Name; James Kri (Pronounced "cry")
Age; 24
Species; Boring ol' Human.
Class; Rogue.
Skills; James tends to be very good with a bow, but can use a sword with some skill. Magic-wise, he always found it hard to remember phrases, so he knows practically no magic. Having lived in the forest, he knows some herbal remedies for simple stuff, like a small wound, but he isn't as good as a cleric in this regard. He is also quite a fast runner, and resourceful.
Appearance; 6-foot even, slightly thin frame. Short, black hair. Hazel eyes. Caucasian. He wears a dark brown short-sleeve shirt made of wool that he stitched himself, the same for his pants. His shoes are leather moccosains (or however you spell them) that he bought at a store awhile ago.
Biography; James lived a relatively boring life growing up, hunting in the woods with his father for food and money. This is also where he learned his bow skills. At age 17, while out hunting, his father successfully shot some pig that was wandering about. When he went to claim his kill, an unknown ghoul came out and said he was trying to herd it back to his den, claiming it was his farm animal. James's father tried to apologize, but the ghoul, out of anger, slashed James's father in half with the shortsword the ghoul kept in a belt.
At this point, James ran as fast as he could the 3 miles back to his house. As far as he knew, the ghoul didn't keep chase, but he ran anyway. After this, he lived with his mother, both bearing a hatred of ghouls from then on.
Later in James's life, when he was 20, he decided to move away from his mother. He tried the city, but found it too noisy, so he settled in the forest, where he picked up his dad's profession of hunting animals for food and money.
Additional info; He also knows a bunch about wilderness survival, and other pointless skills. (like sewing)

Accepted. We'll regroup whenever. We won't stray too far until everyone gets together, do a little bit of freelancing until all groups find eachother.
No, I meant, did we (our characters) know each other before coming here, or not?

Skills; Taking up the practice of magic at a young age, Muriel is able to willfully control her aura; to extend and contract it, strengthen it, and even change its color, allowing her to use a spectrum of different properties to perform different spells, ranging from element based attacks to hexes to summons. However, because the aura is directly linked to her body, no spell can be used for long or in succession, and countered spells have a direct physical toll on her body.
Appearance; Muriel has dark skin and silver white hair, with striking green eyes to complete a bizarre appearance. She chooses, however, to hide her face with a velvet cloth, covering her head like a face mask and wrapping all the way down her body in a winding nature, ending in a flowing dress. Sandals are her footwear of choice, traveling as much as she does, and bracelets of gold adorn her wrists. She appears almost gypsy-like.
Biography; She grew up in a particularly biased neighborhood of humans, who had an extreme distaste for her kind; who appeared human, but certainly were not. Believing that she thought herself greater than humans, Muriel and her family were constantly harassed, and even attacked by the humans. Determined to exact vengeance, Muriel dedicated herself to the study of magic early on, attending schools and excelling in the art alongside her attackers. Her prowess caught the attention of many, and she had earned herself two tutors in the magic arts, one human, and one Angelican. It was from her Angelican Master that she learned the full capabilities of her aura, controlled with a clear and focused mind. While she had originally planed to use this power against her enemies, her human master taught her positive, "white magic" practices, if you will, and this in turn allowed her to see the positive potential in humans. Deterred from her wrathful goals, she instead decided to search for an take on an apprentice of her own, yearning to teach others as ehr Masters taught her. In order to raise the funds to do so, she began taking on assignments and bounties that others might not qualify to uptake. This marked the beginning of her journeys far and wide as a teacher and magician for hire.
Additional info; Her willingness to apply her magical skills to any job willing to pay high enough has earned her a reputation of hatred among the magician community, especially those of human descent.
Want me to add anything; It seems almost every RP lacks a part in the application for the applicant to expand on their characters personality traits, which helps applicants create a more in-depth characters that they can Roleplay more efficiently and creatively. But other than that...nada. :biggrin.gif:!
well...maybe you could tell us what kind of time period we're RPing in...so I know whether or not to expect to be shot at with bullets or arrows >.<
Class; Shapeshifter [Using this term since it sounds more majestic... Which, in turn, sounds more Angelic. xD]
Skills; Airi contorts and bends her aura to change into any form her mind chooses, whether it be some ancient creature, a house cat, or even a fly. She also usually morphs her aura to include a pair of wings on her back, while keeping her humanoid appearance.
Appearance; Airi has pale white skin, with heterocromatic blue and silver eyes, and white blonde hair which falls down to her mid-back. Her body is etched with many different runes, color codes based on where it it located on her body, and she is quite skinny. She wears plenty of golden jewelry on her wrist, ankles, and neck, but wears no rings and has no piercings. Due to being a shapeshifter, she wears a simple white robe which can be removed and easily transported when she changes forms, and no shoes. Her aura is a pure white, with a tint of gold around the edges.
Biography; Airi was raised in lands far to the north, in an arctic environment. Her family were all trained in shapeshifting from a young age, gaining their symbolic runes as early as the age of five. For them, shapeshifting was an essential part of life, because without being able to transform into animals, they would never be able to catch food to survive off of. When Airi was ten, however, an exploration team found her and her family, and bound them in magic shackles which prevented them from shapeshifting, and brought them South to be slaves.
Luckily for her family, the man that bought them did so to save them, and allowed them to live with him as guests, instead of as slaves. He released them from the magical shackles, and allowed them all to live normal lives. Airi had somewhat of a crush on this man during her teen years, but knew that nothing would ever work between them as he was just a human. When she was 19, the man was taken away by the guards and executed for helping a child that had been enslaved by some horrible family escape. Airi couldn't take that, and used her powers to kill the guard, only to run away from the city after doing so, unable to deal with what she just did, keeping it a secret from everyone she knows. She now lives in Bridgton, working as a dancer by day, and taking on assassination jobs by night. She no longer minds dirtying her hands with blood, all because of what she did to that guard two years ago.
Additional info; Nobody knows she is an assassin due to the fact that she takes on a different form each time she does a job, and gets laughed at each time she asks to join the military or mercenary guilds, due to her weaker appearance.

Age; 23
Species; Human
Class; Magician
Skills; After being born and raised in a society of almost all Angelicans, he learned and memorized a somewhat large inner library of spells, most of them based around on the four elements. He is not incredibly fast due to his right foot being made of wood, but he is good at climbing and can lift himself with spells controlling wind or moving objects. Unfortunately he is not very skilled at sword fighting or archery.

At the age of 18 he was sent by his trainer to the secret temple of magic in the south to receive a weapon that was mystically formed for him and by the spirits of the world . What he got was an iron gauntlet that focuses' his magic powers like a staff and gives him more strength. Soon after graduating from his teacher he traveled to the city to learn more magic. On the way to the city he stayed almost a week in a small town and became acquainted to all the towns folk before the town was raided by rebels and he lost his right foot (later to replace it with a wooden one), solidifying has hatred for the ruthless rebels.
Additional info; He is charismatic and good with people, often quickly getting on people's good sides.

Name; Drake 'Winterfire' Vazquez Age; 23 Species; Human (I know, boring, nothing special average human, well quite above a normal human) Class; Rouge, an self-learned assassin, mercenary (nothing more to say about this) Skills; He's been training with sword and knifes since he was 7 years old, and is a master at both melee and hand to hand combat. His stamina and speed is also at the top. He can avoid to be seen when he wishes but its not his best ability. Climbing falls natural for him as he sometimes needs to climb to get to his targets.
Appearance;
With blood red hair he's easy to spot in a crowd, it was because of his red hair he got the name Drake after the mythical giant lizard like creature called a dragon. His eyes are shiny brown and always restless looking for dangers. Nobody (except himself) knows who the rest of his face looks since he always wears his mask, and his ears are always covered by his hair.
As he has been training almost his whole life his body shows the result of the training, he is not someone you would like to end up in a fight with. The training and him starting to fight at a very young age have had a high price, both his chest and back have big deep scars.
He has a tight suit with belts around his arms and legs. His coat is all light brown leather with straps on the upper body making sure it sits tight, the straps on the lower part are just for decoration. He has two custom made short blades of the finest steel money can buy, as well as a one-handed long katana on his back (not on picture but I wanted one) While traveling he wears a thick gray coat with wolf skin around the neck.
Biography; Drake was born in one of the coldest winters in centuries, far far in the north where the summer only lasts for a short while. This year, the year he was born there was no summer at all. And living in this cold place, he have grown a resistance to clod whether. In the entrance door was a body, half crushed by a big log witch must have felt from the roof. When the fires had died out, Drake decided to take a closer look and discovered that the body in the doorway was his father, just inside he saw three other bodies, his mother and little sisters.
A year later, at his fifteenth birthday Drake decided to become an adventurer, a mercenary working as an assassin. His travels led him south towards Bridgton.
Due to the loss of his family and living on his own for nine years, he finds it hard to properly trust other humans and even harder to trust other species. He has also grown quite arrogant and can easily get on other peoples nerves, even though Drake is still a good person. Dredge walked up to the bar's main counter. Slamming a silver coin onto the counter, he demanded a pint of the tavern's finest wine. As it was thrown to him, he caught it and chugged. A man behind the ghoul threw a bottle of beer at Dredge's head. It exploded into tiny glass shards against the back of his red, nasty head, it's raw flesh and muscles exposed from years of decomposing as a ghoul. Turning, the ghoul simply smiled.
"Thank you for being the first death of the day. I simply love drunkards." Turning to the side, in a single swipe Dredge had a chair into his hands. Throwing it overhand to the man and his group sitting around a table, it destroyed the table and left one on the ground. All of them rose at the same time, directly into Dredge's sickle. It tore into a man's throat, blood gushing over Dredge. "You ****er, I just washed my armor last week!"
Kicking into the man's chest, it ripped out yet another chunk of flesh before he fell, dead. Two others filled his place, wielding knives. They were common kitchen knives, and Dredge laughed. "Where did you get those knives, your mother's kitchen?"
Their knives both lunged at the same time, sinking it Dredge's flesh. He did not move, as ghouls do not feel pain until they die. "Very nice moves, you two." Ripping one out, he threw it at the owner before slashing the others cheek. Exploding outwards, his whole cheek was left a mess of blood and flesh. He fell, screaming in terror and pain. Dredge simply continued drinking at the bar, no one coming to help the dieing men. A few moments later the barmaid went over to clean the table and drag out the fallen men.
Herk entered a run down inn, his eyes going wide at the sight before him. A barmaid was dragging a man's body away, leaving a gory trail of blood following the corpse. Herk simply shrugged, and plopped himself down on a bar stool, his head barely reaching the counter. He put a coin on it's wooden surface, ordering a beer. Waiting for his drink to come, he glanced at the injured ghoul sitting beside him.
"Hello there, strange one," he said, his snout stretching in to what appeared to be a smile." You are wounded. May I interest you in a healing potion?" he asked, already reaching for the jars of potions hanging inside is potato sack cloak.

"Hello there, strange one," he said, his snout stretching in to what appeared to be a smile." You are wounded. May I interest you in a healing potion?" he asked, already reaching for the jars of potions hanging inside is potato sack cloak.
