"Glad to hear it." Sagittarius watched Kenozaki deliver the sandwich to Jasmine. He wasn't sure how to ask, so he just blurted it out. "Could you guys continue coming on missions with us?" Sagittarius then sat down, waiting for a response.
"Alright. Great." Sagittarius slightly tipped his head before getting up and heading out of the infirmary.
Ouside, Asada had gotten into an interesting conversation with Jormungard, who had happened to be waiting for her when she returned to her dormatory.
"So you cleaned out the house." he greeted.
"Hello to you, too." she answered, not surprised that he was there.
"Was it hard? Killing him?"
"Not at all. These goons you've got are pathetic."
"Who said they were my goons?"
"I assume you have some more information for me."
"The girl."
"The dead one?"
"Oh, she's not dead."
"What? She had no pulse, she's dead."
"Do you remember her wavelength?"
"Healing, why?"
"When a healing wavelength goes Afreet, it could perform a variety of tasks. This one was designed to resurrect the dead."
"You're not saying that she can..."
"Yes. She can bring herself back to life."
"Is she dangerous?"
"She's an Afreet."
Asada threw open the door to her dorm and began to search the campus for Dr Stein. Turning the corner, she ran into Sagittarius, who was leaving the infirmary.
"Ouch... where are you in a rush to?"
"Where's Stein?!"
"Death room... what's going on?"
"That girl!" Asada got up and continued to the death room, Sagittarius following closely behind.
Asada enters the death room and begins sprinting down the long hallway. Sagittarius, barely managing to keep up, hadn't noticed Kenozaki pursuing the two.
"Do you mind explaining what is going on?" he asked.
"The girl's an Afreet with a healing wavelength." Asada responded.
"And?"
"She can bring herself back to life, Sagittarius." Asada explained, stopping and looking him in the eye.
"You think we should've just... buried her?" he whispered.
"Lord Death's orders, Sagittarius."
Lord Death and Stein were engaged in a quiet and emotionless conversation when Asada approached them.
"Stein! That girl is endangering the students! She needs to go!" Asada started.
"We're already aware of the situation." Stein responded.
"Yes, we've been watching all activity in the DWMA." Lord Death added, staring specifically at Asada as he spoke.
"We have an Afreet in the infirmary that can revive itself!" Sagittarius threw in.
"She's in a concealed room. We have already requested a trained exorcist to prurify the girl." Stein waved his hand in a shooing manner.
"She could resurrect at any minute!" Asada began to panic at the lack of panic her superiors expressed.
"That girl is Afreet." Sagittarius explained, beginning to calm down.
"We've got to head back to the infirmary." Jasmine turned and prepared to return to the infirmary.
"No. Stein, please dispose of the Afreet's soul, and make sure none of the students are hurt." Lord Death commanded.
"I assume you're not helping?" Stein asked, glancing over at Lord Death.
"Not at all, I'm sure you can handle it."
As Stein left the room, Lord Death looked at the three students still in the room.
"You all may leave now... except you, Asada." Lord Death said as he turned his back to face the students. Sagittarius, following Lord Death's orders, left the room.
"We were ordered by Lord Death to bring her back here, dimwit!" Sagittarius spat.
"Asada. Nothing happens in the DWMA, no, Death City, without me knowing about it." Lord Death lectured. "I believe you know where this is going."
"Yes, sir."
"You are aware you could be expelled for fraternizing with an Afreet Egg?"
"Yes, sir."
"Is he so important that you are willing to be expelled from the DWMA?"
"I get information from him about the group that killed my sister."
"Information?"
"Yes, sir. That's how I knew the location of that Afreet summoning."
"Did he tell you to bring that Afreet back to the DWMA?"
"No, sir. Actually, That weapon/meister pair back there did. They wanted me to bury that girl..."
"Asada. I'm afraid I must ask that you do not contact this Jormungard again."
"Yes, sir."
With that, Asada turned and left the Death Room, reuniting with her weapon.
Inside a concealed room beside the infirmary, a small girl awoke to find herself tied a dissection table. A tall, sinister figure watched her from the shadows. Long stitches ran through his coat. A slight wisp of smoke suggested the man was smoking a cigarette. Naturally, the girl screeched and rolled around, trying to break free. The girl, after a good minute of wrestling with her bonds turned her head towards the man. She let out a loud unearthly cry before lying still, curiously looking at Stein, who was mentally taking notes about the Afreet.
"Girl, 12. Definite Afreet. If she were actually aware of her capabilities, she could stop my heart right now. I'm pretty sure this girl is the key for a bigger plan. Conventional methods of Afreet execution will not work, as she seems to have life regenerative qualities."
Stein approached the girl and, with a scalpel, dug into her arm. She hissed and screamed, in pain or fear, he couldn't tell. He took note as her arm healed itself seconds after being torn open. Taking a sample of the blood, Stein grasped the girl's hand.
"Goodnight, my dear."
Stein shot an overwhelming dose of his soul into the girl, instantly putting her to sleep. As he left the room, he turned to make sure she had in fact gone unconscious.
"It's hard to believe there's a monster under all of that hair, isn't it?"
((Would be really cool if some other people said some stuff... I'm worried my characters are going to get strangled by Jasmine soon, and we've got an angry Afreet in the DWMA. There's got to be something you can make of that.))
