Well, I was getting around to it myself (*insert rest of terrible excuse for the shitty articles I made last night even though I ballsed up really badly with them*)
Anyway, sorry about the crappiness, thanks for fixing them; deargodbleasedon'tbanmeHugs.

We did not invent the Algorithm. The Algorithm consistently finds Jesus. The Algorithm killed Jeeves. The Algorithm is banned in China. The Algorithm is from Jersey. The Algorithm constantly finds Jesus. This is not the Algorithm. This is Close.
It has been since time immemorial that man has looked to the stars in wonder, so I ask you, how can going to them be anything but an extension of a will older than any of us? It is our very nature to discover, and to lust for knowledge, you accept this but doubt the nobility of working to the stars?
They're not crappy. If you didn't notice, I didn't change any of what you typed down (because I thought it was fine), all I did was clarify that not all humans used the same specifications for their ships.
Hug in the modern world ships like battlecruisers and battleships ate becoming outdated.
Heavy cruisers, small heavily armed agile ships are far easier to produce and have advantages over nearly every other kind of larger ship.
Most navies are turning to Cruisers, a navy consisting of them and fighters is a smart decision.
Took the god moddy stuff out, sorry didn't intend that.
In a futuristic universe where ships are no longer bound to oceans, classes like Battleships (which are obsolete in real life) will make a return and find new uses. Having a navy of strictly cruisers when you can mix it up is a very dumb move, no offense.
My problem isn't that your navy is only made up of Cruisers, though, I don't care if you make that decision, that's your problem. I'm just a little concerned about you having two whole fleets of cruisers because for all I know, your cruisers are huge, and that'd be way too expensive for a separatist empire only 200 years old.
I'll go over your application again, and although it isn't up to me to accept you, I'm going to throw in an extra few cents. I'm just urging you (and everyone) to be fair. It's not about being the greatest empire, or being better than everyone else. It really irritates me when I try to be fair and then someone comes in with a huge fleet of " the best ships ever ".
Moose, I hope you plan to reformat your cruiser article.
It looks ugly as of right now.
I am curious as to what Hug and Feokris are brewing up content-wise for the wiki. I know Keen has some interesting alter-human* faction in the works, but what about you two?
*This term is for any humans who have branched off from earth humans.
See, I just don't see how it's possible for a faction that broke away from the main human faction to not only have built a freakin' world-wide (on a planet twice the size of Earth even) Empire from the ground up (imagine the amount of building and costs and what-the-****-not, hell, how did they even FUND their Empire-building if they completely broke away from Earth? How could they build an Empire so quick?), but immediately after that they are building freaking carriers!? I don't think so.
It has been since time immemorial that man has looked to the stars in wonder, so I ask you, how can going to them be anything but an extension of a will older than any of us? It is our very nature to discover, and to lust for knowledge, you accept this but doubt the nobility of working to the stars?
You said the surface is riddled with buildings. I took that as world-wide.
Recap: Your Empire resides on a planet twice the size of Earth, and they inhabit only a tiny portion of it. Their buildings are made of scrap metal resembling giant shanty towns, yes?
So people living in shanty towns can somehow afford carriers... eh, I don't know.Your empire must have spent countless amounts of resources and money to build the exodus fleet, and then even more to build cities on the planet they settled in (this is without even counting what they must have gone through to deforest the planet to make it habitable, unless they settled along plains, and without counting what they probably spent in the trip itself).
I'm not sure.
If your ships are small, I wouldn't mind, and even then I'd be a little 'eh' by the fact that they somehow have two fleets.
Mine look like Stargate ships because i sued their image and basic stems, but i added most of what you see on them.
Also hug my empire is hardly planet wide, i have 160 ships and 1060 fighters on them, i have several cities that have yet to overtake even one continent on Valhalla, there are not even a billion people there, just 700 million.
Also hug the Generation ships were torn down and repurposes, many of them had building materials from earth in them. I have cities but they don't look like slums lol, they are nice cities. The economy is mainly mining based as well.
Also on the plains wait till you see what Valhalla looks like.

You know what? Even if the ships are small I'm still going to have to *****. You're talking about these guys having one of the most maneuverable ships in the galaxy, having carriers, having 'booms' in their civilization, and it sounds like they are really well off, when considering what they have gone through recently, they WOULDN'T be well off. Not that well off, at least.
Reasons:
-At various times it feels like you explain to much and at other times it feels like too little is explained. Now I am not saying you need to make anything as long as the zatrai article, but some more elaboration on things would be nice. Like what makes them advanced? I mean a good share of alien races discovered how to transverse the Mini-Dimension, but beyond that nothing really explains what makes them really that advanced. They may just be at the tech level of humans for all I know.
-Typos, I know it may sound a bit nitpicky, but while there are some typos on other articles and wikia doesn't have a spell check, it would make a great deal of sense to search & destroy those typos.
-The way it is organized is a bit off. It just sorta transitions into history without any real way of telling when history starts.
-In general, should be beefed up and worded differently in some areas to make it flow better.
I hope this helps!
I see, it might have been because i was at a rush, either way i will update and probably redo the history
Hug they have had well over a hundred years on a planet that was ENTIRELY new and full of resources, they built and insane amount.
Look at what russia did in 30 years, look at what the US did in 100, its not that hard to believe.
We came to Valhalla with the resources to rebuild, and Hug in space anything can be agile if you give it a sufficient number of air jet engines on the hull.

Perhaps the ships are left over from the exodus?
That would explain why they would need to raid (which they most likely do; they are space vikings!) due to their limited amount of spaceships to get new spaceships and supplies? Perhaps change your planet classification from a eden-class to something less desirable to incite them to want to raid more.
I mean, a splinter faction would resort to desperate measures, right?

You should specify these things. If this is true, you should add it to the article.
First off, sorry for not writing my race into the wiki yet, returned home six hours later than I intended to and I don't think I would be able to make a sensible article.
You might have the same problem with my app as with Moose's, Hug, with my 'empire' being quite advanced in 250 years. My explanation is that a fleet of massive colony ships came with everything needed for quick colonisation so Earth could rape the benefits as fast as possible, and then the goverment used breeding/genetics and other dirty tricks to hasten things up even more.
Also, I think I might have found a scientifically plausible way to make steel up to 1000x times stronger.
And I don't like at all how the ship articles still look like being common for the whole humanity, and my humans will not use anything like that. The "Command ship (human)" names should be changed to something like "Whatever class command ship".
If your justification makes enough sense it should be fine. Marginally dwarven is to blame for that. My guess is that he wanted to add a large database of technology, but I personally think he is biting off more than he can chew and may be too quantity focused.
Atop of that, there is the subjectivity of it as repeatably stated by hug.
Earth humans seriously need to be defined, don't they?
To retroactively clarify and utterly fail to justify an idiotic thing I did; the 'Human' designation was intended to be temporary, and later be replaced by the name of the human empire I'm working on.
Yes, that was my shitty excuse; no, I don't expect you to buy it.

Hug read Valhalla, and after 30 years of building and mining a defence fleet was made, if you really want i can lower it to 60 ships per fleet.
Lol

Oh god how many human empires are we going to have? Space vikings, the unnamed empire Keen is working on and now Dwarven has one too?
What about the earth humans? I already have two alien races of my own to worry about along with the **** loads of star systems and nebulae I will need to make, so I can't really do much with it.
Keen, did they somehow figure out a way to make graphene on steroids?
Also hug already its expected robots will be doing the construction soon, so that makes it go even faster, along with the fact even today my father uses parts of house and bolts them together while framing, everything is prepared. Most of it would be done in 25 years, 30 completes it

I was actually planning on my empire being the actual Earth humans, but I didn't know if they were taken.

No valid reason to ban you, not even close

Its not planet wide, where was this written? The cities have yet to expand beyond one continent, there is only 700 million people on Valhalla.
My ships are tiny ass in comparison to everyone else's, they are 225 meters long and 95 wide
I will introduce something else, but i think to fleets of 80 cruisers would be fine, maybe one battleship.
Also looking at all these other ships i see glaring flaws
Those are the product of dwarven. I had nothing to do with those other than slight fixing like taking out a mass-effect reference.
