The fun thing about the Holy Roman Empire is that since the Emperor is an elective position you could get the title of Emperor by making people like you and support you.
Of course, having a lot of power helps... I 'unno how well you'd do owning just a town.
If everyone else is cool with it, we could aim for this Thursday or friday.
One thing is... how do we want to handle the Papacy? In the last K&C, we had it set up where each catholic nation controlled a cardinal, and there was going to be an election after the admin ran Pope died. We can do that if the catholic nations wish to control cardinals and have the ability to become Pope, or we could make it simple and have it where I control the Pope the entire time. We could also have it where every player gets a Cardinal and we just have to make sure that the Orthodox and Muslim players don't connect their Cardinal's to their nations (We don't need no Sunni Popes). I'm fine with any of these approaches, but it is really what the rest of you want to do.
Once I again, I shall re-state the situation in Iberia. The Caliphate of Placeholder (For now) controls the green territory. The remaining Christian kingdoms, Leon, Castile, Aragon and Navarre were all crushed during the Battle of Placeholder in 1223 and are all currently client Kingdoms of the Caliphate.
This has occurred because the Moors, while defeating the Christians, did not have the troops to fully occupy the north. So they installed puppet Kings and occupied all major strategic strong points. Much like the Vikings did in England during their invasion in the 800's.
Anyone looking to play one of those Kingdoms is welcome to do so but much understand they are currently my b***h, pay my taxes, etc. However, that said, you are welcome to plot against me and work to free yourself. I recommend this only for experienced RPer's since novice ones will manage to screw up and I will be forced IC to destroy you and your entire family.
This is partially why I'm taking the Byzantines, because Armenia.
