[I warned you Feokris, now we are in two times. I am just assuming you stayed in a guest bedroom and slept in late from all the drinking.]
"Wherever the hell I feel like and now," he said, standing up and slipping his jacket on. "We are going to get more of the crew though, so be prepared to walk a bit. Oh, let me go get my arm candy real quick." he said, stepping out of the room and heading to Sasha's temporary quarters. He rapped upon the door softly, saying "Hey Sasha honey, wake up, I am taking you out to lunch."
Meanwhile, the beautiful Meghan continued to flirt with William, as she was instructed to. "So, what do you do for a living eh? You must be something real special to work for Scott," she said, the words not spewing, but softly flowing from her mouth. She licked her lips a bit and flopped onto the black leather chair, her legs flying into the air for a moment before crossing themselves neatly and folding over the arm of the chair.
"Well, then, I will lead you there, then you may go about your way. Come," said Ulrich, fishing the price of the meal out of his pocket and handing it to Eli on the way out. He and Cole walked past the town square, past the bakery/tavern, and arrived at Ulrich's home.
"Here we are. Now, if you cant remember where it is, find the town square, and head towards the tavern over there, then keep following Main Street, alright?" he said, pointing to the appropriate places, "Now, I have to get going, so meet me back here at four. I will see you soon, friend."

William was amazed by the dexterity ((Did I use that right?)) of Meghan. "Well, you see, I was the apprentice of a world famous carpenter. He made all sorts of things, boats, houses, you name it, anything wood, he probably at least designed it." William slowly inched his arm around Meghan. "I've learned some of his tricks, like being able to measure anything, at all, anywhere and anytime. A useful skill, if I say so myself." Crap. It's been a while since I've flirted with a woman. I've completely given up on women. William thought to himself. He smiled at Meghan. "Though, I normally don't do many jobs anymore. I've gotten plenty of gold from when I was an apprentice." Well, more so his small fortune was put in my hands when he died. though William didn't say that.
[Hey, everyone. I have an idea. (I hope this is okay with you Grandtree.) How about if we ever introduce a NPC, we control them, unless given permission by the introducer. (Sorry for misspellings, the format on the forums is really bad. D:)
[Yes, you used dexterity correctly, and your idea is kind of an unspoken rule, so yes, I agree. I wonder where Feokris is, we rather need her for the next few scenes...]
Meghan smiled politely, though she really found him quite boring. She was tired of being used by Scott to flirt with other men. Just moved on to those Evelyn and Jessica girls so easily didn't he... Well after this he is going to owe me one, and I plan to hold him to it. Just flirt with this guy and you can have Scott later, easy as pie Meghan. Just suck it up. Besides, he is rich, so I guess he isn't all that unattractive. she thought, swinging her legs. "How very interesting," she lied. He was a bad flirt, and his hair was weird, but other than that he was not so bad. Just remember, he is rich and famous. she kept repeating in her mind. "So, you looking forward to the trip eh?" she said, some of her charm wearing. She quickly recovered, twirling her hair a bit around her finger and laying further backwards, showing most of her upper chest, though not in the man's view, she would let him imagine them, or perhaps if he was creepy enough, he may try to switch positions and get a view of them.
William started to notice Meghan to lose interest. She doesn't really care. William thought. He started moving his arm down. "So, uh." He thought how to continue. "You are one of Grandtree's maids, right?" He shifted to the left of the chair so she didn't have to sit on the arm of the chair. "How'd you get that job? I bet it's not fun, entertaining Grandtree's guests."
Name: Corde Pancakes Liruil. (( Pronounced same a cord. ))
Appearance: the first thing you notice about Corde are her green eyes, which are surrounded by an aura of intelligence and make her look quite fierce. Her red-brownish hair enframes her slightly angular face and weaves a way down past her small shoulder and the ends reach the small of her back. It is often kept back from falling over he eyes with a leather strip encircling her brow. A small straight nose makes Corde look a lot younger than she is, and her small mouth can usually be found curled in an amused smile but despite its size, it is capable of capturing people's attention with the words that come out. Corde it quite long and her training with the blade has given Corde has a lean and agile body that is noticable bij her slinking, muscular way of walking, with her slender sword at her hip.
Skills: Swordplay and Art. Actually, Corde considers Swordsplay an art too, as she often dances with blade in hand, never remaining still as she fights. She has complete control over her blade, but doesn't have as much strength as she'd wish. Corde is also quite skilled with the various pieces of charcoal she owns. Corde likes to draw the things around her when she's given the time too, whether it's the birds, trees or a rock in the middle of the river. She likes to work with perfection when it comes to her drawings. Sometimes she sells them, with regret, for money to come by.
Bio: Corde grew up in a rich family of merchants, her father running it with her mother alongside him. They both were extremely busy and had little time for Corde, so they gave her a male guardian name Tornic to watch her when they could not. Corde wasn't a social butterfly, because Tornic scared all the children, including parents, away with his dark hair and eyes and broadness. Corde saw Tornic as her best friend and given the fact that he used to be an Imperial Guard, he was an expert with the blade. He often practiced his skills, refusing to stop and Corde watched him as a young girl and sometimes he took the time to teach her the basics. Around the age of 10 she was able to handle a sword with some ease, and Tornic had been astounded by her quick learning.
Her parents didn't like Corde handling long, sharp blades, although the ones she practiced with were fake. And still being a girl, Corde didn't spend her whole day practicing with Tornic and also made rough sketches of the docks and her garden or other scenarios. Her parents encouraged her to continue explore her artsy side and drop swordplay, but Corde liked the shiny blades as much as she liked her dull piece charcoal. Tornic self fought with a hand-and-a-half hence he taught her to wield this kind of blade with control. They sparred every day if they had time to spare, Corde growing strong and agile in the process. On her 18th birthday, Tornic presented her with a blade of her own, that was similar to his as a gift for her skill. His task of looking after was done and Corde regretted seeing her mentor and guard leave.
Not much later she left her parents for an unknown reason that she doesn't like to talk about it, and set off, traveling from town to town practicing and teaching her skills to those that had the patience to learn.
Reason to join: You know me Grandy. RP-maniac, and I knew you were hosting this beforehand, so here I am finally with my 'meh' app. Also, I'm actually really curious to know what a good 'ol W' and W' is.
Invitation: The tip of the thin sword whistled through the air, but before it could embed it in Corde's leather armor, her hand-and-a-half sword flew up to meet it as she twirled away, a smirk set on her face. "Come on, Jeod, you know that wouldn't even come close." She taunted slightly. The guard wielding the other blade laughed, before swinging at her again, the blade heading towards her ribs. Their swords met in midair once again. Corde disengaged with a flourish, thrusted, and then riposted as Jeod parried, dancing away once again. "Better. Keep it coming." She grinned, practicing with the guards was always fun, especially Jeod; He was kind, but lacked total control over his narrow blade and Corde sparred with him every 3 days. They struggled back and forth, neither gaining the upper hand yet, but Corde eventually laughed as the tip of her sword touched Jeod's jaw. Lowering her sword she breathed slightly heavier before nodding and grabbing her backpack, showing that the session was over. The few guards that had been watching snickered and clapped Jeod's back as he flushed red and set off to his post. Before Corde hoisted the backpack, she noticed it was open. Definitely not the way she had left it. Growling internally at the thought of being robbed, she opened her backpack further. Nothing was stolen, but a thin yellow parchment lay there on top of her favourite brown tunic, with her name written on it in graceful, steady handwriting. Taking it out she headed towards the "Golden Tree Inn", and broke the seal. Reading it swiftly, her lips curled into a smile at the thought of adventure. Riches beyond imagination, eh? Let's see where this'll take me then. She nodded at the innkeeper and headed up the flight of stairs, lost in thoughts of how this could be a scam or if this Scott guy really meant it.
(( Yeah, it's not as great as I had it pictured, but hell, I'm typed this on my handheld in a document. Wasn't very hard, just hard to iron out the mistakes, so please read over those. Also, sorry for the late entry Grandy. ))
"It's not so bad. We don't have to work too much really. He pays us real well. Honestly though, none of us planned to be maids, but it's the only way to stay around Scott for too long. He loses interest in woman quickly, always moving on. A real ass," she said, sighing. "He's great in bed though," she muttered, leaning on William. "He needs to get back here already, I am hungry, how about you?"
Accepted, though the way you received the application was not what I wanted, as well as an artist probably not being the most useful skill aboard a ship, though I suppose I can say Scott wanted portraits to highlight the journey... Anyway, you may begin RPing.
(( I know. But oh well, I couldn't really think of anything original that would be of use. I know it's not that good of a character and if I bounce upon something that might be of use within the next 36 hours, I'll edit my app. Anything you really need on board? ))

“I was thinking that work is like fertilizer in that I'm glad it exists; I just don't ever want to get stuck in it.”
"Nah, well, those two whores who spent the night here last night," she said, huffing and going over to pour herself a glass of Scott's rum. "It's not fair... I work all damned day for him and he has two whores over to sleep with. Bull ****. Anyway, the hell with him. You want a glass of rum too?"
[Thought it would be nice to make our Lunch interesting with one of Scott's maids love/hating him.]
((Sorry if it isn’t enough, I’m in the hotel on a mobile, tomorrow I’ll be home and I can improve.))
Your character's name:
Your character's age:
Your character's skill:
Lookout and hunter. She lived on a farm with 5 sisters, a crippled father, and a tired and weak mother, and when the crops weren’t bringing enough food in and her father’s leg was acting up and he couldn’t work for the rest of the week, than she had to hunt for the family. After years and years, her eyes grew sharper and she could see even well-camouflaged animals hiding in the shadows, and check if that distant bird was fat enough for good eating.
What does your character look like, I should get a vivid mental image:
Zoe is a little taller than 5’2”, and skinny from undernourishment. Her eyes are a dark, stormy grey. She has windswept brown hair, a very light shade from being in the sun for all her life, tucked under a worn cap. Her hair has been cut in the back, in a practical way to keep it from getting in the way, and in the front there is just enough hair to protect most of her forehead without reducing visibility. The cap has plenty of holes in it, not many of which have been covered. She wears a battered pair of trousers held up by a leather belt, which are almost more patches than the original pair of trousers, and seem to have been repaired by someone not very good with a needle. She wears a standard pair of leather shoes, filled with holes like the rest of her clothes. Under her battered old coat lies a short-sleeved brown shirt, and is slightly less damaged then the rest of her clothes on account of it being under her coat much of the time. Obviously she’s dressed for practicality, and sports no jewelry or other gaudy accessories. She has a round face, and despite being hungry most of the time it doesn’t look too skinny.
Autobiography of your character:
Zoe’s life was pretty normal for the first few years of her life. She lived a simple life on a farm, not too far from the local port, where her father would sell the extra crops if the harvest was good. She was a curious girl, and would spend plenty of time in the forest exploring, looking under rocks, and climbing trees. However, that was all soon to change. One day, while taking his cart to the port, Zoe’s father’s horses grew nervous. They stopped in the middle of the road, and wouldn’t move on no matter what he did. Suddenly, the ground started shaking! He tried to get away from the trees, but suddenly one of them fell down and pinned his leg to the ground. So he was forced to stay there in unconsciousness, and was found later in the evening by another trader. He got help, and took the father to a doctor, but it was too late. He lost his leg, and had to wear a peg-leg instead. He could still work in the fields, but sometimes bouts of pain bothered his stump and forced him to lay down. It was during these periods that Zoe learned to hunt.
Even after all this Zoe was still her optimistic self. Not too much had changed, and at least her father hadn’t died. Plus, hunting was something special for her. She could relax; get away from all the stress that came with dealing with her family. Even though she loved them, they were incredibly bothersome and worried all the time. However, when she turned 13 things started to deteriorate. She became moody, and actively avoided her family all the time. She spent a lot of time in the forest, which started to become her real home. However, she couldn’t live like this forever, and one day something set her off. She doesn’t ever talk about it, but on the eve of her 17th birthday she ran away to the only other place that was nearby where her parents wouldn’t look for her. The nearby port.
Once she made it, she looked for work on a vessel going to a far country, a long voyage. Unfortunately, none of them would take a 17-year old girl on their ship, not one good clean ship would take her on. So, she went into the underworld. It was a miracle she emerged unscathed, but she did find work on a pirate ship cleaning the decks. This was a terrifying part of her life, even though she escaped most of the crew's wrath, she still has a few scars. She doesn't like to talk about this only journey into the other side of the law, though if drunk enough she might give up a story or two. One day the lookout, a nasty man, fell ill and she was the only one nimble enough to climb up and down the mast without straining herself. So, she got the job. However, as soon as she got to the port again she took the offer that the local government was giving, if you give up the life of a pirate you’ll get an official pardon and a small amount of silver. She then worked as hard as she could, and soon got a job on another ship as a lookout. After several very successful and profitable voyages, she gained a local reputation as a good lookout. Then, one day, she received an invitation to a possibly profitable voyage, and how could she refuse?
Why do you want to join this RP:
I love RPing, and it seems that only Grandtree and AYFTracks can make an RP with realistic standards. A note: I realize that I’ve been inactive in my other RPs, but now that I’m almost back from vacation I can start back up again.
Post an example of your skill at RPing by stating your character's reaction upon receiving the invitation:
Zoe sat down in her room after a long day of doing nothing. She was between jobs, and could barely afford to live here, in this disgusting room. She surveyed her situation. It wasn’t good. The flickering candlelight showed a room falling apart, with moldy walls and almost no furniture besides a pitifully small desk and equally small bed. Chunks of the ceiling were missing, and let’s not even mention the vermin that lived in the room. If only she could get a job, she could hopefully move out of this dump! Unfortunately, she could barely work because of the hunger that followed her around, she was always feeling hollow inside, and would most likely starve to death before finding another decent ship. Suddenly, her reverie was interrupted by a fluttering sound. There was a slip of paper being shoved under her door! Enraged at this intrusion, Zoe rose from her bed, strode to her door, and flung it open. It was too late though; whoever had wedged it there had run away. She curiously looked at the paper, and picked it up before the wind snatched it. Her eyes scanned it, she hadn’t always been the best reader at home, but could read most words. Suddenly, her eyes widened. A job! She could hardly wait, but realized that there was a ton to do. Oh well, that could wait for later. Even though she couldn’t afford it, she decided to go to the tavern and have a celebratory drink.
Sasha watched as Scott retrieved the book, and removed the lock box, with a large smile on her face. When he came back over to her and put his hand around her, she jumped slightly. Looking at her glass, she tightened her grip on it. 'Damn it... I didn't want to drink too much...' Sasha nodded, and downed her whole glass. She set it lightly on the desk, and looked at Scott. "Finished it... 'appy?" She then blinked several times, and shook her head a bit. -Saturday-
Sasha rolled over in the bed, hearing the knocking at her door. She opened her eyes, and looked around the room for the door. Rubbing her eyes, she groggily walked to the door, and opened it. "Why did you wake me up so early..?" She said, yawning right after speaking. She didn't hear exactly what he said, just the "wake up" part. She leaned against the door frame, and blinked sleepily at Scott.
[Figured that there would be curtains/blinds/drapes on the windows, so she wouldn't see what time it actually was. xD]
Ulrich left Cole to his own devices. He walked back down the now-familiar road of Southport, and arrived at the third house from the street. Ulrich looked up at the manor, able to have time to study it. Not my kind of house. Too....flowy.
Ulrich went up to the door, and knocked, using the brass knocker on the right oak door.

[Just waiting till Scott and Sasha enter the room.]
"Contented," he sighed, popping in the key and opening up the safe, extracting the curled map. He lay it gently in her lap and looked up at her, his face entirely serious for perhaps the first time today. "You understand that this is nothing like any of the other situations you may have been in. You look at that map and you are mine. You spill a single word about what is on that map and I will not hesitate to slit your throat. Hate to be a mood killer, I like you a lot, really do, but I want you to understand the gravity of this situations."
"I am taking you to lunch. Now slip some fresh clothes on from the closet and wash up if you need to, we are departing as soon as possible," he said, leaning a hand on the door frame and looking at her from a new vantage. "Your damn cute you know that? No, sorry, I'm done, we can deal with that over lunch. Get ready, we are going," he said before heading to his room to prepare himself.
[Finish your application then we will talk.]
Scott heard the knocker, and due to his close proximity to the door, opened it himself. "Hey, uhm, Ulrich right? Yea, hey, we are about to go to lunch, won't you join us?" he asked, motioning one of the maids to him with a gesture behind his back. He glanced back, noticing it was Natasha. "Natasha here will escort you," he said, opening the door wide enough to let him see the lovely Natasha waving at him from behind Scott.
Ulrich raised his hands in polite refusal, "Oh, no, thank you. I already had lunch. I was just here to pick up my budget for the trip," Ulrich looked Natasha up and down, "Though I say it with deep regret. It would be a grand time, I'm sure, but, unfortunately, I have other business to attend to."
