Here's my app, this will be my first roleplay so forgive me if I sound like a newbie
Name: Lonadius Gavin
Age: 25
Species: Human
Class: Rogue
Skills: Adept with short-swords and knives, has moderate accuracy with a one-handed crossbow, has plenty of experience in remaining hidden, has eyes like an eagle meaning he can spot things most others can't at first glance.
Appearance: Slightly shorter than most people his age, has short jet black hair, blue eyes, tan skinned(you know in between white and black skin), wears a brown leather clothes and black pants.
Biography: He was born to a wealthy and influential family, up until age 10 he lived a luxurious lifestyle. Then the fateful day came when the southern rebels raided his hometown, they looted all the houses and set them ablaze afterwards. He managed to survive when his parents hid him in the basement, when he emerged all he saw was blood and ash. He lived as a beggar for a while but he soon realized that in order to survive he had to change. After 10 years he had changed completely, he was no longer good-mannered and generous, he had turned into a thief and assassin for hire. He took jobs from many clients and almost always succeeded, rare were the times when he failed a job. His current location is in Bridgton, a client offered him a place to stay temporarily after hist last job.
Roleplay accepting the quest:
Lonadius stood on the balcony of his small wooden cottage, the light breeze of the night caressed his face as he looked into the myriad of stars above. From the way he looked no one would've suspected he was a dangerous man, but he was. He could remember his last assassination as if it we're yesterday, the helpless victim never saw it coming not even his bodyguards were able to prevent his murder, the entry was unnoticed, the kill was silent, the escape was unobstructed. As he pondered over his memories he heard a loud knock on the door, he quickly went back inside and rushed down the stairs. "I'm coming I'm coming" he said as he approached the front door, he opened the door and looked around, "Hello?" he said to no one in particular. Then he noticed a letter on the ground, he opened it and read it's contents.
Dear Mr. Gavin
We have heard of your skills from your various clients and we believe that we could use a man like you in a certain "job" we need done. A rebel army is massing in the southern parts of the continent and we are searching for able individuals who can fight against them and eliminate their leader, a man named General Abner. If you wish to accept this request then please head to the Bridgton tavern, there you will find the other people who have accepted our request as well. Keep in mind that if you are successful then a large sum of gold will be bestowed upon you, especially if you can eliminate their leader. your cooperation will be greatly appreciated.
Lonadius skimmed the letter again, and suddenly had a flashback of his childhood. The violence, the cruelty, all because of the southern rebels, they turned him into what he was today. Soon thoughts of vengeance came into his mind and all of it was possible by simply accepting this quest, it was time to pay a visit to the Bridgton pub...
Additional info: His ambition in life is to end his career of killing and make his childhood dream real. When he was a child he wanted to be an explorer, travelling to uncharted lands. He hopes for it to happen, but reality wouldn't let it be so anytime soon
Want to add anything: Nothing much really

Marlin tied Razor to the post outside the tavern mentioned in the letter and proceeded through the door. He took off his helmet and surveyed the custom, it seemed he was the only armoured man in the room, save for a group of guards that look like they had finished their shift and were getting blind drunk.
Marlin's eyes caught some familiar faces in the corner of the room... and a large cat. He walked towards them, helmet under his arm. "Long time, no see, Zeke, James... Is this a... hunting cat of yours James?"

Lonadius walked down the streets of Bridgton and saw the tavern, it had a sign hanging from the roof that said The Loyal. He didn't know much about history but he was sure that name came from the last battle against the south, looking into the pub windows he only saw random drunkards and friends talking Am I in the right place?. He entered through the doors and sat at the bar, he noticed two friends talking and a cat that seemed to be staring at the men. The wench asked what he wanted, "Just a light ale madam" he said as he passed 15 bronze coins. He decided to keep an eye on those men. Soon an Armored figure that looked like a knight entered the pub and spoke with the two men and, strangely enough, the cat as well. The three appeared to be friends, perhaps they were the people he needed to meet? Lonadius decided to introduce himself.

Marlin was taken surprised by the comment, after looking around him to find that the only one that looked like he was communicating him was the cat, Marlin frowned at the creature, it was intelligent and apparently telepathic. Marlin had never been confronted by such a being so he slowly sat down and took a short breath before saying to the cat "either I am a lunatic or I owe you an apology, what's your name?" Suddenly the cat talked again and slashed at James, Marlin flinched and looked to see that James was now bleeding.

[Decided to bring Airi back... Yet she is also different now.

Name;
Airinaisia Solomnel
Age;
25
Species;
p1. Angelican
p2.Forsaken Angelican: An angelican who has tampered with their aura so much they are shunned by most other angelicans they meet. No special powers, just a darker appearance.
Class;
p1. Beast
p2. Phase Magician- A combination of the Beast and Magician classes. Mainly a shapeshifter, yet has forms which are capable of using magic.
Examples:
Transcendence Morph- Sprouts "pure" angel wings:Can use healing magic.
Fallen Angel Morph- Sprouts corrupted angel wings:Can use death magic.
Skills;
Airi bends her aura in order to change her form at her will, while using barely any energy. While this is a form of Beast shapeshifting, Airi has dubber her unique style "Phase Shifting." This is because not only can she turn into animals, but she can also transform her limbs into weapons, as well as her new skill of transforming into humanoid forms which are capable of performing magic. However, these forms take a larger toll on her than her animal ones.
Appearance;
Airi has pale white skin, with heterocromatic blue and silver eyes. However, her silver eye now has a red rune in it.She also has given herself pointed, elf like ears. She has white blonde hair, which has various colors dyed into it, and reaches her upper back. Her hair also has many beads and feathers in it, also of various colors. Her body is etched with many different silver runes which glow intensely before she transforms. She is of average height and weight, yet uses her shapeshifting to make her self look skinnier. She also has given herself a pair of fangs instead of her normal canines, in order to scare off wild animals easier.
For other Angelicans, and people who can see Angelican auras: Her's is no longer a smooth, pure aura. It is now purple and black, and has a wavy appearance to it.
Airi wears a grey binding across her chest, with a pair of bright red pants, and black boots which top off at her ankles, and have large silver buckles. Over this she wears a long black hooded coat which has a large copy of the rune which sits in her silver eye, though, the mark on the coat is silver instead of red. Around each of her wrists, five pieces of long, thin fabric are tied, with each of them having a small bell on the end. She carries no weapons or shields, as her body has the ability to transform into said things. She also now has pierced ears, which are small golden hoops with hawk feathers attached to them.
Biography;
Airi was raised in lands far to the north, in an arctic environment. Her family were all trained in shapeshifting from a young age, gaining their symbolic runes as early as the age of five. For them, shapeshifting was an essential part of life, because without being able to transform into animals, they would never be able to catch food to survive off of. When Airi was ten, however, an exploration team found her and her family, and bound them in magic shackles which prevented them from shapeshifting, and brought them South to be slaves.
Luckily for her family, the man that bought them did so to save them, and allowed them to live with him as guests, instead of as slaves. He released them from the magical shackles, and allowed them all to live normal lives. Airi had somewhat of a crush on this man during her teen years, but knew that nothing would ever work between them as he was just a human. When she was 19, the man was taken away by the guards and executed for helping a child that had been enslaved by some horrible family escape. Airi couldn't take that, and used her powers to kill the guard, only to run away from the city after doing so, unable to deal with what she just did, keeping it a secret from everyone she knew.
A couple of years after running off, she caught sight of Dredge and the other heroes in a weapon shop, and decided to keep an eye on them for a long time, only to finally reveal herself in the middle of a forest. She then decided to join them, and ended up at the camp outside of the area Deepton was hiding out at. The night before they went in, she had an assassination attempt on her life. She was saved by another comrade, but became enraged. This rage led her to discover her ability to transform into various humanoid forms which were capable of magic. She unleashed her plague spell for the first time this day, and due to not being able to control it, passed out as soon as she returned to normal. When she awoke, the battle had ended, and she was in an infirmary.
[C&P, with some editing. :wink.gif:]
What your character did after chapter 1;
After Deepton was killed, Airi went off on her own, never having seen another one of the people, not knowing if they had survived, or all died heroes. However, the one thing she did ensure happened was that every single coin she earned for this went to paying for grand funerals for those who had died. [New]
She began to live in the forests, continually practicing her magic forms until she could somewhat handle them. She continued practicing for years until she finally had a good grasp on what they could do, and of their potential. After two and a half years passed, Airi finally returned to society, yet kept herself hidden when walking about, and didn't talk to anybody but people she bought from. She did this because not only did she not want to end up running into her friends who she abandoned so easily, but also didn't want to be praised for what her uncontrollable magic had caused. Deep down inside, Airi felt guilt for what her magic had done that day... She had completely eradicated the soldiers... Their families didn't even have bodies to mourn over... It is also because of fear of being recognized by those families that Airi has been hiding herself.
Roleplay you accepting this quest;
Airi had just finished purchasing food from the grocer, and was on her way home when two men approached her. They looked somewhat familiar, but, Airi wasn't exactly sure why. Suddenly one reached into his pocket and pulled out a letter. Confused, Airi took it, before running off, hoping they had made a mistake. When she got home, she discovered that it was no mistake. Those men had been in the battle with Deepton, and must have known her appearance very well because they were able to recognize her. The letter WAS in fact addressed to her. Transforming her finger into a knife, Airi cut the seal on the note, and read over it. Sighing she took a bite of an apple, and put the hood of her coat over her head, dropping the apple on the floor behind her, and heading out the door.
'God... I have to be crazy... I said I would never go back to fighting people like that... But... I need to justify my mistake... I need to make it so I can walk around and be myself again!' She thought, transforming into a hawk and flying off towards the Bridgton Pub, perching herself on the roof when she arrived.
Additional info;
Her morphing will take energy out of her, if she does to many different ones at once. Even though she mastered the magic ones, they still can only be used sparingly, and will still knock her unconscious after use.
James felt a light prodding at his leg, and saw that a cat was poking him. James reached down to pet the cat.
Don't take this as there is nothing that could cause sadness. I just mean it's pointless to dwell on it. I mean, depression is so boring.
