Woah... Ok first off, everyone calm down. Secondly, I hate taking sides in these things but, one-liners can be used for good if they are in a certain quality of RPing, but I personally hate them. If it is a causal RP and you just want to keep things moving, go ahead and make one-liners.I want my RPs to have quality story-telling, therefore one line will not suffice. More important than just improving the quality, one-liners make RPs hard to follow. Multiverse (I love your work monster, just using it as an example) is impossibly hard to follow. You can't just jump into it, because the story goes too fast and it gains pages ridiculously fast. Also the real problem with one liners, is while you may know exactly what your character meant to say/do it doesn't mean the others players do. If you were to say "I'll be a little late guys, don't wait for me." They won't know your motives behind it. While an RP is like a book, we also have to keep in mind that there are multiple authors, each with a different plan for it and if what they want isn't carefully done and described in detail, then the RP quickly becomes a train wreck.
Setting the record straight, thanks man.
I once joined montermistresses World Bulding RP, there was definately a great amount of creativity coming from everyone, but my attempts to get everything slowed down and organised so I could understand what was happening was met with heavy resitance, as in people barely slowed at all. Eventually I left because I would leave for maybe most of the day, come back and 10 more pages were up that I would have to read. The character race that I wrote was lost in a sea of fast paced action, and I found that I simply didn't have the time and no longer the inclination to keep up. One liner RPs are really for people with gratuitus amounts of time and energy, while I myself have other things to do with my day than to wait for the next post within the next 5 minutes. Its for that reason that I much more enjoy literate RPs, there's alot less pressure to post quickly, and you can take your time writing your characters responces to scenarios
But seriously, I do agree that one-liners threads for people with energy: this means they should be moved to forum games, because it's more like a game. Or anyther sub-forum would be awesome too.
Also everyone check out DrNightKOT's new RP, for those wanting Omni, I think it will quench your thirst.
Don't forget I'm working my own "Omni-esque" RP guys. Though from what I've seen of DrNights latest project in comparison I will tell you that mine won't involve a "collision" of worlds, rather characters pulled into one persistent world. Also there won't be any canon characters, only original ones or fanbased. I'll be bringing a sort of D&D campaign format to it, putting n interesting plotlines as well as involving character specific story arc quests. Hopefully I'll get a diverse assortment of PCs (player characters) for this, you know having your fighters, healers etc.

Ahem. Alot may do it.

One liners and Indepth.
Lol sarcasm.
Yep, straightforward, absolutely stupid, post 22:00 (my brain tends to shut itself off at this time) yet effective way.
