[It is a mansion. A huge mansion with topiary leading up the walk to his large doouble doors. You can fill in what you want from there, but remember, Scott is a rich guy and loves to show it off.]
[Sorry, I wish I could introduce my own character's items and such, but logically Scott would not just start thinking of his house randomly. Anyway, this is no fault of your own. Sorry to make you change things.]
[I will be introducing the boat however. I have it all set up on how that will work.]
Lily read the letter over and over again, not believing the words that were written on it. At first she didn't think it was real, a mere joke, but further inspection of the seal proved otherwise. "Southport, third from street...twelve o'clock." she muttered, looking over at the clock. "Oh no... Its twelve o'clock now!" she sprinted out of the room, letter still in hand. She reached into her pocket, and threw a bunch of gold at the innkeeper, stating she was staying another night. What a bad first impression she was going to make. Now hes going to think I'm not responsible. Great. Good job Lily...

William, knowing that the ship will not come until sunday, does his daily routines until 6:00 that night. He wasn't particularly envying when the clock was a 180 degree angle. ((Six. That's six.))
[Anna, you must actually reach my door and knock before I can really interact with you silly. :tongue.gif:]
[Sorry about my delay, my internet provider is giving me trouble.]
"Freddy! Getta door awready." Scott slurred. He had had too much to drink already. Soon Freddy appeared with the same tired look that was always on his face and opened the door. "Welcome esteemed guest. Please enter, Scott will be in the third room from the left. Scott looked around through blurry vision to make sure everything was in place. His large oak desk was neat and tidy, the two leather chairs in front of him were immaculate. The small table betwixt the two chairs had refreshments of rum, wine and water. There was little daylight left and candles sat, ready to be lit when darkness descended. Yes, everything was fine. [Tried to describe in character, but not much more I can do there. It is a large study with bookshelves lining it's walls, save a large picture of his family from when he was 12, and a very large picture window behind the two leather chairs. The walling is dark stained oak. Anyway, that should be enough for our brief encounter here.
"Thank you, sir," Ulrich said, handing a sliver coin to the butler. He looked around the foyer, impressed with this Grandtree person. Following the butler's direction, Ulrich went into the third room from the left, and saw a very respectable-looking man, even though he appeared to be drunk. He's probably a lightweight. Can't hold his drink, Ulrich thought with a smirk.
"Ah, you must be Mr. Scott Grandtree."

((Sorry for another OOC post, but if it's okay with you, I am not entirely sure how to go with this, in fear you will kick me out of the RP. D: So, should I pretend it's six and go to your big, fancy mansion, or save you the trouble and just wait for you to be done with Ulrich and Lily? I care how confusing it would get for you, but mostly like 99% me, and maybe the mixing ups of three conversations at once.))
"Indeed. I muss apologize fer my appearance, I fear that tha wine was juss too delicious. Thata bottle thur, er wait, siddown firs, yea, tha bottle o' wine thur. I'ma connoisseur, and that thur was tha bess bottle I have evur 'ad. Well, acshually, 'twas the other three bottles, but they are uv tha same yur 'n' winery. Anyway, drink und relax and let us speak of our matters. You are the uhm... The uhm... Well, wha the hell er you?" he said, wobbling a bit as he spoke and using too many hand gestures for it to be normal. He needed to sober up. "Well, wait a moment," he said, turning to the door, "Freddy, get me some coffee will ya!" he called, to which a voice replied, "Yes master."
[Foo, do not fear being kicked out, the only thing I would kick you for now would be if you made another post disregarding something I or someone else has said. Now, it would be great if you would kindly wait for me to finish with these two, for I do not care to juggle three conversations. Now, for the record, messages for me personally should be private messaged to me. Anytime you can avoid an OOC post, do so please.]
"Wow..." Lily mumbled, walking up the pathway to the mansion. It was ridiculously huge, larger then the inn she was staying in. She didn't bother looking around the yard, she was late as it is. Grabbing the knocker, she slammed it on the door repeatedly. "Come on, come on, come on..."
Standing up, Ulrich gave a exaggerated bow, and said, "I am Ulrich Redwing, chef extraodinnare[spelling?] and little known scouter. You sent a mailboy to my place of residence at around 9 this morning, inviting me on your expedition to waters unknown on your ship, the Luciano." He sat back down, and took one last swig of his brandy before corking it, and trying some of Grandtree's remaining wine. Sweet, and dry, just like Ulrich liked it.

[Spelling is extraordinaire, think extra + ordin(Part of ordinary) + air(You breathe it) + e(Because English is a fickle language). Also, I was thinking more nutty wine, but that was just my imagination. I like to think it fermented in oak... Anyway.]
[Ladies first, so AnnaFanna.]
Fredrick was at the door before Scott had the chance to say anything. He opened it and bowed. "Welcome Milady. You will find Master Grandtree in the door on your first right." Scott looked at the door, waiting for his doctor to walk in. He wanted to drink something, but he had not yet uncorked bottles and felt it would probably be better to leave them that way till she wanted some.
[Now Stingray]
"Lunario," Scott quickly corrected. "Yush, we ned ta discuss yer budget fer tha food. We'll be un er travels fer aboot 20 er 30 days and I spect three delicious meals un ev'ry one of em. You'll ned a crew fer cookin, und I leave that hirin to you. So, how much?" he said, sipping the coffee that Freddy had set beside him as he was talking.
Lily nodded, her eyes wandering around the foyer. Scott Grandtree must be a pretty big name in this port, considering the size and beauty of his house. She walked through the door, still mesmerized. The study was beautiful. Her eyes eventually found the family portrait. Well isn't that a charming young boy... His father isn't half bad either. Once she was done looking at the portrait, she looked to the man sitting in the zebra upholstered love seat. "Mr.Grandtree?"
[@Anna:Wrong room, he moved to the study after you left. Study is third on the left, this is the living room, first on the right. Anyway, there is a family portrait in there too we can say, but it was when he was 16. Anyway... Don't focus on the room, it will make this easier.]
[@Absolete: I apologize, but meeting with my swordsman to discuss their weapons budget would by silly. Now, it is not my fault you are "Screwed you over." You can easily talk about going to the local pub and asking about "that Grandtree fellow" or something along those lines. Now, I do not appreciate that tone one bit either. Next time try to fix a problem (Well, this was not a real problem, but one you made for yourself) yourself, before blaming it on others. Thank you.]
"Why, yes, yes I am. Well, you could not possibly be Miss Veteto, the doctor. You are much too beautiful to be so famously skilled as well." he said, lying on two accounts. Firstly, he knew how she looked and only feigned surprise. Secondly, she was not famously skilled. As a matter of fact she was twelfth on his list of doctors and had been picked solely on her age and gender, and the presumption that she looked good, which he confirmed by passing by and viewing her. "Please please, sit down and have a drink." he said, [There are four seat here, the two of the love seat, and two opposing white and black leather chairs. The whole room has a kind of white and black theme, with little bursts of red, such as the red rimmed zebra skinned table in the center of the room.] getting up from his chair and moving to the wines. "White or red?" he asked.
** I don't remember causing a problem. I'm sorry if I did to you, but I'm simply stating. I'm busy enough making signatures and avatars with another three roleplays in line, I'm just ready to see how you roleplay, and jump into another interesting one.
[No, there was no problem, which was my point to you. Do not present something to me, accusing, not stating mind you, for stating means that it is a fact or definite, and this is the opposite, of leaving people on the sidelines, if I have done nothing of the sort. If anything, you all are more free to do anything you want than the others. At any rate, I hope to RP with you soon, but sadly we are waiting for a few more people before we set sail, and there is some business needing tending also among the characters.]
Lily blushed, sitting down in the black leather chair. Scott Grandtree was a lot better looking then she could've imagined. Mainly because she thought anyone who was rich were ugly. They spent more time in front of a book, and less time in front of a mirror. She always thought brains equaled money, which wasn't true. lucky him, he has both. "Nice to meet you. Uh... White please." she said, crossing her legs. She didn't know what he was going to talk about, probably something about her doctor position.
"White hmm. Personally I lost the taste for it a while ago." he said, uncorking the white wine and pouring her a glass. "A fine choice though, this bottle cost 500 gold pieces alone. No better wine in all of Port Golden." he said, handing her the golden white wine. (Golden white wine usually has aged longer) He uncorked the red wine and poured a glass for himself and did not test it, for he had drank a bottle of it only a few weeks back and knew how great it was. He was a bit disappointed she had not sat in the love seat with him, for he loved to mention how he had hunted the zebra himself and let them enjoy how comfortable it was beside him, but he was not discouraged. He knew he could turn on the charm and have her if he wanted, for it was clear in her eyes. "Oh, I have a rash." he jested, smiling wide to let her know it was only a joke. "Well, I expected you would have some questions for me doctor. The size of the crew, where we are going so you can pick the right supplies, and of course a budget for you to buy your supplies with." he said, taking a sip of the wine.
Lily was amazed on how much he had paid for a bottle of wine. five hundred gold pieces could've kept her fed for a long, long time. "Go ahead. That's pretty much all I need to know." she said, smiling at his joking. She took a small sip out of her glass. It instantly became her single most favorite wine. Dry and sweet, like most white wines. But it tasted better then any other type of wine she had before. No... No more. she commanded herself, putting down the wine. She barley drank alcohol.
Ulrich rubbed his goatee, thinking of how much he should need for crew, foodstuffs, and how much he could gouge from this man for personal items.
"I'd say....50 gold, and 30 silver would be sufficient, Mr. Grandtree."
[Sorry, I wish I could introduce my own character's items and such, but logically Scott would not just start thinking of his house randomly. Anyway, this is no fault of your own. Sorry to make you change things.]
