I put my ID back in the wallet, and put the wallet back in my pants. I then say "777 Camelot way... it's off of Plum." I then hope, dearly that he knows his way around this town. I then think for a second Funny thing is... I don't know where plum is in relation to 4th street... I then sigh, and hope for the best.
I hear footsteps approaching myself and Jordan. At that, for a second, I assume the worst "Oh no... you're here to kill me, aren't you?" I say to the couple.. though, I notice something... off about them. as if they were... shimmering? That's not right, not at all... after all, there's no way those stupid 'vampires' frmo that doubly stupid movie made it into the real world.
"Where exactly is this? I just arrived not even a day ago," I ask him. "Heh heh... I am sorta new here..." I add stating the obvious. "This place is on a GPS, right? If it is, I can use my phone to track it down," I say already pulling it out hoping that there was a location.
"Well, it should be on a GPS... I mean, it's kinda in the..." I say, though, I start to trail off, not wanting to say that it was in the ritzy part of town. He'd probably hate me for that, despite the fact that I'm not rich, my dad just found someone nice enough to rent out their basement to him. I then turn towards the once-human, and say "Well, well... told ya you'd find more of us." I then chuckle a bit, and say "wow we're a weird bunch... she has purple eyes, you have blue hair, and I have brown eyes!" I then notice that my fur seems to shine blue in the light... as in, it's a dark blue color, not full on black, as would be normal.
"What the... Can this place get any weirder?" I say seeing the two newcomers... change. "Maybe New York would have been a better place to start..." I mumble. "Well, I've found the street, so I guess we can move..." I say beginning to walk away.
"Thank you very much, Jordan." I say to Jordan as I follow him. It's kinda funny how he has a better sense of direction in this town... when I've been living here since I was 7! I sigh at that, but continue onwards. It was nice finally having stamina, something I was lacking, gravely, as a human. It's weird, though, I mean, it WAS just an illusion, right? How is it that I now have so much more energy, and so much more stamina? I think as we make a turn, whether it was the right one, or the wrong one, at least I wasn't trying to get us around.
"You live quite a ways from the city, don't ya?" I say to the Zorua. If this is a prank, this city is dead to me I think to myself as I follow the digital map on my Android. "So, Mr. Morris, why are you so far from your home?" I ask trying to make conversation.
"I was going to a doctor's appointment. I was finally going to find the cure for my chronic exhaustion and sleepiness... well, I found it, just not in a way I would have ever expected, and yeah, I do kinda live far away... heh, was planning to use the bus to get back home, but, well, you know." I say to Jordan, probably explaining a bit more than I should have, but it helped pass the time. I then spot a person, well, okay, now he's a Smeargle, but he used to be a person. Luckily for him, though, I guess, he was painting his house when it happened, anyways, so...
"What do you mean by 'we'?" I ask Waskom, curiously, later adding "Pokémon fans aren't considered animals by anyone... sure, kids, by some, but never animals... heh, this coming from a blue fox cub, though." I then chuckle for a moment, trying to make the best of this. Though, I will admit, it is still very nice to not be tired all the time...
Me: Talking about people... they think we are all just stupid animals they can control... at least... from what i have seen... and now we are like this... then again, being able to speak means we have rights i guess...
River: Yeah... i am sure everything will be fine...
*I look left, seeing a man sitting on his front steps, looking at his new form as a lucario.*
I seem a little confused, later adding "Um... no, I mean, by us, as a group... I think that all we share, other than not being human, anymore, it probably a liking to pokémon?" I continue onwards, and see several people with torches running towards the man in his new form... not good that he's now weak to fire, but how'd the people know that?
"Uh... how? I can't do any of that!" I say to the lady Zoroark, later asking "Oh.. and sorry, but what are your names?" I then sit there, feeling useless, as I can't use the illusions that they can, even if I know how to. After all, I got the light to show, as if I was starting to create an illusion... but nothing happened. That sucks, too... after all, that could have fooled that bus driver, easily, and I'd already be home. I think as I accidentally give my version of the puppy-dog eyes.
