Many pass through the ranks of Bloodreign, dead by the hand of it's demented inhabitants. You won't last much longer yourself. Even the best don't live past their tenth or so round. Crowd eats it up though, the blood splattering, the heads rolling, the screams of pain. Charge a pretty penny, but it's worth it. They just can't have enough of the beautiful crimson mist.

Backstory;
You, some way or another, have been "entered" in the famous arena known as Bloodreign. Run by a group of powerful figures, they have begun capturing innocent people to use in their arenas. With a seemingly unlimited amount of fighters, they have brought you along with them for the ride. You will be fighting against everything and anything. Some matches will be over ten people at once killing each other off slowly, some will be two people fighting for first blood. To win ten fights is to win your freedom. Will you be that lucky winner? Or will you die among the hundreds of others, to rot on the blazing sands of an arena floor?
Races;
In this roleplay you may be anything your heart desires. This is loosely based off the Minecraft world though, and the most plentiful races will be the mobs of Minecraft. Submit any race you want, but do not let it be silly. Elaborate on it, make me imagine it clearly. Here is a list of major races for anyone to use. These are not original, I know, but this roleplay is based off the participants. I want YOU to be original, make your own unique character.
Humans, naturally. Skeletons, undead warriors brought to life again. Pigmen, a passive human and pig mix. Zombies, skilled yet slow fighters with augmented defenses and a mean bite. Newts, evolved reptiles who are extremely intelligent. Incubus, embodiments of evil. Humans, yet with crimson skin and sometimes horns.

Arenas;
I'll add these as we get to them.
Our first arena will come in as a secluded flying island, held up by a magnetic stone. It has no name, but is deadly in all ways. Falling off would result in instant death... as well as disqualification. It was to the blood, the first to bleed would have to jump.
The second arena will be a massive 8-10 mile square of biomes. It is mainly four squares, of desert, forest, rainforest, and then a more chilly forest. Based off the hunger games, it is mainly a survival to the death course where anything goes.
Current arena rankings!
1. Goddess of Death
2. Garhuth
3. Syyrek
4. Zeke
5. Levin
6. Lilia
7. Tomas
8. Unnamed Incubus
9. Earle
Death board;
George, a simpleton destroyed by an even simpler trap. Boulders have brought his death, breaking his legs and crushing him. His final moments were shared in a cave.
Lotus, one of the arena's best brought down by natural elements. Sand and cacti tore him to pieces, leaving his corpses bits strewn across the desert.
Ziss, uh... I don't know. I was inactive at the beach. Let's just say a giant cobra ate his head. And he exploded. Seems nice enough.

My application;
Name; "Lotus"
Age; No one knows, nor does anyone care.
Species; Newt.
Skills; Lotus is a fighter by nature. Years of being pushed around brings him to extreme anger and frustration. He is also a survivor, as he lived by himself for incredibly long amounts of time at different periods. Although a perfect fighter, he suffers from extreme emotional bouts, sometimes disabling him to a babbling crybaby.
Appearance;
Standing almost nine feet tall, Lotus is a rather advanced Newt. His face is scaled and green, the only exposed part of his body. Two long tentacle like lips hang from his mouth, sometimes twitching. An advanced suit of metal and steel clothes the rest of his body, melded to his body perfectly. Long but thin arms stretch out to hold a spear, sometimes doubling as a walking stick. It is double pronged, for twice the pain.
Biography;
Leading a relatively boring life, Lotus wasn't fond of his parents. They held him back, didn't let him have any fun. Simply enough, he ran off. With nothing to his name, he fought that back by tough work and determination. He took whatever job went to him, be it clearing someone's basement of monstrous rats or plowing fields. Through this he bought the gear he has now, as well as his weapon.
Moving from town to town has brought him experience in mostly everything, and after years of doing so he has earned a full set of equipment for the more aggressive fighting jobs.
Living in the forest by himself for a short amount of time, he has found more of a natural ability to cope. As he was tending to his small garden of sorts on a summer day, he was met with a swift hand and a clash of wood. Within moments he was taken into a carriage and strung off, unconscious. He awakens in a compound with hundreds of others in a jail cell.

Skills; George can, well, farm. He was never a fighter, but had a little experience fighting off the occasional bandit, and the all-too-common bar-fight. That's about all he can do. Unless making bread is useful when people are coming at you with swords.
Appearance; George is a commoner, with simple garments, no armor. His hair is brown and short, in a mullet. He also has a stubble. Physically, he isn't a powerhouse, but he is strong, weighing 220 pounds at 6'4, he is also some-what muscular, from all the hard farm-work.
Biography; Dude, he is a boring ol' farmer. Not much to talk about, really. But, since I have to go into detail: George was raised by simple parents, with a simple, farmer-like childhood. His family was always poor, so he never got a good education. He is currently married to the lovely Janine Clamen, and has 2 kids, one being 7, the other being 4, both boys. George is generally kind hearted, but easily aggravated, which led to quite a lot of tavern fights, even though he was drunk in only half of them.
Additional info; His favorite food is pumpkin pie. Yum.

I decided this time to go with a normal civilian of a character. Like most of the people you'd fight in the arena.
I'm always happy just 'cause there isn't a reason to be sad.
Don't take this as there is nothing that could cause sadness. I just mean it's pointless to dwell on it. I mean, depression is so boring.
[Hell yes. Count me in on this one too, Absolete.]
[Im doing the first few categories in 1st person, if that's okay with ye.]

Name: "Insolent mortal. I am Syyrek."
Age: "You need not know how long I've tortured mortals such as you."
Race: "Can you not tell from my blood-red skin? I am of the superior Incubus."
Skills: "I am an avid and highly capable magic user. I specialize in offensive and torturous spells that makes my enemies want to tear their own flesh from their bones. I prefer to avoid close-quarter combat."
[End first person]
Appearance: Syyrek has the classic skintone of the Incubus, just a shade darker than most. His eyes have no color, only snow white. His slick, straight, shoulder-length black hair falls over his eyes, for he has no horns, unlike alot of the Incubus. His arms are carved with runes of power, which certain ones glow when he casts certain spells. He wears a simple black robe, trimmed with red, that reaches his feet. He wears no boots or shoes, exposing his claw-like feet, which he uses in rare times of handtohand combat.
Biography: Syyrek came into existance to a lowly Incubus family. He never felt any attachment to them; he hated them for their poverty and for their not being noble. As soon as he could, he left them, going into apprenticeship under a Mage of his city, becoming one of the mage's best students. Syyrek was perusing the Mage's library, when he found a book, full of spells that tore enemies apart. He immediately demanded that the Mage teach him these spells. The Mage refused, and when Syyrek threatened him, the Mage soundly beat him in a magic duel and expelled him from his school. Little did the mage know, Syyrek had hidden the tome, and took it with him out of his city. He had wandered the world, and had heard about a competition called "Bloodreign". He immediately ventured to Bloodreign, and now awaits for his time to shine.
Additional Info: Is a secret admirer of human society, but loaths to admit it.
Want me to add anything?: Maybe a little explanation on how it'll work, maybe? Otherwise, good RP.
Dear Stingray. According to Absolete, I was told this was going to be a bit of a mix of Hunger Games and Death Race. Basically there will be a bunch of different kinds of arenas. To the Death, To the blood, Hunger Games-esque matches, etc. He told me not to get attatched to your characters, as they will die sooner or later.

[Yay! I get to play the main character! 8D]
Name;
The Goddess of Death
Age;
239
Species;
Elf (Shouldn't need description.)
Skills;
TGoD is extremely agile and quick, as well as a master at acrobatics. She uses magic in conjunction with melee combat and acrobatics to keep the crowd, as well as her opponent, on their toes the entire match. She has played around with her magic and acrobatics enough to create signature "Finishing Moves" which she always will use at the end of a match to ensure that there is nothing left of her opponent but a puddle of blood, and crushed bones.
Appearance;
She has tanned skin, stands at 5'9", and weighs 120 lbs. She has purple-ish grey eyes, and long, flowing blonde hair. She wears minimal armor, which is gold with green and black trim. She also carries a large shield which deflects magic that hits it back at the caster, as well as an enchanted war glaive, which is bladed on both sides.
Biography;
TGoD was born in a large jungle, ruled by elves. She always got into fights with the boys, and never was considered a "Normal" girl. She loved warfare, and was intrigued with the elven army. The only girlish trait she really had was her love for flowers and nature, which is what lead her to take up learning nature magic.
Around the time she was 140, TGoD was a skilled warrior of the local army, as well as a master of nature magic. Even before the arena, she was referred to as The Goddess of Death by her enemies, who would drop their arms the second she arrived on the battlefield. After the general of the army died in battle, it was a unanimous decision that TGoD would be the next leader of the army, a position she gladly took up.
On her 200th birthday, TGoD was told about Bloodreign arena, and, along with her top 5 soldiers, ventured off to go find and join. She worked her way up from the bottom of the bracket, never losing a single fight, and even killing off her own soldiers who came with her without any signs of remorse. After seven years, she was given the title of the Arena Master, and only would fight the best of the best, refusing to even spend time fighting people who hadn't chalked up 1000 kills in the arena. She was given a throne of sorts, and attends every single match, observing each battle personally, studying each combatant in order to learn the skills of those whom she may fight against later on. TGoD also is in charge of the gambling ring, having combatants bet weapons and armor on who will win rounds, as well as promising each winner a kiss, which gets the community riled up each match.
Additional info;
The Goddess of Death is the current arena champion, and the top fighter to defeat, as well as the fan favorite to win every match. Known by all entering the arena. She has won over 10'000 matches. She also refuses to let other elves step foot in "her" arena, and, even if they are of the lowest ranks, will slaughter them before they even get to fight somebody of their own skill level.
Want me to add anything;
A Colosseum bracket. Keep track of who the top characters are. AKA, an arena king chart.
Name: Garhuth. His tribe isn't large enough to need last names.
Age: 36
Species: Garhuth is an 'evolved' human tribesman from a tropic forest in the south. He is human in every way, but he has six arms.
Skills: Garhuth was heavily trained to be a swordsman with all six of his arms. He can effectively use all six of them to wield blades. He was also trained in martial arts, so if he loses one, or all, or in between, he can use his bulky fists to punch. He also has enhanced smell, so he can find someone hiding from afar.
Appearance: Garhuth is incredibly large for a human. Topping at seven feet and weighing two hundred and eighty pounds, he is bulky and all muscle. His six arms are trained to the peak, muscled but still agile. Garhuth is missing an eye, and the eyelids have been crudely sewn together. His other eye is normal and brown, but seems small compared to his large, square face. His mouth is a large line, and his nose is thick and wide, pointing upwards slightly. You could almost call it a pig nose. His skin tone is very tan for growing up in a rain forest, and his hair is long and black, landing past his shoulders. He has a long beard, as well. He has a strange lack of body hair, however. Clothes-wise, he wears a pair of boxing shorts, supplied from the prison as his small belt with leather covering only the most inappropriate of areas was unsuited for the arena. He has size thirteen feet, and muscled legs.
Biography: Garhuth was raised in a small tribe to the south, a forest that was mostly untouched by civilized human needs. They were a tribe of warriors, considered savages from the people who heard the stories. Their small tribe had a prophecy, that the six-armed baby would take over as leader before he even takes the test of manhood. Because of this, the previous leader attempted to poison him when he was born - but Garhuth wouldn't drink it. He somehow knew that it was poison, and wouldn't go near it. Later on, it was discovered it was his enhanced smell.
His father was an acclaimed swordsman of the group. The tribe didn't have access to metals, but the trees could be forged in such a way that they are as strong, if not stronger, than steel. His father taught Garhuth his ways, and he was well trained and could wield a sword with four of his arms by the time he was eight. When he was ten, he had full control of all of them. Feeling brave, he took on the leader - and won.
The leader was devastated to have lost to a child. He left the forest, and never returned.
Garhuth ruled well, with his father as his advisor. He took on any rival tribes and always won. He grew older, also growing stronger and more intelligent. However, there was a problem. A civilized force was moving down the forest, tearing down every tree they saw.
Garhuth woke one day to screaming. His entire tribe was being attacked - slaughtered - raped - killed. He went into a fit of rage, slashing and killing any man who challenged him. He was eventually caught by ten men, all tackling him at the same time. The leader approached him, muttering one thing.
"You would be great in Bloodreign." He chuckled, and they took him away.
He spent the next while in solitary confinement. Waiting for his debut as a fighter, waiting to prove his strength. Waiting to escape, and rebuild his tribe.
Additional info: I'd prefer to have him stick around awhile.
Attempting to take all of his swords away would throw him into a fit of rage. That is why the prison always lets him keep at least two long swords when he is stuck in solitary confinement.
Want me to add anything: Not much. #!#
Syyrek floated up from over the side of the floating island, and landed softly, his clawed feet scraping the compacted dirt. He looked around, and noticed that he was the first to arrive. He promptly sat on the ground, cross-legged, and began to wakefully meditate, generating power and energy for the battle, and conserving the rest. After a few minutes, black tendrils of energy began to flow from his hands and arms, whipping and moving as if it was fire. But, still Syyrek sat, staring at the opposite side of the arena, biding his time.

Garhuth cracked his knuckles. All six of them. On his back, six Glehy-tree swords are tied. Drawing them, his imposing figure was fully armed. It was time to kick some ass.
He didn't know who any of these people were. He didn't know that the elven women near him was the champion of the arena who could easily kill all of them, but he didn't care. If it were too the blood, nothing bad would happen. However, his limits of this language meant he missed a lot of things, including the intel of the fight. He didn't know anything of his opponents, just the type of battle he was in.
A free for all, to the blood.
It was time to get crazy.
Leaping out of the prison hold, hovering at least twenty feet from the stadium, he landed on his feet, perfectly fine. It was a small drop - he had bounded from a hundred foot trees with no problem.
"Me... Fight you, red man."
** Jum is outta this fight, sadly. Since he's sleeping. **
Staring at the group, Lotus stood completely still. He glances between them all. "It's a free for all, demonspawn. No singular fights." Knowing they would all soon fight, he draws his double pronged spear, planting it into the ground in front of him. Crossing his arms, he continues staring at the group. He had been there the whole time, beside the tree, unbeknownst to Syyrek.
"Arms... Come in handy, den." He mumbled. Three of his arms pointed at the new-comer, and the other three and the red-man. His Glehy-wood swords glinted - they had a metallic shine to them. They Glehy-wood trees were practically living metals themselves, and allowed for weapon-crafting without mining. Garhuth spat, and leaned into a fighting stance.

BUT. If you two want, you can have the first duel on that floating island in the start of the thread.
Name;
The Goddess of Death
Age;
239
Species;
Elf (Shouldn't need description.)
Skills;
Appearance;
Biography;
Additional info;
Want me to add anything;
A Colosseum bracket. Keep track of who the top characters are. AKA, an arena king chart.

OKAY GUYS. Absolete says I'm a mod. So I'm accepting myself.

~DED
Staring at the group, Lotus stood completely still. He glances between them all. "It's a free for all, demonspawn. No singular fights." Knowing they would all soon fight, he draws his double pronged spear, planting it into the ground in front of him. Crossing his arms, he continues staring at the group. He had been there the whole time, beside the tree, unbeknownst to Syyrek.
He began to laugh.
"Hahahahaaa. Humankind at it's worst. Large, brutish, and incredibly stupid. And, apparently, make their faulted children into leaders. What rubbish."
Syyrek mentally began an incantation, just in case this one decided to attack early.
[EDIT]
Syyrek looked over his shoulder to see who the brute was talking to.
"Bah, a newt. Only worth is for making potions and the like."
Even still, Syyrek shifted his stance so he had both fighters in his field of view.
