on how to use a frying pan, you can probably get away w/ incapacitating it pretty effectively. Remember, these Walkers are reanimated beings that are slowly decomposing, they aren't very strong.

((Actually, since their bodies no longer have any safety limiters, they can force all their muscles to a task. Put simply, they can punch through steel plating with slight difficulty. Low grade armor, such as a flak vest, would be completely useless. Granted, decomposition does render them slightly weaker than when a healthy human goes into "emergency" mode, but they are still far stronger than most people can normally manage. In case you mean durability wise, tell me of any person you know that can survive being torn in half and decomposition of vital organs.))
((He means walkers are slow and stupid. They would never even attempt to punch through steel plating, because they have no need to. Also these aren't real life zombies, they are just from a show. Thats what we are basing them off of.))
((Well, I have never seen the Walking Dead, so I'm going by what has been said in the introduction. Is there anything other than what has already been said that I should know?))

Aubrey Hawthorne 23
♂ (Both? Wat?)
Caucasian Clothing- Aubrey sports the following t-shirt: And a pair of light-colored street jeans.
Aubrey has an interesting personality. He is attentive, focused, and calm in stressful situations. He's also very intelligent, which allows him to think quickly. He would make an ideal leader. His only weakness is his asthma, which restricts his physical capabilities.
Aubrey was born and raised in Virginia. Up until he was thirteen, he lived in Richmond. While he loved his life in Richmond, his parents felt they needed to move away after their apartment was broken into and many of their possessions stolen. They decided to move to Winchester, VA, because it was quieter and closer to Washington DC, which was where Aubrey's father worked. At 21, he got his Associates Degree in an undisclosed subsection of Computer Engineering. From there, he had been working in an Assembly line in a medium-sized company in Arlington. When the infection began, the first thing everyone did was panic. They ran, they hid, and of course, most of them never went home alive. Aubrey, along with a group of two, instantly left for Winchester, where the disease was less likely to spread. All three of them were already putting together well thought out plans on what to do if the “zombie apocalypse” were to happen. At the time, it was a joke, but they found the plans they put together then called “wasted hours” became the only reason they were still alive. They reached Winchester and raided local stores for everything they needed: gasoline, food, a few guns, and some good movies. The owner of the gun store had already taken his two shotguns and a bag full of ammunition and left, leaving everything in the store up for grabs. The grocery stores were horrific, as people fought over what was left. Deciding not to fight over the the bacon and other meats that people were killing each other for, The trio piled canned foods, loaves of bread, and water bottles into their grocery carts and left as soon as possible. The gas station was strangely not crowded with people. You'd think people would be scrambling for as much gas as possible, but it seemed more people were interested in stocking up and hiding, as if that would do any good. They raided three gas stations, pumping as much gas as possible and not paying a penny. Piling their belongings into Aubrey's friend's truck (Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 4x4 if you want to get specific) the trio set off westward. Aubrey's family had already called ahead and told Aubrey they were leaving to head west while he was still on the road. Much to his dismay, he hasn't heard from them since. While Winchester hadn't been affected by the outbreak, and Aubrey had yet to see what one of the “infected” looked like, he didn't want to be around when the infection got there. Aubrey had two companions. Michael Stevens, Aubrey's closest friend, helped him plan the whole idea out, and even bought the G63 they were all currently in. Amy Richards, the other companion, was a baker at the local cafe across the street from the Assembly line. The three befriended, and had always been together ever since. Aubrey lives in Winchester, so he'll start in Winchester. Aubrey's Inventory: 1x Big Black Bag 1x Phone 1x Wallet (Holding his Credit Card, $45.00 in cash, and an assortment of other items found inside a wallet) 1x Laptop 1x Earphones 1x Package of Wrigley 5: Prism 1x Bottle of Water 1x Flashlight (78% charged) 1x Remington 798

List of desired Items: A low-power mini-refridgerator An inverter to convert gasoline (or the car battery) to usable electricity to power anything they need to be powered. A mini u-haul back to put the supplies into (beginning to get a little cramped) More car batteries An additional radio to scan both FM and AM frequencies simultaneously Information on any refugees out there
Statuses: Aubrey: Determined. Aubrey hasn't really been too shaken about the invasion, and is constantly searching for a radio transmission. Michael: Slightly Shaken. Still trying to understand everything that had happened in the last three hours. Amy: Troubled. While she contributed to the zombie apocalypse plans, she never would have expected it to happen. G63: Good. 25.1/25.4 Gallons left.
The group hopes to locate a resistance or a stand somewhere in either the Blue Ridge Mountains or West Virginia. Theme Song- (This isn't required, is it?)
Other- I'm Walkering.
G63 AMG Model: The G63 model was based off of previous military vehicles, but is being sold for civilian use by MB. There is a 6x6 model for it that is currently being used by the Australian military. Make no mistake, I am not using that model.
Also, all of the supplies I currently have is data I gathered from doing a mock raid on my local Wal-Mart. I decided to pretend to see how much I could gather in three minutes. If you feel the numbers are unrealistic in any way, I will drop them, but please keep in mind, it's not all that far-fetched.
If the ammunition is too much, I'll lower that too. Obtaining the weapons I listed from a gun store isn't that hard, and if there was no one around to guard the guns, there's nothing stopping you from stealing whatever you wanted.
I will submit apps for the other two characters in my introduction if this one makes it through.
After a few minutes of thinking I realized something, Timmy. He is just a kid, he won't survive this on his own. I rushed to my 'personal items' storage chest. I took everything out of it and got out my hand ax. I ran out of the house to across the street.
When I got to the house, I was too late. One of those things was crouched over Timmy, making chewing sounds, possibly eating him. "Get off of him you ba-----." ((Don't wanna get banned for language, that happened to one of my friends twice.)) The thing got up and turned towards me and started walking to me. I lunged my ax at it's chest, but nothing happened. "What the hell?" I decided to go for the head. A perfect strike to the head, and it fell. "What the hell were you?" I started searching the house for a duffel bag or something similar.
After searching nearly every room not finding what I was looking for, I went into the last place I wanted to search, Hannah's room. I didn't want to go in there, I left her for the dead. I pushed myself to go in there, to look for something to carry supplies in. I found a blue backpack on her bed with a small box on it. A note saying "To my good friend Henry. From: Hannah" was on the box. I opened the box, and inside was a picture of the two of us in a frame. "She actually liked me." I put the picture back in the box and put it in the pack.
I went back to the living room to gather supplies for the road, and heard some weak breathing coming from Timmy. But he died, didn't he? He got up and started walking to me. Without hesitation, I swung my ax at his head, most likely killing him.
I gathered up all the supplies I could carry, picked up a car key I found, and left the house. I got in the car, started the engine, and left the neighborhood, for good, not stopping for anything.
The trip out of Winchester was shorter than it seemed. While the intelligent people packed up and left town, a majority of the civilians in Winchester were obeying the EBS: "Stay indoors at all times, do not make contact with anyone outside."Aubrey looked back from the passenger seat at the little town he grew to love. That was the last time he'd ever gaze at the small town of Winchester. Michael sat in the driver's seat, frantically yelling and wailing on the horn at the drivers around him. Turning back, Aubrey began searching through the radio for any updates on current events. "The infection has spread all over DC, anyone still alive out there... run!" "--reanimated after death--" "They're mindless... like zombies..." He continued to scan the stations for any information on refugee camps or places to hole up in. The original idea was to camp out somewhere in the mountains, but that idea is easier said than done. Amy, who had been trying to figure out how to load one of the USPs they had stolen from a gun store, asked Aubrey to put on one of her albums in her CD collection that she brought. "Eisbrecher?" Aubrey asked after flipping through endless pages of CDs. "No, thanks." Amy responded.
"Muse?"
"That'd be fine."
After inserting "The Resistance", Aubrey reached into the back of the truck for a P30 and a clip. It took a little time to figure out, but he soon loaded the gun and stuck it in the glove compartment. "Hey, guys? We're going to Pittsburgh first." Aubrey said. "Pittsburgh? Why Pittsburgh?" Michael asked, now out of traffic. "I'm hoping to pick up word of some organization broadcasting on a frequency we can pick up. Our best chances are the bigger cities, where more radio stations can be used. We can go from Pittsburgh to Cleveland, then head west." "Won't that put us in the direct path of the infected, though?" Amy asked from the back seat. "It will. Let's hope there's at least one group of survivors out there." Michael answered.
The mountains were beautiful. Despite the current apocalypse, not one of them could deny that the view was indeed one of a kind. It almost made them forget about the current event. The trio set off for Pittsburgh.
John, An uncertainty had settled over Brooklyn as John slowly coursed his car through the somewhat sparse road to his apartment. The sidewalks were less crowded and the neighborhood in general was oddly quiet. After making a short run to the store for some groceries, John had decided to settle in for the night, it'd been a long and somewhat stressful Friday; his mind was set on getting home, cracking open a beer, watching Football and relaxing with his girlfriend, Chris, and Greg. It'd be one of those fun family nights, they'd play board games, video games, drink, the usual stuff they got up to. Slowly, John's mind trails off to getting laid as he turns the corner leading to his apartment neighborhood.
Turning the corner, John's eyes glance to his phone, it'd started to vibrate. Picking up the phone, John glances at the caller, it was Kate. John answers the phone with a swiftness as his heart somewhat skips a beat.
-"Hey babe, what's up?" John asks warmly as he one-handed steers the car. -"Nothing much baby, just feeling like we should hang out tonight." Kate says with her soft voice. -"Sounds good, what time can you be over?" John asks.
Listening to Kate, John thinks about the fun they'd get up to. With the conversation ending on a good note, John ends the call with "I love you too" before putting it into his jeans pocket. Pulling up to the curb where Greg and Chris's cars were parked, John removes the keys from the ignition and steps out of the 2004 Black Mitsubishi Galant(Gotta have an affordable car for a college student, only logical). The cool autumn breeze settles over the neighborhood as John adjusts his sweatshirt. Quickly advancing up the apartment steps, John whips out his house keys and slides the large bronze key in the slot, turning the key and finally opening the door into the apartment. The smell of fabreze greeted John as he steers his way into the dinning area, setting his backpack on one of the four dinning chairs and heading into the kitchen where he sets down the bag of groceries on the counter-tops and grabs a quick drink from a milk carton. Greg greets him as he strolls into the living room; carrying a bowl of salt-free chips with him.
-"How was your day?" Greg asks as he situates himself onto the sofa. -"Good, though I had a test today, pretty sure I bombed it." John responds somewhat mellow like. -"Not good, what was the test on?" Greg inquires. -"Business crap, the usual overly-dramatized sales pitches and graphs." Greg laughs to himself as he listens to John. -"So did you get all the groceries we needed?" Greg asks as he watches John unpack the groceries. -"Not all, surprisingly, they're all out of the bread we typically get." John responds as he shuffles through the brown plastic bag. -"What about the Tylenol?" -"They were out of that too for some reason, I got you ibuprofen instead." John says, presenting the bottle. -"That should do, my head's been killing me lately, I think I've got a cold coming on." Greg says as he takes a handful of chips from his bowl.
The next hour was spent around the two, plus Chris, who finally came down from his room after taking an afternoon nap, watching Football and drinking Samuel Adams Octoberfest. With the sun setting on the horizon, the trio is greeted with the loud chime of their doorbell. Getting up from his spot on the couch, John stands and approaches the door.
-"That'll be Kate." John remarks as he inches towards the door.
Upon opening the door, John is greeted by a short, warm faced woman who he'd known as his girlfriend.
-"Hey beautiful." John flirts as he swiftly plants a kiss on her lips. -"Hey handsome." She replies, her eyes glancing up to him.
John allows Kate inside, holding her hand as she enters the kitchen, peeling off her overly large hoodie that John had given her and places it on the back of a chair. Kate moves with precision as she takes a seat with John, Greg and Chris greeting her warmly. Together, the four enjoy some afternoon TV entertainment, Kate curled up with John, Greg and Chris discussing their favorite sports teams.

G63 AMG Model:
The G63 model was based off of previous military vehicles, but is being sold for civilian use by MB.
John,
An uncertainty had settled over Brooklyn as John slowly coursed his car through the somewhat sparse road to his apartment.
-"Business crap, the usual overly-dramatized sales pitches and graphs."
Greg laughs to himself as he listens to John.
-"So did you get all the groceries we needed?" Greg asks as he watches John unpack the groceries.
-"Not all, surprisingly, they're all out of the bread we typically get." John responds as he shuffles through the brown plastic bag.
-"What about the Tylenol?"
-"They were out of that too for some reason, I got you ibuprofen instead." John says, presenting the bottle.

((fallout, could you provide a short list of every current player and their location and post it in the first post? While I don't want to spontaneously jump to a random city that happens to have survivors, I don't want to waste 4-5 posts searching cities that are pretty much 99% infected.))
((Also, does anyone see any of their characters accessing a broadcast tower in the near future? I'm beginning to realize how long it will take for us all to meet each other, and with no internet, we can't exactly post anything on CNN or BBC. Oh, and keep in mind, resources will begin to run dry in the near future. You can kiss your steaks and bacon goodbye, as it probably wouldn't be good anymore. Better stock up on food, and if you're traveling, keep MPG in a reasonable level. You can't do a straight trip from Phoenix to Los Angeles without refueling. Unless you raided a gun store and stole everything they have in it, you probably don't have enough ammunition to make any stands yet, so don't Braveheart it out and wage one-man wars if you can avoid it.))
