((It's rather urban. From the gate, straight forward is the Rebel Headquarters. It looks like a Warehouse with large dome on top of it. In the west is the market district. There are many market stalls and merchants offering sales on various adventuring items, including Poke Balls. In the east are the suburbs. Many houses of various colors, shapes and size line the streets, and there are many people walking down the streets. Behind you is the Dock. That's where you came in.))
Well, the first thing I need to do is train.
If I ask for escorts, things may not go as planned... I can tell now that they'd lack the delicacy necessary... I'd either have to ditch them or not rely on them at all... and in any case, I'm likely to have to battle people at some point.
Well, that means I'd need pokeballs and a few items, because Misdreavus alone isn't gonna cut it, which means I'm gonna have to beat a few trainers or find Lovrina...
Rez headed right, not sure what he was looking for.
Name: Elizabeth
Gender: Female
Personality: Grumpy if annoyed, otherwise relaxed and observant.
Appearance:
History: Having struggled with even the concept of the chaos going on in the world, she secluded herself. However, a Gastly that strayed from the Tower during the night approached her, and related to her seclusion and so it began to trust her. Leaving the town when more and more thugs stormed in to capture Ghost Pokemon to help them on their many thefts, she stumbled across the sight of a wrecked truck belonging to Team Galactic, the stolen and captured Pokemon long since left, and found a single Pokemon inside; a Ralts huddled alone, afraid. She decided to comfort and take care of the female Ralts. Finally, she found a way to the location of the Rebel Base, hoping to be able to aid in the desperate cause.
Home Region and Town: Lavender Town, Kanto Region.
Starting Pokemon: Shiny Gastly (Nicknamed Metius)) (Level 7), Ralts (Nicknamed Dream) (Level 6).
Moves: Gastly- Hypnosis, Spite, Lick. Ralts- Growl, Confusion.
Other: grammar than pony
((So long as you follow all the rules, accepted.))
A trainer was walking down the street, and he saw Rez. "Hey, you look powerful. Want to prove that you are by having a battle?" The hotheaded trainer said to Rez. "Go, Seviper!" he shouted as the poke ball released a Seviper. "VIPAAAAA!" It said as it came out of the Poke Ball. "Your move!" he challenged.

"We must call for aid! Executor, bring out the Reavers! ... What? What do you mean we don't have reavers anymore? Then... send the Dragoons! ... Ugh, then what do you suggest? ... What's a Void Ray?!" -Tassadar, Savior of the Templar
Elizabeth wanders the suburbs, Metius floating along behind her and Dream sitting on her shoulder. She walks at a moderate pace, looking around.
*"This is pretty much all that is left of non-"Team" controlled land....*"
She sighs, wondering if things will ever actually change for the better. Furthermore, she feels like things could only get worse. But she is thankful she has Metius and Dream. Dream in particular she worries about. Dream is a young Ralts, and has only battled Pokemon such as Pidgey and Rattata. Elizabeth fears what will happen when Dream has to go against far deadlier Pokemon in the wild or worse... ones bred for violence by Team Galactic!
Shadow looked around and was now just getting bored. He decided to do a Pokemon battle. But he looked around and could only see other grunts, some just as bored as him. He walked up to one and asked, "Since there's no trainers here and it's getting boring, would you like to train?" The grunt looked at him and smiled. They nodded their head yes and they walked to the center of the plaza and prepared to battle.
I decided that maybe Sol wasn't all that interested in a tour, so I decided to go look around the town. On the way, I found a trainer. "Hey man, you wanna battle?" the trainer said to me. I pulled out a poke ball, and accepted his challenge. "Go, Sigilyph!" I said, as Sigilyph emerged from it's poke ball. He then sent out a Zubat, and the battle began.

Seeing nothing, Rez heads towards the market district. Surely he had gotten enough money off of the Seviper trainer to buy one or two pokeballs, and there had to be a pokemon center somewhere if there were so many trainers.
Once reaching it, he found that he was correct on both accounts. He purchased 2 pokeballs with only spare change left and then healed his pokemon, then returned to the urban district to find more trainers.
The battle was rather short, considering the type difference, and the Zubat fell. I returned Sigilyph to it's poke ball, and shook the trainer's hand. I then headed towards the Market to heal my pokemon, and I see several merchant stalls, along with a white building. I walked inside the Pokemon Center and handed Nurse Joy my pokemon. I still wondered how Nurse Joy had so many relatives.

After a few minutes, Nurse Joy came back with my pokemon, and I let out Murkrow. It took roost on my shoulder, and we walked out. "Thanks!" I told Nurse Joy. "Come back any time!" she replied. I then began browsing the marketplace, looking for anything that might interest me.

I looked around and saw a peculiar, black-haired individual. He appeared to be looking for something. So I decided to look and see what he wanted. "Excuse me, are you looking for something?" I asked the black-haired man, waiting for an answer.

Rez turns and sees a silver haired male in his late teens.
"I need quite a bit of things...
I'm new here, so maybe you can help me out...
I'm looking for wild pokemon habitat, a quicker way to train, either team aqua leader Archie or whoever runs this place, a TM Thunder, a specific Litwick and Shuckle, and the person known to most of the world as the pop star Hatsune Miku.
I stood there, baffled at the young man's requests. "Um... yeah... I can help you with at least a couple of those," I said. He was an... unusual one. "First, there aren't many wild pokemon here. You might find some in the water, but other than that we have no specific wild pokemon habitats on the island. For the training, you can look for trainers around the island. There are many trainers here on the island, including me. I am one of the leaders here on the island, and you will not find Archie anywhere here. If you do, tell me. I can't get you a TM for protect, so I can't help you there. For the Litwick and Shuckle, I have no idea. And you're not likely to find any pop stars here, but you never know," I said. "My name's Jordan. If you need anything else, don't be afraid to tell me."

"Are you saying you're a leader and you don't even know where Archie is?"
Rez lost all faith in the rebellion.
"Thanks for your time..."
Rez turned and heads toward the market area. He purchases 3 more pokeballs (to 5) and then heads back towards the docks. After passing through security, he gets on "his" boat and drives away toward Castelia city.
Team rocket and team Plasma were definitely going to be the harder ones to take down. Since owning pokemon is looked down upon in Sinnoh, there were unlikely to be many trainers at all, even amongst the Plasma grunts.
Or maybe they do. I can't imagine ruling a region would be easy without using human-based violence. Why doesn't Cipher own a region? They even invented shadow pokemon. (or rather, me and Lovrina did...) ((also canon that Lovrina was the one who made the shadow pokemon)) It was probably the incompetence of the leaders... that and I made sure shadow pokemon weren't permanent. I hate imperfection, and a shadow pokemon can rarely achieve perfect potential when it was to be made via mass-production.
In any case, Castelia was bound to be absolutely crawling with grunts. Maybe even Giovanni. He hadn't thought of Giovanni for his plan, but he was sure he would easily be able to bribe him off with something he could make. The man is driven by greed after all.
Maybe he should build a human-capturing ball...
That certainly would be useful...
In any case, the parts would probably be easy to find in Castelia.
He hadn't noticed it before, but his boat contained a healing machine. ((makes sense to have it as a home base))
The training battle started between Shadow and the grunt. It was to be a one on one and shadow sent out Dusk and the grunt sent out a seviper. It wasn't a very interesting battle as the Pokemon kept using the same attack. The seviper kept using poison tail wile dusk used return. The grunt decided that was enough to train and returned the seviper to it's poke ball. Shadow said, "Nice training with you." He didn't return dusk to his poke ball and decided to go to the docks and watch the boats with dusk there.
((Could Shadow be a A rank grunt or something, their lower then executive but still is important, since there's only 3 grunt ranks? Also, Rez will probably meet Shadow at the docks.))

((I'm going to assume Seviper is lv 10))
Rez: Shadow Ball
Misdreavus nails Seviper (26/44)
Trainer: Seviper! Poison Tail!
Seviper slaps Misdreavus with a poison tail. (32/38)
Rez: It's not very effective.
Misdreavus, Shadow ball. (8/44)
Trainer: It's a new move... I was hoping for poisoning or a critical hit... ((Poison tail can poison and has increased critical hit rate))
Trainer: Use Bite! (12/38)
Rez: Shadow Ball.
Seviper faints.
Misdreavus leveled up. Misdreavus is now level 11
With that he started heading back the way he came, wondering where the pokemon centers are.

((Let's work that into the story then))
Rez ran into a kind old lady, who handed him 1000 poke for no apparent reason.
Why can't all people be like this.
He continues on, looking for a trainer.
