(Yeah. I'm sorry. I got a new puppy, and I was on vacation this weekend, so sorry. Also, like Feorkis said, you can control meh if it's necessary. Just don't make decisions that would be 'out of character of me.' :tongue.gif:)
[Lunch Legion]
William ate his clams and payed attention to what was going on next to him. As he could tell, a man attacked one of Grandtree's guards, but it happened to be one of the crew mates. ((Please tell me if I'm wrong here.)) There happened to be a fairly large clam he was holding, and William thought to save that one for last, but it got the better of him. He opened it up, and ate it.
Nathan sighed, shaking his head, he leaned back into a comfortable sitting position. Still curious to know why he had been invited, but not as interested as before. He had caused enough trouble, and had given the whole table an awful first impression, even though he spoke in a low tone of voice. Pausing for a moment, he took a few deep breaths. " I apologize." he said.. again, unsure if the others had heard his conversation with Scott and almost hoping they hadn't.
Ulrich made a low disapproving noise as Nathan "apologized". Almost like he thought something he did could be fixed with a few words. Ulrich just shook his head, and sat back down next to Cole, who had been silent throughout the whole event. Ulrich grabbed his wine glass, and downed the half-full glass in one gulp.

((Sorry for the OOC post (tbh I should be studying chemistry at the moment), but I thought I might have a read through what I've missed. It made me lol that an awkward silence involving everyone has lasted the good part of three days now. Anyways just as a friendly suggestion; if no-one is going to break the ice (AYF is probably the one to do this 'cos he hasn't posted properly yet) and if Grandtree doesn't have any more important plot elements to introduce tonight, now might be a good time for a timewarp to morning? A bunch of people, including myself, have been waiting patiently.
Sorry if the tone of this post sounds frustrated, my patience hasn't run out quite yet. Its just kind of hard to put this forward in happy words. Btw I understand that the topic is probably just slow atm due to the forum crash and the subsequent shifting of the thread (about that, have you heard back from the mods yet Grand?). Nevertheless, continue...))
The moral of these stories? Play God, and there is a 100% chance you will be mauled to death by leopard men.

[Sorry, wifi problems, at a friends house for a bit. Anyway, now could be a fine time for a time-warp however I should be introducing Riengo tonight, though the rest of you all can do whatever. So yes, time-warp achieved, I will assume Sasha stayed at the mansion and all that. Anyway, sorry for the absence that will sadly be continuing for a while.]
[Dessert Delegation]
Scott enjoyed the rest of his dessert in mostly an awkward silence with some chatter here and there, most likely due to Nathan. Later he took the crew home, save Sasha who he returned to his house. "Sleep well, I believe I will be taking a stroll to clear my mind and think about things," he said, looking up towards the sky. He walked out the gates without another word.
[Riengo should be walking the streets so I may allow her to enter into the story. So everyone can move to Sunday now! Feokris will add a development as well.]
Ulrich quickly left the restaurant, but not before "accidently" trodding on Nathan's foot. He looked Nathan in the eye and said with practiced tones of false sincerity, "Terribly sorry." Ulrich opened the double doors, and stepped out into the crisp coastal night. He took a deep breath and thought, I need alot of alcohol.
Ulrich walked briskly to his house, opened his front door, closed and locked it. He walked downstairs to his cellar, grabbed two random bottles; more than likely whiskey and bourban. Walking back upstairs, and up to the second floor, Ulrich set the bottles down on his nightstand, popped the cork on the whiskey, and downed half of the bottle in one sitting. The rest of his consious night went on uneventfully.

(@Mr_Grandtree, Reingo hasn't been on sense June 18, which has been about three weeks. I'm not sure if you were already aware of that or not, just a bit of a heads up that you might have to wait quite a bit.)
[Feokris! Though everyone should read this. :wink.gif:]
Sasha had just left the bathroom after preparing for sleep and changing clothes, when she felt the urge to look over the map once again. She entered her room, quickly discarding the dirty laundry on the floor, and went over to the table next to her bed. She pulled the key out from around her neck, and opened the drawer containing the map. As she pulled it out, her eyes sparkled, filled with delight, as always. Before unrolling the map, she quickly secured the lock on her window, and pulled the drapes, as well as closing and locking her bedroom door. 'I'm sure even the maids aren't allowed to see this...' She thought, sitting back on her bed, and unrolling the map. Eyes sparkling, she traced her fingers over the various routed they could take to the island. She laid back on her bed, holding the map to the light, and smiled for a short moment, before noticing something.
Sasha rolled over onto her stomach, put her arms down, and flipped the map over. Her eyes were focused on the center of in, and she had a worrisome look on her face. She sat up, and studied the back of it carefully, making sure she was seeing correctly. Biting her lip, she read the message on the back of the map, over and over, before quietly reading it out loud. "Should man ever step foot upon these lands, he will find himself buried beneath it's sands."
Finally affirming it's meaning, she put it back in the drawer, and locked it away safely. She then threw a long coat over her shoulders, as well as a pair of men's trousers and boots, unlocked the door, and walked down the halls, looking for Scott. After checking most every room she normally saw him in, she remembered him mentioning something about a stroll, and stomped her foot in anger. "Dammit! I need to talk to him! And I've been threatened with death if I leave this mansion without somebody watching me... But... Is this worth it..? I mean... I'm going to find Scott... But if he stayed true to his word, I would be killed, and the whole crew would be at risk..." She muttered to herself, deciding to wait until he returned, and turned around.
Sasha walked down the hallways silently, ignoring anything the maids said to her, and entered Scott's office, closing the door behind her. She walked over to his desk, and sat down in the chair after grabbing a bottle of liquor, tearing the cork out, and taking a drink of it. She wiped her mouth, and put the bottle, as well as her feet, up on the desk. She crossed her arms and waited, staring at the doors, refusing to break her stare until Scott walked through them.
Basically, the jest is that Sasha is just now seeing that the trip is not going to be a joy ride, and that danger will be involved, a lot of it.
[Feokris]
Scott walked the mainly deserted streets of the town quietly, looking up at the stars often. He thought about a lot of things; Lily the stunning doctor, Sasha the murderer and her eyes, The adventure he had the next day, and of Nathan and his behavior. He considered dropping him from the crew, but it was highly doubtful he could get another survivalist of his caliber on such short notice. How he was even invited in the first place was beyond him. Eventually he wandered back home to get a drink. He walked into his office and was somewhat surprised to find Sasha. [i]Lustful little lass isn't she? Waited all the while I was gone in... Wait, what in the hell is she wearing? Not exactly an expert at seduction is she...[/i]
[I assume she would start talking as soon as he entered so I had him say nothing for now.]
[Mr_Grandtree]
The second Scott walked into the doors, Sasha put her feet down, bet kept staring at him. "Hey, welcome home... There's something i need to ask you about, Scott..." She said in a cold, condescending tone. "You see, I was looking at the map earlier, and, I'm not sure if you know or not, but... There's a message on the back of it, written in blood. It warns everyone to stay away from the island, and that if you step foot on it, you should expect death. Now, somebody who gets mad at me for killing one captain to save an entire crew surely wouldn't know that warning existed, seeing how you care oh so much about the lives of others, especially those that you don't know well, or, in my old captains case, not at all." She said loudly, but not loud enough that anybody outside the room could hear her. She then stood up, and and sighed. "I mean, if you had known that the warning existed, there's no way in hell a honorable man like you would be making everyone go on this trip, right? I mean, I'm not saying I'm not up for adventure, and not one to test fate, but surely a noble man like yourself would consider the possibility of this being true, and at least warn everyone going on the trip, right? I mean, if you knew about it and just ignored telling the crew, well, from my point of view, you just seem like a hypocrite." She said, moving a bit closer to him. "So... What do you have to say, Grandtree?"
"I never got mad at you for killing a captain, now, it was a bit unnerving, me being a captain you must understand," he said with a playful voice as he went to his desk. He pulled out two glasses and filled them, then pulled out a bit of mint and began chewing it. He always kept fresh mint around as a replacement for smoking his pipe since he quit it a year ago. Times like these were usually times when he would pull out his pipe, and the urge was driving him a bit batty lately. He sat down and popped in a second leaf from the desk and leaned back, chewing. "I don't think much for that warning really. Most likely a bluff. Besides, we have the best crew around. Nothing short of the god's wrath could stop us," he said in a slightly boastful manner. "Not to mention our lovely navigator can always sail us away if need be, right?" he cooed. [Love that word by the way. Cooed...] "Now, for the best of the crew we probably better keep that little message between us. No use scaring them. It is a long uninhabited island, they have a better chance getting hurt here than there anyway..." He pushed a glass towards her and drained his, quickly refilling it. "What are you doing in my clothes anyway? The pants were a cute idea, but the coat and boots are just odd. You should toss those off and I will get someone to fetch you something more attractive," he said, smirking a bit. He was in no mood to fulfill his promise to himself anymore. He had a long day, and some female attention was just what he needed. Perhaps I have earned just one treat before the big journey. It's not like it will make her spoil or anything...
When William returned home, he sat down and ran his fingers through his hair. What am I getting myself into... he thought. William has never been on a ship, even though he lived in the grand city of Port Golden. He couldn't imagine what it would be like, making stuff on a ship. Everything would slide off the table, he might get sea sick, William thought of everything that could go wrong with him. "Ugh. No matter." He said to himself. He got up and walked to his bed. He flopped on it and fell asleep.

[ SELF, already getting tired of the color thing. ]
Nathan left the restaurant after the others, ignoring Ulrich. Having no real place to go, he spent most of the night walking the city streets, thinking. He wasn't sure if he wanted to go on the trip. He had made a lot of mistakes in his life, that much he knew, but was it right to judge him so harshly? He was getting a taste of his own medicine. It angered him, almost to the point of deciding to stay in order to avoid it escalating into something much worse. His hate for the Grandtrees' bliding him once more. Hate fueled by lies. He stayed in a small inn for the night, deciding he would go, but only because he liked adventure. He wouldn't get another chance like this. A chance to see what's beyond the oceans and a chance to get away from his troubles and his enemies, even if that meant making new ones. Atleast they weren't trying to kill him.. yet.
Lily was awake most of the night, seemingly too excited to sleep. But when she woke the next day, thank goodness not too late in the morning, she felt well rested. Lily sprung out of bed at the first realization that she was awake. She ran down the stairs, and skipped over to the window. She smiled at the sun, the sky, and the people who were walking the streets. What a great day to be alive, What a great day for adventure...
(( I meant " Atleast they weren't trying to kill him " on my previous post. I know I could edit, but if most of you are like myself, you don't often read the same post ( unless it's your own ) more than once. So yeah, there it is. It's fixed now. ))
[I am aware you said I could take control of your character, but this seems like a decision you should make, not me. This isn't too critical a moment, but how angry she is about the back of the map is kind of your choice.]
Ulrich woke up with the rising sun's bloodred rays shining on his face. He realized he was in his bed, in last nights trousers, but shirtless. He shifted his body up, so he was sitting up, leaning against the headboard. Ulrich ran a hand through his unruly hair, looking about his room, trying to remember his night. Lots of alcohol, yes. Memory loss, obviously. Women? Racking his memory, Ulrich couldn't seem to remember women at all. Crawling to the other side of his bed, he looked over the edge to see a quite naked woman, entangled in the blankets that Ulrich now realized were missing. Dragging himself out of bed, on his own side, Ulrich grabbed a glass of water and sipped it, looking out his window, thinking of the day's itinerary. Hearing shuffling behind him, Ulrich slowly turned about to see a brunette beauty rise from the far side of his bedroom. Scratching her head, she said tiredly, "Hey, Richy..."
Ulrich responded, "Good morning, Veronica. Unfortunately, I cannot have our day, for I leave at noon," he paused, sipping at his water, "On a voy--...business trip."
Veronica pouted, "But we haven't been able to forever. And I won't see you for God knows how long..."
Ulrich walked over to Veronica, "Dont worry, Ron. I will be back before you realize it." He placed his hand on her face, "Just don't forget me, eh?"
Ulrich got up, and began to dress himself for the trip, pulling a billowy white shirt on, buttoning it halfway before stopping and refilling his glass of water.

Ludwig woke up more drowsily than he would have liked to, but after wiping the gunk out of his eyes and getting dressed he felt refreshed enough. Ludwig opened the door of his house and looked up to where the sun was, judging by the time he thought it better to just eat breakfast on the way to the docks. Stepping back inside, Ludwig rolled on his chain-mail vest and his gloves, slipped his sword in its scabbard onto his belt and searched his cupboards for some food. After much opening and closing Ludwig found a portion of bread that would suffice for his morning meal. Hefting his luggage over one shoulder and holding his bread in his opposite hand, Ludwig left home for what would be the foreseeable future.
Eventually, Ludwig found his way to the city docks. Walking along the quay he came across a group of men shifting crates of supplies for a long voyage. There was no ship adjacent to the edge of the quay closest to the crates, Ludwig assumed the "Lunario" it would fill the gap eventually. He lay his bag on the ground and sat on a crate, perhaps he would meet some of the crew from the pub a couple of nights ago, albeit in more sober circumstances.
Ludwig scratched at the back of his neck; he couldn't get comfortable. He was always anxious like this before fights or big journeys...
