Name: Grim Void Species: Cubone Gender: Male Level: 10 Moves:
-Growl
-Tail Whip
-Shadow Club (Type: Dark Power: 70 Effect: Confusion)
- Bio: Grim was born a poor Cubone in an old, dusty house in the outskirts of Treasure Town. At the time, his father was out exploring an uncharted area with a few friends for Arnold. Only moments after giving birth, his mother breathed her last breath. His father finally arrived and saw him several days later, crying by his mother's skeleton. He was wearing his mother's skull and was gripping one of her bone's tightly. In the corner lay a fainted Raticate. It had a large bruise on it's forehead, where Grim had presumably smacked it. His father decided to name him Grim, and from that moment on, he would teach Grim how to fight for himself. Grim was a slow learner, but he would do anything to make his father proud. The days went on. Each day Grim would get a little wiser and a little stronger. His father was a kind, patient man, who corrected Grim's mistakes. Life was going well for them. The future looked bright.
2 years passed since Grim was born. He was rarely exposed to the outside world, as his father feared losing him like he did with his mother. But one hot Summer day, his father decided to take just one trip outside, and let Grim breath some fresh air. They were going on a mountain climbing trip, and they would train on the summit. So they spent nearly 2 hours climbing up the mountain, taking short breaks on ledges to eat or rest. As they were nearing the summit, Grim started to get cocky. He began to overestimate his own abilities. He began climbing at much faster pace than before, hopping over ridges and ledges, trying to show to his father was he was agile. But as he leaped from one ledge to another, just below the top, he slipped. He fell from the mountain and landed on the ground, dead. Not fainted. Dead. His father immediately went down after him to check on his son, but began sobbing after seeing him lying on the ground, unmoving.
His father lost his wife, his son, everything that mattered. He had given up on life. He spent the next few days in his house, just thinking. Darkrai came across this Marowak in his travels and felt pity for him. So, Darkrai gave him a deal. A soul for a soul. In exchange for another soul, he would give him back his son's soul. His father thought about it for a moment. Then he looked up at the Darkrai. He simply said, "Mine. Trade my son's soul for mine." The Darkrai was hesitant to do so at first, but Grim's father pressed on. He wanted Grim to have another chance at life. And he was already long overdue. So, they made the exchange. Grim was brought back to life with Darkrai's blessing. His father, however, was long gone. He was doomed to the Distortion World forever. Nothing could bring him back. So Grim continued on miserably. He didn't speak much to other pokemon and became quiet and reserved.
Grim went on with his life, all alone this time. He rarely left his house, rarely talked to many pokemon. He only went out for food and drink, which he would buy with his ever dwindling amount of poke. But one day, he felt a bright spark of hope in his darkness. He discovered his father's old adventuring bag. It was an old leather bag that was starting to smell. The stitches were unraveling. But it was filled with memories. Inside was a map his father drew up of different areas around Allure Town while exploring. He would sometimes be brought out with his father to explore, and he would always bring the bag. They always had so much fun in the rare times they did leave. And it gave Grim one thing that he hadn't had in years: hope. It inspired him to become an explorer himself, so with his old, stinky brown bag and map, he set out for the world.

After the portal open, Deravan step out of it, feeling... different. He looks at himself, seeing he was back in his eevee form. He remembered parts of the future, about the form he had, but could not remember much of the people. He knew who he was, what happen to him, but the people were a different story completely. He sighed, then waited. Then the portal closed, and hes eyes widen. His brother was not there. He then receives a message from Dialga.
"Don't worry, he will be with you soon. He just need a bit more time." the message said. Deravan sighed in relief. He then looks towards Allure town. He did not actually remember how Allure town was in the future, but did remember who from before when he was a human was here. Waskom and River.... He miss them. He should have gone to say goodbye before going. He sighed. At least he knew they were safe. He start walking towards town, unsure. It seemed so new there... It felt strange, but it was rather peaceful. First off, before he goes and try's to see how to stop Dialga and Palkia, he needed to know his surrounding and also train up. He was sure that he would have challenges here. He then sighed. He was no longer a Runeon, so he could not use his light type move. Maybe later on...
(First post, and its rather large)
Booker Torrents, a weirdo of sorts, just not to himself, stands out in front of the Allure Town square, standing atop a crate. "And, so! My children! The prophet himself had once said, does it make a Pokemon as to one who evolves? Who changes his form, but not his personality? Why would one want to perform that act of malicious intent, in order to become a more powerful being in physical form? Arceus would not want that! And then neither would I!" Booker Torrents, who likes to be only called by his first name, Booker, preaches to his audience: his younger son, who just so happens to be not interested in his speech whatsoever.
"Come on, son, how was that? Better than before, I hope so." He son nods, fiddling with his glasses. "Uh-huh! Perfectly fine, Pops! And, when am I getting your hat, again? And your tattoo!" Booker sighs, hopping down from the crate, pulling out 100 Poke from his bag and handing it to his son. "Look, go out, and go to that carnival you've been wanting to go to, alright? I heard that they're selling these pretty cool hats based off of Zapdos!" He nudges his son, "Come on! You know that his story is the best! 'The legendary bird Zapdos rose from the...'". His son continues the passage, less than interested, and takes the money. "Alrighty, Pops! I'll see if I can grab that hat!" "Just stay away from the rare candies! And anything that promotes evolution!"

Me? CRAZY? No, no, I believe you're mistaken, I mean, I mean, HEY! I just met you, and uh...this! This is crazy! So, here's a number. And, call me, maybe? AHAHA.
Moves: -Detect -Pursuit -Fake Tears -Spark (Will be Thunderpunch when he evolves)
Bio: Gavin was just your average human. Until the war came. The war took everything away from him, his parents, his home, and his brother. But that didn't matter anyway, because his memory was also taken away. He woke up on the beach, not knowing who he was, or where he came from. The only thing he could remember was that he was once human. Once he could think strait, he noticed something. He felt... different somehow. Gavin looked down at himself and nearly fainted at the sight of what he had become. He had turned into some sort of small black creature. Panicking, he ran into the forest to hide his new appearance.
Gavin eventually learned how to survive in the wilderness, creating a makeshift house. He had found a great place to pick berries on a mountain, and went there to do that every day. Though, one day, there seemed to be a storm coming. Gavin decided not to listen to the warnings, and went up the mountain. He got lucky, and avoided the storm most of the way to the top, however his luck never seems to last very long... As Gavin made it to the top, he heard a shriek come from the thunderclouds. A zapdos came flying out and immediately attacked him with lightning. Gavin fell down the mountain, losing consciousness when he hit his head on a rock.
Gavin woke up surrounded by other strange creatures. He seemed to be in some sort of building, being healed. Once he felt better, he found out more about this world, and decided to be an explorer. During his adventures, he found that he had some electric powers. Gavin realized that it must've been from that encounter with Zapdos. Zapdos had given these powers to him. Gavin eventually went back in time, and found out about his past, and his brother, who was apparently still alive. Once Gavin returned to his own time, he was reunited with his brother.
Together, Gavin and Deravan helped save the world from a delusional evil Absol named Desia (who was doomed to begin with), however, they were sucked into a portal before they could finish the battle, and ended up at temporal tower. There, Dialga asked them for help. He warned them about what was happening in the past. They agreed to go and help, but some of their memories would be wiped. Gavin and Deravan went into the portal, traveling 15 years back in time...
Appearance: Looks just like any other Zorua.
Differences: Weakness to Ground, Immunity to Electric, and knows spark (will be replaced by Thunderpunch once he evolves.)
After another ordinary day of me and my brother exploring the newest Mystery Dungeon together, I turn to face him, and ask "So... how'd you like that one, bro?" He simply looks away, though, I have no idea why. I ask "Something wrong?" He finally fesses up "You... ugh, why won't you ever let me attack in the dungeons, or even get hit?" Shocked by this, I say "What do you mean? I'm sure I let you attack, earlier...." Spruce shakes his head, asking "Does this line sound familiar? 'Don't worry, I got this, bro!'" He said the second part of it in a mockery of my voice, and I say "Well.... I just... I wanted you safe, that's all..." He glares at me for a moment, saying "Safe, huh? What do you think will happen when the dungeons get harder, and I haven't even so much as leveled up?" I think for a moment, and then answer. "Well... I... um... you see..." He sighs, and says "I swear, one day, I'm going to do these things on my own... and heck, I may even save the world without your help!" That, of course, prompts me to tilt my head in slight confusion, thinking Is saving the world really that common here? I could have sworn we were just saved from a meteor about a month ago... I shake this feeling as Allure Town comes into view "Ah, good, a place to rest!" I say, trying to change the subject. Spruce simply follows me into town, and I notice everyone looking at me strangely. "Oh, right.... first time here..." I say under my breath. I then say, somewhat loudly "Yeah, I'm different, what of it?!" The others seemed to go on with their daily lives after that, and Spruce seems to faceleaf, and says "You know... you could have ended up on the other end of a beating with that remark..." I shrug, and head over to Keckleon's Stall to check out what he has in stock, today.
I walk into Allure town. I see pokemon galore. I hide behind some things, and peek out. I see a large wheel, and a bunch of small buildings with these spherical thingies, and another bigger building that say 'Shop'. I see a pokemon walking towards me, and I pull out my sharp stick. I open the crate, and jump in. The wild pokemon must have saw me, since it opened the crate. I jab my sharp stick at him, and he rears back, and screams. I close the crate again.

Deravan was looking around town, and looked in his bag for if he still had money or items. To his surprised, he saw 500 poke, 2 oran berry, and 1 reviver seed only. Seem Dialga decided that the less items he brough with him, the better. He walks over to the Keckleon stall calmly, seeing 2 snivy looking at the ware. He walks over to check the items. He knew that if he was going to get some training done, he needed to get some items. He did wonder when his brother will arrive. Anytime soon he hoped.
((Now I want to make a cubone character, but I feel I will try to make it happy at first, but then it will drift into depression and bleh. Maybe I could make a boneless cubone. Possibly with a german accent.))
Grim's eyelids fluttered open. He slowly got up and looked out the window. The sun was rising just over the horizon. Light was flooding into his room. " Another day, another adventure.. " Grim mumbled to himself. He had taken to saying this every morning for the past 2 weeks to prep him for the day ahead. He really hated doing so, but he forced himself anyway. Maybe in the future he would get used to it. He hopped off of his small woolen matress and picked up his shadow bone on his desk. He swung it around in the air a few times, attacking an invisible enemy. He then continued on out of his room. The hallway was quiet and dusty. Grim couldn't remember the last time he cleaned it up. He walked down the corridor and headed into the living room, the same place where his mother died. He took one wistful look at a spot in front of the fireplace, but continued on through the door. He looked around at the slowly awakening Allure Town. He headed to the main square and saw Booker the Mudkip preaching to his son. He shook his head and continued on. That old Mudkip was delusional. Multiple pokemon were out and about, doing their business. "Pretty busy today. " He said to himself, trying to make his way through the crowd.
"Hm... nothing too great, here... not even an Oran Berry." I comment on the stock in the shop. I tuen around and notice a Cubone with a black skull and a black bone. "Interesting... hey, Spruce, want to see if he'll join us?" I ask Spruce, who shrugs, and says "You're the leader, it's up to you." I then say "Oh yeah... um... never had any experience as a leader...". This, however, doesn't stop me, as I decide to walk over to the Cubone, and ask "So, what brings you into town, fellow adventurer?" I use a voice that sounds bolder than I really am... to make myself sound more like a leader... which, of course, I wasn't really all that good at being, just yet.
Booker hops back onto his crate, and flips through a small book, his journal of sorts, filled with speeches, translations, and random tid-bits of knowledge. "...Passage Number 42: What is the difference between an evolved Pokemon and one that is not? Well! What an excellent question to be asked in this town!" He points towards Mike the box breaker, "A fool who stands behind a shop, ruining the surprise of what can be contained within a small box for the impatient! That is what makes the evolved, de-volved! A fool among fools, while their pre-evolution counter-parts are full of charisma and child-like patience that is acceptable among all!"
His preaching dies off a bit, he's starting to lose some of his listeners. That's right, all two! "Hmmm...ah! What makes that, uh..." He looks around the town a little, shouting off random Pokemon, "What makes that Cubone there unique? Is it his colored mask that makes him different? No! It is the gracious fact he is not yet evolved! A blessing in disguise! That Snivy over there, too! What a pathetic evolution he shall encounter should he choose too! Did you know Snivys lose their ability to use their arms and legs as they evolve? Why would they want that?!"
He snaps his fingers and chuckles to himself a little, "And, and that there! Over there by the shop! You see! The Eevee! Oh, gracious Arceus, should the Eevee remain an Eevee, then he is granted up into the gates of above. Should he change his form into one of the seven deadly evolutions he has yet to encounter? Down into the darkness with Giratina he goes!"

I hear a muffled "Help!" and a bunch of stomping. I crack it open, and see a bunch of other pokemon around the wild pokemon. I jump out, and make a run for it. I trip on a rock in front of another crowd of people, and a man sitting on a box. I look at the crowd, and then at the man. If I could yelp, I would, but I sadly don't have a mouth. I see that my sharp stick has dug into the ground.

Deravan turns to hear what the mudkip yelled, and sighed.
"You should know that there not 7 evolutions, but more!" he then let out, then block his mouth.
"Might have gone and say too much." he says, turning around and looking at the ware. Then, his rune on the back of his neck was glowing brightly. He sighed, remembering his old form. Well... seem he was stuck like this for a while, so best get use to it. He then notice the snivy going to talk to a cubone with a strange skull. He sighed. Where the heck was his brother right now.
((Man, you're killing me with this religion stuff in the RP, lolol.))
I hear someone interrupt my talk with the strange Cubone, and hear him say something that's actually false. "Um... you DO know that Serperior still have arms and hands... right?" I then say in an attempt to correct the odd Mudkip. I shake my head, somewhat, and think I swear, it's almost like we haven't even been discovered as a species yet, sometimes... sheesh. I then turn my attention back towards the Cubone, and await a response from him. Spruce, however, seemed distracted, and was looking off in one direction. He seperates from the group, and runs off to whatever it was he was looking at. ((that would be your character, Scraggy.))
Grim turned to the Snivy. "Oh, hey there." He said. "I actually live here." Grim wasn't very interested in the conversation-he was paying more attention to the map his father made. His father died before he could give it to Arnold, so he decided to keep it for himself. Besides, what would Arnold use a map for? He payed attention to a dungeon his father was only half finished making his way through. It was apparently a foggy, mysterious place with a wide variety of pokemon. Grim was planning on exploring it today, and finish his father's work. His eyes flashed light blue at the thought of it. He rolled it back up and stuffed it into his bag. He turned, hearing someone mention him-Bookee rambling once again. He chuckled to himself, hearing him.
I get tossed out of the portal, half conscious, and land on the ground. I felt like I was going to throw up. "Ugh... Where... am I?" I ask, groggily. I seem to be at the Allure town entrance, though everything looks different...

Deravan, hearing what the cubone says, just sighed.
"I think I know where that place is... I sudgest to be careful if you go there. Care for unowns." he then says calmly. He sighed at the supply's the keckleon had.
"Nothing of use here..." he says.
"Now where the heck did my brother run off to." he then says.
(Uhm... Gavin, do make it that its not beside me... but near the town entrance)
"I uh...I..." Booker tries catching himself at his mistake, a loss for words. "Aha! So, you try to defend the righteousness that is the name of the holy un-evolution practices? You know someone who has delved into the un-righteousness that is evolution?! You, dear boy, have actually-" He stops, and chuckles to himself, sighing happily, before going back to his journal, flipping through it a bit, and reading from another passage. "...'Who is mightier? The fool or the fool who fights back?'. Haha...lesson learned, Booker, lesson learned..."
