[Wow, that was completely my fault. I read your application and had a list of things, such as currency problems, time period issues, weird grammar, genetic modification, etc. etc. I have no idea why I never posted it, could have sworn I PMed it to you, but upon inspection, no such message was sent. I was sitting here waiting for you to edit your application like I thought I had requested. My apologies, but as Muttonhawk (By the way, thank you sir) has said, it needs editing. Thing is, in this RP, you get two chances to get your application right, so this is your last chance. If I deny it this time you are denied forever, so make it count. Thank you for your time and effort.]
Lily gulped the rest of her wine down, and stumbled out of bed. She lazily pulled off her necklace and bracelets leaving the one on her leg. Setting them down on the small table next to the bed, she walked over to the door, quickly locking it. "One more day..." she croaked, sliding back in to bed.
Cole groaned. His back was stiff from being in one position for such a long time. He pulled his head off of the table, wiping the strand of saliva that had dribbled down from his mouth while he had been sleeping. The invitation was tightly gripped in his hand, crumpled. Leaning back, Cole stretched.
"It's Saturday... ship leaves tomorrow. Though the invitation is quite vague... I hope we don't have to pay some sort of fare," he muttered to himself, slowly getting up. He picked up his lute and headed for the door. Sticking his head out the door, he looked around, making sure he saw no familiar faces. Convinced that the coast was clear, he walked outside. The moonlight shone onto the near-empty streets. "I'll be there early, just in case," he said to himself.
[Alright, since it does not seem as if Feokris will be available to post for a while, I will just time skip to tonight and deal with our encounter when she is ready. So, everyone should be moving on to Saturday now except Anna.]

Time: 1:46 A.M.
Scott galloped through the streets on Streak, his black stallion. He had gotten Streak when he was 16 and had broken it himself and now it sat in his stables, studding with racing mares. He rode it occasionally, but his rides had become less and less frequent with age, but with the trip coming soon he knew he had to exercise him once more. He counted the houses as he came down the street and stopped at the seventh one, where Fredrick had informed him Lily lived. He strode the horse up to the door and hopped off. "Stay still Streak, and I will give you a juicy apple." he whispered into the horses ear, rubbing it's nose. He approached the door and straightened his hair and coat before knocking thrice. The night was brisk but where he planned to take them it did not matter.

[It has always said we were moving to Saturday, I promise. :wink.gif:]
"Who's darr?" she slurred loudly, falling out of bed. She was quite angry, which only escalated when she fell out of bed. She looked over at the clock, It looked like two something, but she couldn't see properly in her groggy state. Who the hell could it be at this time of night... She thinks, rubbing her eyes.
Cole continued to walk to the general direction, his own thoughts churning in his mind. He was nervous. He looked up with a start when the hoot of an owl far away reached him and almost dropped his lute case. He instantly regretted coming out so early.
"It's your boss, now get dressed, or not, but whatever you do get out here. We are wasting moonlight." he yelled through the door. he was tempted to just kick it down, but thought better of it. He leaned up against the wall beside her door and waited for her to exit. (Wasting moonlight... I like how that sounds and the odd irony behind it.)
Cole's shallow breaths broke the silence. He could hear them, the ones who always pursued him, mugging him of his money. He cursed silently. "I knew I shouldn't have come out so early... so stupid," he muttered. He started walking faster, towards a faint figure a bit away, standing next to a doorway. But alas, Cole tripped on a rock in the dim night, sprawling on the floor. Three men appeared out behind him, slowly sauntering up towards the sprawled Cole. "Well, look who we found," the pudgy one sneered.
[Ah, so you are out the same time I am. Very good, I was about to ask if you were. Scott will be right there.]
[AYFTracks, AnnaFanna]
Scott heard a man trip and chuckled to himself and looked for the man. It was then he noticed the three men surrounding him and realized what was going on. He sighed and decided he probably ought to help the man. He strode up to Streak and drew his cutlass from the sheath at the horses side and approached the men. "No trouble here right?" he asked, annoyed that he had to deal with such idiocy.
[Would you prefer to control those NPCs or would you like me to?]
"Scott? No, go away! I don't even know how you found me..." she muttered, putting on her bracelets and her necklace. She hadn't even bothered to undress, she was too tired when she fell asleep. She debated whether to open the door or not, but decided against it. That's when she heard Scott say something else, defiantly not pertaining to her. Yup... Staying in here.
((I don't mind if you do. Just control them as the typical, rogue muggers.))
[Mr_Grandtree]
Cole looked away, not able to face his attackers. One kicked him in the stomach, forcing him to curl up, groaning with pain. At that moment, he heard someone else, possibly the one he saw a bit away say a couple words. He grimaced as he looked in the direction, seeing a pair of feet walking towards them.
"Look fellows, I have other business to attend to, so kindly leave." he said, trying very hard to be polite.
"Oh, yea we will leave, right after you give us your money buddy." the man said, who must have noticed the good amount of gold on his clothing or perhaps his jewel encrusted blade. The man took a step towards Scott and released a soft moan and fell over. He held his throat and looked up at Scott with amazement, confusion and fear. He choked a moment and his eyes went into his head.
"Damned shame," Scott said without any pity. "I always do enjoy the look on a man's face before he dies though. Always very interesting to see how each man dies differently. Your friend there was a coward," he said, still looking at the body. The other two men drew knives, but knew better than to approach a man with a real sword. They shuffled their feet nervously for a moment and began backtracking. Scott watched for a moment and decided to spare their lives, but only because he had to get back to Lily. He reached down to the body and drew the man's knife and tossed it to the ground near the boy who had tripped. "Stay safe," he said, still staring at the dead man's face. He turned and began walking back to the doorway. "You better get your cute little ass out here before I wake everyone up in this whole damned neighborhood," he yelled, adrenaline still a bit high and patience running thin. "I am not afraid to break the door down."
William woke up with a yawn. It's Saturday. What was I- Oh. Grandtree wants me to get supplies, doesn't he? Well I'm not wasting my hammers or boards for this trip, and I have no money for this damned ship. William thought about it some more, and decided to go to Grantree's mansion to get gold for the supplies. ((I'll wait for you guys to finish up your night rendevous before I go up to the mansion))
Cole stared at the man in amazement. "How... wha..." his voice trailed off. "Thank you..." he slowly stood back up as the man left, picking up the dagger, with a sad face. "I don't even know how to use this," he mumbled, pocketing it. With one more side glance at the dead body, he shuffled on, past the man waiting at the door.
"Alright, alright! Just please keep your voice down..." Lily said, slowly walking out the door. She locked it, turning back around. The first thing that caught her attention was the limp figure on the ground. She had heard most of the commotion, but didn't know that someone had died. She had seen her fair share of dead people, but not quite as fresh. "What are you doing here?" she asked in a hushed tone.
"I was bored." he said simply and loudly. "Now, have you ever rode a horse before, because you are about to." he said, hopping on Streak, sheathing the bloody cutlass and reaching his hand out to help her up. "We are going to be at sea for a long time, so I plan to enjoy land as much as possible before then."
Cole, still walking towards the port, started thinking of some tunes to play during the day. "Might as well do what I want to do while I wait for tomorrow," he muttered. He pulled out his lute, and started cleaning and tuning it.
[Mr_Grandtree]
"Yeah, Just once though..." she mumbled, grabbing onto his hand. Scott heaved her up on the horse. She glanced a final time at the dead body. I'm not cleaning that up...
