Gorsestar spotted the squirrel at the same time as Tealpaw did. He tensed, wondering what she would do. The squirrel was perched near her, so it shouldn't require a lot of muscle power. Gorsestar prayed that Tealpaw didn't overjump.
Gorsestar lashed his tail, thinking about the time when Sandpaw fell from the tree. That had only been a little while ago. Sandpaw was only three moons away from completing his training - if he couldn't climb properly, then he couldn't use any of the aerial moves LionClan warriors used or hunt among the trees. Tree climbing was an important thing in LionClan - Lionstar had established that. Gorsestar wanted to be sure that Sandpaw was able to live up to those standards.
Gorsestar scanned the forest. Thankfully, it was silent. There was no sign of invaders, which was good. He thought back to two days ago, when he and Sandpaw had been attacked by a small dog that had escaped from it's Twoleg. Gorsestar flexed his shoulder, wondering how much longer it would take those bite marks to heal.
(for future reference, if i ever stop RPing abruptly, its because im told to get off the computer. i am 14, and have a limited amount of computer time each day.)
((I completely understand, don't worry about it. If we are in a major situation and you have to leave right away, do I have permission from you to have your character do something, just to make sure the RP flows smoothly? I won't do it all the time, only once in a great while if it's absolutely needed))
Gorsestar heaved a sigh of relief as Sandpaw caught the squirrel. He glanced at Tealpaw. "Drop the squirrel." He ordered. "You look like you just got attacked by someone, what with the way your muzzle is stained red like that." He flexed his shoulders. "After we are done here, we will do some battle training."
Sandpaw looked at the squirrel. he got it by the stomach. crack. he heard. uh-oh... he thought.
he jumped down and aimed for the puddle tealpaw was near. he landed safely.
Gorsestar turned toward Tealpaw. "Alright." He growled. "Let's start some battle training. I want to see the leap-and-twist you learned yesterday that you were told to practice."
((Do you guys want me to post some battle moves on the OP so you aren't lost in battle training?))

((only if it's absolutely necessary, however, i would like it if you didnt.))
Sandpaw breathed deeply and relaxed his shoulders as he felt an entire invisible, non-existent cat come off him(in short he felt relieved.). it was the first successful tree hunt.
"nice!" i said. then i looked back at grosestar. "oh... right..." *getting to a low mumble* "your supposed to rate how she did..." he felt that invisible cat again.

What book are you on in the Series, or are you waiting for Thunder Rising: I finished book 5 like 2 years ago, but than stopped reading the series. (I'm not proud of it...)
Character Name: Darkclaw
Character Age: 18 moons? (I forgot how old an average cat becomes)
Character Appearance: deep black pelt, sharp claws, and really green eyes. He is also pretty big.
Personality: He likes to scare other cats by using his stealthness and sneaking up from behind. He also rarely shows emotion.
Why does this cat deserve deputy: He is as loyal to the clan as he can be, and he is a real veteran in the field. He is also a real friend if you need him.
What is/are the name(s) of this cat's former/current apprentice(s): He only had one: Cherrypaw. He died in a battle between the lionclan and a group of rogues.
Brief History (min. of 2 sentences, max. of 5): He was a loner, because his mother (unknown) dropped him in the middle of the forest. By usage of his stealth, he survived pretty long, until a Lionclan patrol found him. Because he was still 4 moons when they found him, Ivystar gave in to take him into the clan. (I'm not sure who could've been my mentor. Ideas coco?)
Family: The clan, as they 'adopted' him in his eyes
Mate (leave blank if the cat doesn't have one):
Kits (leave blank if the cat doesn't have any, please fill out a separate form for any current litters):
Cat Gender: male

((Accepted, and I'm just gonna say that Talonclaw was your mentor. Feel free to submit up to 2 more applications, if you'd like.))
Gorsestar grunted. "Well done, Tealpaw. Now, let's see how you react when put up against another cat. I want you to attack Sandpaw. Both of you, don't hesitate to give it your all, but keep your claws sheathed."
he tensed even more, not moving a muscle.
he pounced.

Sandpaw remembered it clearly. he also saw the broken branch up the tree he was in. that was close. he thought.

Gorsestar glanced quickly at Sandpaw. He gave him a nod of approval before turning back toward Tealpaw to observe her leap-and-twist.
