((I agree with Absolete. I want humans :tongue.gif: And I like my character xD a cheerful one ( OR i think it is ) And right now, I am looking at the poll, NO = 4 , YES = 1. Four against One will win I am guessing.)) (( No offence to the person who voted yes :/ ))
EDIT: Can we continue? xD I am dying to say something.
( Yeah, the vote can be considered finished, almost. But I really don't see the difference. Others races are around, except now they would be playable. I really fail to see what would make playing as them sooo horrible when they would still exist. I find it more strange that all the main characters are human. ))
[How about this. We continue from where we are, and the human city gets founded by humans, and later on, if people still want to join once the city is up and running, people can play as other races. Simple enough. With this, I use my magical powers to declare this RP open again! :ohmy.gif:]
"Oh, so uh... can we go meet him? I'm not one to run to conclusions, but I see no civilization. We're three people. Possibly more. If we band together, we make civilization. Y'know?" Grinning, Austin nodded to the man, still looking around.
(( Okay so correct me if I am wrong. I am walking with Neil. Absolete and Sting are beside the river.. and Feokris is following me and Neil? And Feokris' camp is out in the open? ))

Name: Kote
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Appearance: Kote's appearance is quite an odd one. His black hair is kept untidy and long(Chin length) and his eyes are a hard, sapphire blue. He is rather pale, spending most of his time indoors. His nose is sharp and angular, and his lips show many laugh lines, proof of how many times he flashes his smile. He is missing his right, top molar, and he has a canine made of silver on his left row of teeth. He has a thin, short scar across the bridge of his nose, marring his otherwise unblemished face. For clothes he wears a black cloth shirt, tucked into his black linen pants. These are tucked into black shoes made of soft leather, with hard, tanned cow hide for the soles. His only other piece of 'clothing' is a necklace, holding a small sliver of iron, a reminder of his past.
Personality: Kote, being the innkeeper he is, is constantly friendly, always making sure his patrons are well taken care of. He sings and dances when his customers do, and he is,overall, one of the most like people in the town(?). In isolation, however, Kote is a quiet, subdued individual, always reading a book or reminiscing about his past deeds. He loves literature and story telling, and has tried his hand at scribing. To all, he is known as a man of great kindness and hospitality, willing to give you a mug of ale for only a new story in return.
Skills: Kote is rather average, his only real skill his sword fighting and his gentle kindness.
Equipment: Kote has only his clothes, and his assortment of books, which total up to about fifty two. He also carries his short sword Moonlight in it's pitch black scabbard.
Bio: Before the innkeeper known as Kote, came the mercenary Skhalli. A warrior born in a bandit camp deep in the woods, Kote was taught how to fight at an early age by the motley assortment of thieves, pickpockets, and mercenaries. However, his true skill was taught by a grizzled old man named Ben, a veteran of a brief, bloody battle. He was the one who took Skhalli under his wing, teaching him all he knew of the way of the sword, until Skhalli was able to best his teacher. When this happened, Skhalli was inducted in to the inner ranks of the bandit group; No one had ever beaten old Ben. So it was, that Skhalli presented himself as a mercenary, selling his services to the highest bidder, along side his his teacher, turned friend, Ben. They fought in many minor skirmishes, earning their share of wealth, until a true challenge arose.
Skhalli, as well as Ben, was hired to journey in to a mysterious cave, hunting the monsters that inhabited it, so that the miners could make use of it. Skhalli accepted, and together he and Old Ben proceeded in to the cave, along with other mercenaries who had answered the job. Skhalli defeated many of the Fiends of Darkness, until he came across his most difficult challenge. Below a hole in the cave, Skhalli faced a creature neither man, nor pig. It carried in it's hand a blunt, notched sword, and it's eyes shown with monstrous intelligence. They battled there, underneath the moon light, the Pigman swinging it's club with deadly force, Skhalli retaliating with fast jabs that always seemed to find it's opponents weak spots. Eventually, the Pigman was brought low, it's wounds to great. Skhalli cut through his enemy's neck, severing the head, and showering the blood in to the air. There, the mercenaries who had witnessed the fight, christened the blade Moonlight, in honor of the duel under the moon.
Continuing, Skhalli and the rest of the mercenaries swept through the cave, killing any monster they saw with vicious efficiency. When the fight was over, the group gathered, and raised the last torch, together plunging it into the ground. The cave was illuminated. Them, the bodies of the fallen. And a creeper. It exploded with the force of a bomb, disintegrating some, horribly mutilating others. Skhalli was left alive, the press of bodies shielding him from the blast. But he was the only one. All around him lay the dead or the dieing, and he searched for one face in particular. That was all he found; the head of Old Ben, separated from his body in the forceful explosion. Skhalli wept that day, and emerged from the cave covered in blood and gore, carrying only his sword and the head of Ben. The rich Duke who had hired the group stared in horror; He fell to his knees in forgiveness, and gave his entire purse to Skhalli. Skhalli, in return, dropped the head of Ben in front of the terrified Duke, and fled in to the woods.
Years passed, Skhalli had gone from place to place, living in the forest, to inn's to apartments. He found no joy in his life anymore. Not with the sights he had seen. Until he came across small group of tents, in a heavily wooded forest, already in the process of being cut down. He purchased materials for a small inn, paying for wood and other materials with his large amount of money. From then on, Skhalli vowed to start a new life, naming himself Kote and becoming a kind, polite, and friendly man to all. In his solitude, to distract him from his past, he learned to read, and became fascinated by literature. He led a normal, happy life, yet he still kept the remnants from his past; The sword,Moonlight. Now he goes about, tending to all travelers and townsfolk .
One Liner: Kote, the kind, friendly (yet to be) innkeeper.

As Vincent hurried along with the scientist-looking chap, it looked to him that he was going even faster. Eventually Vincent stopped, and said 'Well I have to go now, and collect some flowers'. It really felt awkward but at least he felt more better to leave him be. So he ran to the nearest forest and entered.
Vincent walked to where the nearest apple tree was in the forest. He had found that there were apples on the floor. So he picked a bunch and put it in his bag beside him. 'Dandelions... Where in the world are they?' he said, as he looked around him...
[Awkbird... Am I tired again, and did I just miss the apple in your biography..? :wink.gif:]
Collin, being left by the other two, walked back to continue setting up his tent. 'Already starting to gather people here... Hopefully they all have skills... That one guy is a scientist... Dunno about the other one... Thinks I look familiar though... That's a bit strange...' Collin thought, bending over to finish his tent.

(( I am so sorry... But I edited my post. Just sayin'. ))
Vincent went outside the forest, into the open clearing. He opened his bag and now it was dirty, due to the apples. 'Darn it! I have to wash it in the river' Vincent said. He wants to be clean and neat most of the time, so he took the apples out and headed for the river. As he walked, Vincent breathes deeply for no reason at all, but he smelt worms. He looked down at the bright red apples he was holding, finding an enormous amount of worms crawling on it. Vincent ran as fast as he could to the river, trying to keep the worms out of his sight. Vincent hates worms..
Finally he arrived. He holds the apples firmly, and put it in the river. 'Ahh that felt better' he sighed, still holding the apples in the water river.
[There really should be no buildings in the area yet... That's why we needed a construction worker before starting. xD It really is just one tent right now... xD and... It's fine, you're in... At least you mentioned it. =p Both of you are accepted.]
