Nathan awoke after a long restless night of very little sleep. His thoughts had kept him awake most of the night. He rolled out of the hard, uncomfortable inn bed, his eyes almost completely shut. He rubbed his eyes and splashed some water from his canteen onto his face. He washed his mouth the best he could and began getting ready for the coming trip. He put on all his clothing and armor, sheathed his sword and threw his bow and arrows over his back. He packed a small bag with things he would need for himself and threw over his right shoulder. When he was ready, he headed down stairs, letting the woman behind the inn counter know the room was now unoccupied. He made his way to the docks, eating an apple on the way there. He noticed a man sitting on a crate, possibly a crew member. " Good day, sir. Are you here for the Lunario? "
Ulrich walked down the stairs, shouting back up to his bedroom, "My home is yours, Veronica. Just send for Jacob if you need anything."
Walking to the guest bedroom, Ulrich knocked on the door, "Cole? Time to get ready. We have to be at the docks by noon, annnnnd," he checked the clock in the hall, "It is 9:38. Chop chop!"
Ulrich laid his duster coat on the kitchen table, and threw a quick breakfast together. Toast and eggs, good for energy. Ulrich scooped the now-cooked eggs onto a plate, the bread still toasting.
Ludwig stood up to greet the tall man in front of him and was surprised to behold someone he had to physically look up to. "That is correct sir, you're a member of Grandtree's crew as well?" Ludwig said. He held out his hand to the man "My name is Ludwig, yours?" Ludwig craned his neck to inspect the bow on the man's back "so you are a uh... poacher, no?"

" The name's Nathan, and yes. I'll be one of your crew members. Pleasure to meet you, sir. " he said, shaking the man's hand. " And.. no. Not exactly. I don't consider myself that. " he said, ending it there. He didn't want to continue talking about what it was that he did. " It seems like we're a little early, or the others are late.. "
William rolled out of bed and stretched with a yawn.
Ugh. What do I- He then realized that is was the day he went on the voyage with Grandtree and his crew. He dragged his body over to the kitchen and ate cooked some eggs. (Om nom nom.) When he was finished, he got a few dozen shirts and trousers, three pairs of shoes, and some of his lucky tools. He stuffed it all in a big box he made himself which has a lock which can only be opened by either smashing it, or putting in the combo he had the city's key smith make for him. He opened the door and walked outside, to the beautiful day. Aaaah. It's very nice out today. He walked to the docks, and saw a ship being loaded for a voyage. Even though it wasn't the Lunario, he knew he was a little early and he would have to wait a little bit before it arrived. This must be it. He saw two men talking by the ship, one standing right next to a crate that he was probably sitting on earlier, and another man, who was armed to the teeth with weapons. He then realized that that was the same man who was talking to Grandtree the day before during lunch. He didn't interfere much, but he brought his crate over to the ship's cargo (You know, the place where the stuff is about to be loaded on the ship) and sat down on it with a thunk, alerting the other two men.
[Kay, Im just going to assume AYFTracks followed me. I NO WAIT.]
A half-hour later, Ulrich walked out of his home, Cole in tow. Walking down to the town square, Ulrich met a crew of cooks and servants, with foodstuffs and cooking ingredients in many crates on carts. Checking the labels on the crates to make sure they were his, Ulrich nodded.
"Take all this down to the docks. Knowing Grandtree, he'll like a grand unveiling of his ship, so look for an empty quay."
Donning his red pinstriped duster, Ulrich checked his appearance in a shop window. Hair was in order, goatee trimmed and combed. Straightening his duster, Ulrich led Cole down to the docks, and saw a group of men sitting on some crates across from an empty quay. Recognizing two men, Ulrich said loudly, "Ludwig! A pleasant sight to see when I'm not slobbering drunk!"
Ulrich clasped hands with Ludwig, and turned to William, "Ah, Shipwright William! Good to see you again, sir."

" Ah, good to see we're not late! " Nathan said, noticing another familiar face. He bowed slightly as a greeting -- " Good to see you. " A few minutes later yet another familiar face arrived, Ulrich. The one from the night before. As expected, Ulrich completely ignored Nathan, as if he wasn't even there. Nathan shook his head and crossed his arms. If the man didn't wish to talk, so be it. He wasn't the talking type, anyway. And talking to Ulrich would be especially irrititating.
Ulrich turned and saw Nathan, standing there and looking generally unpleasant. Ulrich sighed heavily, Better patch things up now, than to let it spoil for a long time...
Ulrich looked Nathan in the eye and said, "Mr. Mars, I sincerely apologize for my behaviour last night. I'm afraid I had partaken too much alcohol, and my thoughts were not as clear as I would have liked," Ulrich offered his hand, hoping for forgiveness, it seemed.
"I would like to patch up any hard feelings we may have harbored against eachother."

Nathan accepeted the apology, shaking the man's hand. Though he felt like he should have been the one apologizing. " We have no problems. " he said, stepping back. He felt out of place, as if he wasn't mean to be part of the crew. It almost felt like a prank. As if someone had purposely invited him knowing his hate for Grandtree would bring them all trouble.
Ulrich smiled, "Good. Now, I don't believe we have been properly introduced. I am Ulrich Redwing, and the chef for our trip."
He fidgeted with a pocket, unconciously gripping his money pouch. Ulrich relaxed when he realized he remembered it.

Ludwig heard the thunk of a man on a crate nearby, "hoy sir! Are you boarding the Lunario today?" Ludwig asked. He waited for an answer but the a familiar voice shouted out to greet him.
"Aha! Likewise Ulrich, my friend. Well met." Ludwig said, exchanging a handshake with the cook. Ulrich committed an apology to Nathan for whatever reason to do with alcohol. "Did I miss a party last night?" Ludwig asked, though probably inappropriately.

Ulrich chuckled at Ludwig's forwardness. He liked Ludwig. He was a genuinely friendly man, defying his large size. Friendly, but, Ulrich could tell, not overly bright. Smart enough to get by, but that was it.
"No my friend. Sir Nathan and I simply had a disagreement last night, but we settled it and buried the hatchet."
Ulrich saw his crew and items turn a corner, and he directed them to his group.
"Wait here, the ship should arrive soon."

"I'll keep quiet about it for the crews sake... But it still worries me..." Sasha said in a very unamused tone. "And... The only reason for the clothing is I was gonna run out after you, and I wasn't about to run out practically naked!" She said, blushing. "But then i remembered the threat on my life if I were approached by somebody other than you, and decided to stay..." She walked back tot he chair, sitting back down for a second, eying the wine bottle. "You really should consider the threat more than you do, though... But... just know... If you die first... I'm taking the crew, and heading back..." She said, crossing her arms. 'THe god damn moron... He needs to take this more seriously... If he doesn't...' She thought, staring at the wine bottle once more. "Just... take the threat more seriously... Please..?" She asked him, almost begging. 'I'll play nice for now, but if he refuses..." She thought, getting a stern look on her face. 'Just like the pigs at the bar...' She thought as she grabbed the wine bottle.

"Awww, c'mon, they can wait. Get back here," Scott called as Hannah got out of his bed.
"No, you are late as it is. Get up you big baby," she responded teasingly, picking up her strewn clothing and using them to cover herself.
"You are not nearly as fun as before."
"Yes, well unlike your other maids I actually do my job as well as have fun."
"Yes, as I said, not nearly as fun."
"Oh, get up," she said as she slipped her pants back on. Fully clothed now, she headed out of the room, leaving Scott no time to respond.
"I'm gonna miss this place," Scott sighed as he lay his head back down. Eventually he got on his pants, not bothering to wear anything else until after he bathed, and headed to Sasha's room to wake her up as he had promised, though they now had only twenty minutes to get to the docks and be on time. He used his skeleton key and opened the door. "Sasha, wake up and get ready. We gotta go... ehm..." he paused, checking his watch, then continued "Well... very soon."
Ulrich leaned up against the side of a building, growing quite bored. He glanced at his watch, 10:39...
10:40.
Ulrich sighed.
Walking over to a crate labeled "Alcohol / Ice", Ulrich asked, "Any of you fellows want a drink?"
Without waiting for an answer, he cracked open the crate, and pulled out a random bottle -- bourban -- and opened it with his knife. Taking a swig, he figeted with the strap to his longsword scabbard, anxious.
Sasha released her grip on the bottle, and sighed. "Fine... As long as you put a bit of thought into it, I suppose that's enough... and... Don't bother." She said, getting up, and walking to the door. "I have stuff on under this... See you tomorrow, then..." She sighed once more as she walked out the door, and proceeded to go down the hall, only to stop and turn around to yell "OH! Wake me up tomorrow! If you don't, I'll be out for a long time. haha." With that, she closed her bedroom door, locked it, took off the odd clothing, and walked over to her dresser, putting on her clothes she planned to wear the following day. "I know I'll freaking sleep in... Gotta be ready to run out the door... This way I just grab any extra stuff, and run out the door.." She said, putting anything she wouldn't need the following day into a bag, then put the bag next to the dresser, hopping under the covers off the bed, and quickly going to sleep.
[Figured this would be fine... Wanna move on to Sunday! xD]

Sasha whined, and opened an eye, staring at Scott. "Fine..." She muttered, kicking off the covers, and walking over to her boots, putting them on. "Figured something like this would happen... Got ready last night..." She muttered, walking the the mirror, fixing her hair and putting it up in a ponytail. "Let's see... anything else I'm forgetting..?" She asked Scott, groggily.
"The last time I got onto a ship tipsy the captain gave me swabbing duty for a week," Ludwig said to Ulrich "so I will only have a swig for the nerves". Completely oblivious to the fact that he had contradicted his previous statement, Ludwig retrieved the bottle, gulped down a modest amount, exhaled loudly, wiped his mouth and plonked down on his crate before holding the bottle forward for either Nathan or Ulrich to take. He had to say the drink made him feel better.
