Bleu, still ignoring the Nekkri child, watched in a slight terror as the dragon passed his hiding place. He readied his sword, and as he passed by them, attempted to jump onto the dragon's large front knee, hoping to go straight to a vital organ and impale it. To do so he jumped off a dead cowman's carcass, his broadsword in one hand. His insanely large body mass was surprisingly fast, and he ran with a tremendous speed. As he jumped... his food snagged on the dead monstrosity's leather garb, and he faceplanted right into the path of the dragon. He raised his hands at the last moment, his act of bravery possibly crippling or even killing him. The Draken reached out with his hand to the child, who stood several feet away in the garden.
As Dracul passed a certain point, he wrinkled his nose, suddenly catching a strong feline scent. "Ugh. I don't want to be eating that. Smells repulsive," Dracul growled. Suddenly, while he was talking to himself, something plopped into the ground in front of him. A being, larger than humans, yet only came about two thirds up his shin laid in the dirt in front of him. Bemused, Dracul peered down with one eye. "Hrm. What's this?"
I heard some shuffling a couple feet away from me, and curiosity got the best of me. I peeked my head out a little to see Bleu hop out towards the dragon, attempting to attack the massive beast. But, comically, and also quite dangerously, he trips up on a cowman's corpse. I drop my bag and dash to where the foolish lizard was hiding earlier. I was quite torn between going out for him, or subduing to the anxiety that filled my veins. My ears unfortunately caught the foul words that the dragon spoke. My anger nearly got the better of me, but I thought about the consequences if I did something rash.
Bleu sighed in relief that he was not crushed, swiftly rolling out and grabbing his sword. He reluctantly pushed it through a belt loop, sheathing it. "Greetings, uh... Mighty beast. I thank you for not crushing me to the point my insides explode. That'd ruin my good day." He nervously smiled, hoping his jokes would win over the dragon. The Draken scratched the back of his scaled neck, and spoke, "Er, what's your name, Dragon?" Bleu smiled, his bottom teeth showing through it. He secretly did a thumbs up to the Nekkri child, hoping the dragon did not see.
Dracul ignored what the Draken said to him, and simply asked, "I'm hungry. What can I eat?" They obviously saw him as a slow creature, even though Dracul could see the other being hiding to the side, interacting with the one in front of him with hand gestures.
Bleu rubbed his neck again. "Well uh... we've got some freshly dead Cowmen. And a few villagers. Some crops, for a nice salad, if you're up for it... Uh, I think one of these houses keeps some livestock." He points to the old man's house, who is peering through the window several meters away. The old man shrieks, and runs out back to his favorite pig, leaving the other three cows. The Draken frowns at the dragon, hoping he'll choose one of those and not him and his new companion.
Dracul grimaced, and turned away. "All that? I hate human animals. Tastes disgusting. Hm, I've never tasted the likes of you though..." he murmured, eying the Draken.
Bleu shimmies back a few feet, and cannot stop rubbing his neck. "Well uh, I'm too hard and scaly to eat. You'd have to take days to fully digest me, and, besides... why would you hurt an innocent Draken? I'm just here for some fo-" The Draken bolts off, running intensely to the forest, over 100 meters away. Bleu has almost no chance of making it if the dragon decides to harm him.
"Well, Bacon is pretty good!" I grimaced at the thought of this dragon eating Bleu, even if I only just met the guy. It's just kind of rude that some high and mighty dragon would barge in and eat somebody I just met! I kept my dagger ready, in case it came to worse things. I honestly did not want to face off against a freaking dragon, but if this thing came for a buffet, then it will get one. Suddenly, Bleu runs off into the forest. I couldn't blame him, being put down on the dinner list. I just kind of wish I wasn't alone up against such an opponent.
** Was eating mexican, sorry. I believe it's Tracks's turn, I dunno what to put. He can continue it. If he doesn't post soon I'm leaving, bedtime in an hour.
Dracul didn't understand what the Draken was blabbling about, but he could see the tell-tale signs of a prey about to bolt. And just as he predicted, as he was watching the Draken, it bolted off, heading for the tree-line. Dracul grinned an evil smile. "I like to chase. The satisfaction of bringing a creature down, and ripping it apart to shreds," Dracul growled. With a deafening roar, Dracul bounded of the ground, the initial leap sending him over the tops of the building and over the Draken. With his tail, he blocks off all escape routes, and turns towards it. "Now. What were you saying? And please, I don't have the time to be chasing you around," Dracul growled, looking at the Draken in the eye. He flicked up a pig, and swallowed it whole, grimacing at it's taste. "I'm not hungry anymore, so it's alright."
** SCREW YOU, MAN. D: haha. Post quick, bedtime in 15. *
<Bleu, 3rd.>
Bleu trembled, dropping to his knees. "Well, I wanted to make nice, but, you're intimidating, dragon. You make even me, a fearless man, drop to his knees and beg for his life. I may have found this knight's sword, but good equipment is only one safety..." Bleu, in a sudden burst of confidence, was enlightened. He played a battle song in his head, ready for whatever came to him. "I hope you'll spare my life, for the battle between us would ravage for a long while if we did have conflict, dragon." Bleu unsheathed his sword, and got up. His fear was gone. The scaled eyes of his shifted at the dragon, and a cold stare was unleashed. He was ready to fight to the death if it came to it, he was no longer afraid of death. "Dragons do not merely hunt for hunger. You look bored to me. I'm sure you'd just as easily attack me as you did the jump that brought you here. I simply wanted to know your name, eh? Would I be able to receive it?"
Dracul couldn't hold it in. He starts laughing, a deep, growling laughter. "You make me laugh. Whew, I haven't laughed so hard in such a long time." He regains composure, and stoops down, looking the Draken in the eye with his left eye. "Enough. I don't want you to make a fool of yourself in front of your new-found friend." He promptly opened his mouth, and breathed his frosty breath over the Draken, causing the surrounding moisture in the air to solidify around him, ultimately making him a living ice cube. "Don't go fooling around, you're going to get yourself killed without any sort of dignity like that," Dracul growled to the frozen statue.
** I'ma godmode a little here, just to show the power of this draken. Drakens are ****ing powerful. Sorry. Shoulda probably said something other then "breath" because that's a light mist, which is only a small coat of ice. *
<Bleu, 3rd>
Bleu, a now frozen figure, was covered in a mist of frost and ice. It disabled him, the coat of ice. Since he is cold-blooded the frost does not harm him greatly, but all he can do is thump on the ice in what little space inside he has, and barely speak. He mumbles out garbled speech, "I canthh getthh outthhh. Youuuth willthh paythhh." The Draken pounds on his cage, and due to his past, spending so much time in a cage he was able to break out of, he broke down. He was finally caught, and he could do nothing. The pain and panic inside of him was like no other, and all he could do was rock back and forth, screaming. "RAAAAAAAAAAAH! RAAAH! RAH! RAAAAH!" The ice cage started budging a bit, but was not close to breaking. Of course, his intense shaking and pounding in his pen made him wobble a bit. After two seconds of wobbling, with what seemed to be frozen time, he crashed to the ground in his cage. The already cracked surface was too weak, and even a dragon's breath, a light whisper, was able to be broken out of. The ice shards collapsed to the rocky, mountainous area covered in boulders and pebbles. The Draken's panic overcame him, and he was ready to fight. Grabbing his sword, propelling off the ground as a runner does when starting a race, he rushed the dragon, his eyes stricken, hoping to stab and slice whatever he could before he was frozen forever by the dragon's full might.
Dracul raised his bony brow, in slight impression. "Hm. So you managed to break out of my little wisp. I commend you, for not one you size has managed to do that. But then again, you're reptilian. Or amphipian," he rambled on. he was amused of this fellow. However, went it screamed with rage, and leaped at Dracul, Dracul's primal instincts kicked in. Before the Draketh reached him, Dracul hit him out of the air, like a ball, with his large tail, sending him to the ground. "Watch yourself. I warned you, don't take a bite too large for you to handle. Luckily I'm in a good mood right now," he growled in warning.
Bleu collapsed, the what seemed to be a minor throwing severely injured his lungs from the force. He gasped for breath, laying against a massive tree. The heavily armored beast was prone to organ failure, and it seems that weakness was just exploited. His lungs were not filling, and he could do nothing but twitch. The Draken was already injured near death.
My ears picked up a bunch of rustling and some illegible speaking in the far distance. Fortunately, I heard two voices, so that meant Bleu was still alive. And so was the dragon. I took off from my hiding place and followed where the noise last came from, with hopes that Mr Dragon isn't thinking of, or already has eaten my acquaintance.
