Tower of Casandora
Once in the distant past, the realm of Aonia had almost succumbed to the eternal darkness threatening the existence of all that is good. The dark lord and his twelve guardians had started a war against all races of Aonia which starts the beginning of the Dark ages. Aonia had suffered greatly from numerous wars against the legion, the unending war had spread despair across the land of Aonia. Just when all hope seems to be lost, the great heroes were sent by the heavens to aid the races of Aonia against the evil dark lord. After countless victories achieved by the heroes, the dark lord and his twelve guardians had finally been defeated which return peace back to the land of Aonia. The End.
"That was awesome!" said the boy lying in his bed with his eyes glittering in admiration.
"Alright time for bed" said his mother as she closes the book of bedtime stories and kiss the boy forehead before leaving.
"Mom? do you think the dark lord will ever come back again?" the boy asked
His mother let a out a slight giggle before answering her son's question "I'm sure the heroes will be there for us honey, maybe this time you could be our hero as well Juno"
The boy smiles at his mother and went to sleep.

Rokru, The Skeleton Lord
Skeleton remains of both enemies and allies had gathered by the call of the Dark Lord, many it clump on top of each other and finally fused into one being of pure terror 'Rokru, The Skeleton Lord". After the success of the fusing process, Rokru went down on one knee while plunging his sword to the ground to control his balance. He look around and observe his surrounding, the place is still filled with skeleton corpses and weapons showing that he is still within the floor he controls in the tower of Casandora. He slowly rest his hand on his face trying to sort out his clouded memories without much success but while trying so he got a telepathic message from the Dark lord to assemble at the Throne room at floor thirteen for an emergency meeting. Rokru without delay head for the floor exit and teleport himself to floor thirteen. There the dark lord awaits sitting on his throne, but his appearance is no more than a shade of darkness.
In the great arena of the first floor, an armored man bursts through the sand-pit, crawling his way back to reality. He stands up, catching his breath. He doesn't remember much, but he knows he has a master, and that is all he needs to know. Suddenly, a sharp, familiar voice cut into his thoughts: Greetings, guardians. Welcome back. Report to my chambers immediately. Chambers? The number 13 fades into his mind. As he focuses on the number, it begins to grow more solid, and his surroundings fade instead. Aulwin finds himself standing before the Dark Lord's throne, beside a colossal skeletal man.
Within the cavelike 8th floor, a weak flame burns. It suddenly flares up as something swirls around it, and materializes into a blood-red dragon, who collapses on the ground. Getting back up on her four strong legs, Dral'Nasraki looks around, trying to recover her memories of this place, but to no avail. However, she did hear a deep, powerful voice speak telepathically to her, "Welcome back, my guardians. Assemble in my throne room at the thirteenth floor."
"Master," rasped the dragon. Spreading her wide wings, she flew out of the exit and was teleported to the thirteenth floor, where a huge armored warrior, three fiery demons, and a powerful-looking skeleton, her fellow guardians, stood in front of the throne of the Dark Lord.

The icy chill filled up the room as the four guardians enter the room, "Guardians... it has been too long.." the Dark Lord speaks up in his broken voice. "It seems like... we have lost the great war against the Aonia forces..." The dark shade raise his hand and display a type of unknown sorcery which engulf his hand with an eerie black flames "My power.... must have been sealed away by the heroes... but the seal have been weaken... i can sense it...." he took a glance at the four guardians then continue "I have used my remaining power to revive as many guardians as could.... Rokru, Calamitas, Aulwin and Dral'Nasraki... you four are currently the remaining guardians of Casandora... You all shall find a way to break me free of this seal... so that the Dark Age shall return once more...". "But first.. we must know the current status of Casandora.. Rokru and Dral'Nasraki you two will secure the north while Aulwin and Calamitas you two will secure the south... do what you must and return to report your finding at sun down..." said the Dark Lord issue a command to the four guardians.
1. The Dark Lord current form is only but a shade of his former self, losing the majority of his power by the sealing done by the heroes.
2. A general idea of what the Dark Lord's Throne room looks like.
Rokru, The Skeleton Lord
Rokru was the first to arrive but the others was shortly after him, Calamitas, Aulwin and Dral'Nasraki. He remember their names but other memories about them are a blur or lost, all of them however does posses an aura worthy of floor guardians. Once all of the guardians have assemble the Dark Lord speaks up and inform them about their current situation and fact that Casandora have lost the great war. Rage filled up inside Rokru knowing that the he and the supreme Casandora had lost to the mere forces of Aonia, "Impossible... we lost?.. Impossible!!" he thought to himself. After the explanation the Dark Lord issue a command to the four remaining guardians to secure the surrounding of Casandora, "At once master" Rokru exit the throne room and teleport to the main entrance witnessing the foggy forest that surround the tower. Rokru draw his sword and slash one of the nearby tree which crumble and almost instantly turn to dust "They will pay..." said the skeleton lord.
After the Dark Lord finished speaking, Dral'Nasraki wanted to roar in rage after hearing of the defeat, but there was no time to be angry. "Yes, Master." she said, and flew out of the exit, soaring over the misty forest, keeping an eye on the Skeleton Lord moving through the trees below.
Hearing the speech of the Dark One sent a shiver down Aulwin's spine, yet filled him with a strange hope. "I'll scout the land south of the castle at once, my lord." Aulwin stepped through the elaborate gateway, finding himself in a foggy forest. Seeing the various signs of destruction from the other three guardians drew a sigh to his lips. Not a great idea to draw attention to ourselves so early. Aulwin gazed southward, watching the horizon. The biggest threat to the tower right now is a town or city. I would be the best one to find such a place, given the... unearthly nature of my companions. With this thought, Aulwin marches south, looking for roads, bridges, or any other sign of civilization.

Moving further to the south near the forest exit Aulwin and Calamitas stumble upon a small village located quite some distance away from the forest but both place are visible to one and another. From within a forest an approximate of 20 household can be seen, children running around while the adults are busy chopping up woods from the forest. On the other hand, Dral'Nasraki and Rokru who venture up north find themselves at a footing of wall of mountains that surround the north side of the forest. Walking closer to the mountain the two find a strange entrance of a cave into the mountain with runes engraving on its side.
Rokru, The Skeleton Lord
The armored skeleton keep on his march deeper into the north side of the forest. He sense numerous creatures that reside within the forest, what he had senses was in fact their fears after witnessing the colossal evil walking within the forest. After some distance, the two guardians found themselves at the base of an enormous mountain that barricade the area. After a close inspection of the area, Rokru saw a strange cave that is engrave with runes, the runes somehow was very familiar to him. A flash of images run through his memories reminding him of the runes he once know. "Runes from the Great War..." Rokru mutter to himself. He signal Dral'Nasraki who was flying above about his discover so she could come down and have a look and possibly get her memories of these runes back as well.
Gareth thought that he was dead. Where else could he have been? He'd been stuck in an empty void for what felt like days and came to the conclusion that nothing was here. He had to have seen something by now, right?
But then he heard, something, something very loud to point that Gareth believed he would become deaf. And then there was nothing, again, although, now he realized that he could open his eyes. Light blinded him, but after a few moments he could make out his surroundings. There was a large field encompassed by trees in front of him, but in this field there was a long valley with a river passing through it between two hills. Gareth was unable to make out where the river went, it seemed that it had no destination, and that it's edges were not static, but rather dynamic, moving every which way. Pools of red liquid, likely to be blood, flowed in the water, being carried and dissipated by the river's current. At that moment, another deafening noise shook the room. Gareth turned around and saw that a fortress, with walls of iron and stone and with spouts of fire had materialized behind him.
He was pleased to see such a structure, assuming it to be his own. As he was advancing towards it, he heard noises in his head. Something was trying to tell him something. Gareth resisted, but whatever it was managed to get "Floor Thirteen" into his head. At that moment, Gareth was standing in front of the essence of the being that had killed him.

"It would be a shame for one of your skills to disappear into dust..." said the Dark Lord staring at Gareth within a form of a black shade. "The start of the Dark Age has begun.. would you not side with the victor?.." the Dark Lord jest, "but that does matter not for now you already bound to me.." a immense force pressure the throne room as he display his might to the new guardian restricting his movement, the effect however was quickly diminish due to the weaken state of the Dark Lord. "Serve me as the 2nd guardian of Casandora, and you shall be a part those who will rule them all..." said the Dark Lord offering a position to the soul that could not refuse.
Aulwin raised a hand to his chin. "Calamitas. Keep scouting the south, look for any landmarks. I'll take a closer look." With that said, Aulwin assumes his wraith form, and zooms to the outskirts of the hamlet, where he materializes in a thick cluster of trees.

Gareth considered what the Dark Lord said. On one hand, it's difficult to serve what kills you. On the other, he didn't have much choice. Gareth concluded that the Dark Lord shared similar motives to his own. "I can not deny your offer. I wish to be part of your legions," he paused, stuttering to find a word he'd never used to refer to something else, "My Lord." Gareth may have chosen to return to his eternal sleep had The Dark Lord's motives not matched his, though, they did. They both sought to conquer everything that was known and then everything else. Gareth was not necessarily in it to control everything, but rather to be remembered... speaking of which, how long had he been dead? Had he even been dead? The last time he remembered, The Dark Lord was incredibly powerful, but now seemed relatively weak, though still stronger than Gareth himself. "Dark Lord, have you anything that requires my service?"
Dral'Nasraki, taking notice of the Skeleton Lord trying to catch her attention, descended slowly. Despite causing a loud thump as her feet made contact with the ground, it was a pretty soft landing for someone as colossal as she was. Following the Skeleton Lord to the cave mouth, she caught sight of the engravings in the walls, glowing with a faint light. "Runes... they seem to have been carved during an age long past. Power emanates from them... strong, but suppressing."

The village was the embodiment of peaceful nothing seems to be going wrong, people working together, helping each other and taking care of each other. Aulwin who have been hiding behind one of the tree close by heard a conversation between two villagers who seems to be busy chopping up woods. "You're doing a great job young man, you might have been born to chop up woods you know?" said the older man with experience. The young man reply "I'm not going to chop woods for the rest of my life you know, I'm going to join the guild and become a hero! that is my life's goal" the young man speak of his dream with an ambitious tone. The old man raise an eyebrow and let out a laugh "Hahaha is that so well good luck to you then, the entrance exam is two days from now right? you better leave early tomorrow so that you make it there on time" the old man pause for a thought "the closes entrance exam spot is Zalfari Town no?" the young man reply energetically "Yea i'll make it there on time if i leave early tomorrow".
On the other side, Rokru and Dral'Nasraki had found a cave with it's wall engrave with runes of the great war. Rokru step up with his daring personality and tries to enter the cave however a zap of light struck the skeleton lord sending him flying a couple of distance away knocking down a tree behind. The runes glows for a moment and turn back to normal. Rokru quickly stood up and speak "Dral'Nasraki do you feel it...? the power of the heroes.... what are they protecting inside this cave..". Rokru went silent and lost in his thought for a moment "Dral'Nasraki, let us go back and report our findings it is almost sun down" after he finish speaking to face the tower direction and walk back.
At the throne room, "It is almost sun down Gareth.... the other four guardians should be returning soon" said the Dark Lord. "A lot had happened in your absence.." the Dark Lord began to speak about the fall of the tower and the resurrection of the guardians as well as the goal to return himself to the power he once hold. A flash of information went to the Dark Lord telepathically "It seems like i still hold more power than what i originally thought i had left... I sense a coming of another resurrected guardian" the Dark Lord let out a grin beneath the shadow form is.
With a flap of her mighty wings, Dral'Nasraki ascended into the crimson sky, perfectly blending in as she made her way to the Tower. Entering the throne room, the great dragon approached the Dark Lord and told him about the runes in the cave. "They seem to be suppressing our power, Master," she reported, "the heroes must have carved them to protect against us... and win the war."
Gareth heard all of the news. He wondered how he could have even been revived if he'd truly been dead, or if he'd been dead at all. He clearly remembered being in a black void for what felt like days, and had he not had a strong will, he might have gone mad.
Gareth was about to speak back to The Dark Lord, but other people appeared in the throne room. Well people is a very broad term. There was a human, but, there were also other creatures. Gareth concluded that these were the other guardians The Dark Lord was talking about, but before he'd reasoned this out, Gareth already had a hand on sword at his hip. One of them reports to The Dark Lord something about runes. Gareth stays quiet for the moment.
Aulwin memorizes the boy's features, realizing the significance of this discovery. As he melted into the shadows and darted back to the tower, the sun sank under the horizon, the blood-red light perhaps symbolizing the end of a peaceful era, and the violence to inevitably follow. Aulwin entered the great foggy gate, emerging in his master's quarters. He noted the return of the Harbinger, and a strange man he had never seen before. He can wait. I'll deal with him later, if needed. Aulwin approached the Dark Lord, and knelt. "My Lord. I have found something of great interest to our cause."

Suddenly another being enter the throne room, it was Aelis, Harbinger of Storms. “My Lord, what have I missed?” ask Aelis, which the Dark Lord reply “Many things had happened..” he send a telepathic wave of condense information to Aelis allowing her to follow on with the other guardians. “Guardians... Gareth, Commander of the Forsaken here shall be the new 2nd Floor guardian from now on... i can assure you that his skills is worthy of our ranks” said the Dark Lord. “I could no longer sense Urias, the Claret Sword... the former 2nd Floor guardian.. it seems like he was truly destroyed during the Great War and could not be resurrected” Dark Lord went silent for a moment regretted the lost of his Guardian.
“Now to the report.. it seems like there's a cave on the northern side that belongs to the heroes... the runes... I shall personally investigate this further” the Dark Lord raise his hand and a group of Dark Shade entity similar to what the Dark Lord himself looks like currently appear out of thin air, the shadow gather and receive an order then vanished within seconds. The report then continues “The Guild.. that disgusting place that give birth to heroes...” the mentioning of the Guild had raise the Dark Lord’s anger however it was quickly subside by an interesting thought. “An entrance exam...” a cunning scheme had been planned within the Dark Lord’s mind. “Guardians... new order.. you all shall be participating in this entrance exam of the guild..” with a snap of his finger the Dark Lord’s black energy surround the six guardians turning their appearance into that of a human. “This will do as a disguise... you all shall become a part of the guild and gather information from within... be prepared... for your travel start early tomorrow.. dismissed” said the Dark Lord giving out his order.
The next day arrived and guardians assemble within the forest with a clear sight of the boy that Aulwin had described. The young boy bring out his map and check out the route before continuing to walk forward, this will then start the journey for both the ambitious young boy and the evil guardians.

The Dark Lord listen as the guardians report their findings, the Dark Lord compliment them for their service and move on.
