In the heart of a sunny, urban town lies an apartment complex called the Haven Complex. The Haven Complex was founded by a vampire by the name of Evelyn Winters as a place for all the other supernaturals to stay, a place where they could live without having to constantly hide themselves. This had long been a dream of Evelyn who had been born a pure blooded vampire, unable to enter the public eye in fear of revealing herself for much of her life. Some called her a dreamer, some even called her delusional, but she kept on with her dream and and, after some funding, 1998 marked the opening of the Haven Complex. On the outside, the Haven complex is a lavish apartment complex filled with the elite and wealthy of society, open to none but a select few, chosen through a careful process. There are no windows except for those towards the very top of the building and the doors are always locked. All in all, the Haven complex is a mysterious building, many assuming for the comfort of the rich residents who wish for some privacy. In all honesty, the "apartment complex for the wealthy" thing is only for show. The residents of the apartment complex are what humans would call the supernatural. It's been over a decade since the opening of the Haven Complex and, during this period, the Haven Complex has found itself near bankrupt and in need of money. In a desperate attempt to get the money needed to keep this complex up and running, the complex has now been open to humans who are willing to pay the price. Now, with the human residents moving in, the Haven Complex's supernatural residents must keep their true identities hidden from the mundanes who just moved in.
Hello And Welcome To The Haven Complex. Yes, I Know The Plot above is copied from the OOC Thread with some minor adjustments, but there was no better way to explain this roleplay (In my opinion, anyway.)
Each character will start off in some area of the complex.
The Complex:
The Haven Complex Is a Ten Story building, the upper four levels holding nothing more then apartments. Below that, On the first level is, of course, the lobby and reception area. Also on the first floor is a large indoor pool. On the second level are some of the rooms, along with a small arcade and a fitness room. On the third level, there are more rooms, and a large library. The fourth level is made up of nothing more then rooms for the staff of the complex. On the fifth level of the complex, is a large dining hall and cafeteria open round the clock. The rest of the floors are rooms, though on the roof of the building there is a small lounging area.

Non Crestfallen
A strange teen have finally arrive at his new apartment, he quickly enters the building with a strangely massive size luggage. After a long explanation about the complex by the reception, Non receive the key to his room that is located on the sixth floor. The luggage he was carrying did have some difficulties in entering the lift but Non still manage to pull it through luckily for him that no one seems to be using the lift on that time since his luggage pretty much fill up the majority of the space. After quite a struggle Non finally made it to his room, he swiftly unpack his luggage right away after a quick the scan of his room measuring the area in his mind. Apart from a section of his bag that contain the typical belonging such as clothes, most of space within belong to his arts that he brings with him, he then spend some of his time arranging his stuff and put his work on display. "eh, this will do for now" Non put on his white jacket and search for one of his drawing book to bring with him as he walk out of his room. he headed straight for the rooftop a place where he think his inspiration might strike, upon reaching his destination he take a moment to look around the area. he settle close by the fence that surround the area while he gaze at the town below, he took out his pencil and start his sketch right away.

Ashlynn, resident of the eight floor of the Haven Complex building, paced in circles in her room wondering what she would do with the extra time she had before she needed to go to work. She hadn't slept for more than an hour in the recent weeks. She finally stopped pacing and decided on going down to the cafeteria for some breakfast. After throwing on her outfit and running a brush through her hair a couple of times, she walked out the door and took the elevator down to the fifth floor. Though there weren't many others out of their rooms at the time, Ashlynn still greeted any passing resident she saw with a cheerful smile and a wave.
Walking into the cafeteria, Ashlynn made her way over to the nearest coffee machine and poured herself a large mug full. Coffee in hand, she walked over to one of the breakfast tables to take a look at this morning's selection of food. She settled on a cream cheese bagel and a couple strips of bacon. "Today's breakfast sure looks good!" Ashlynn said to herself, walking over to the tables. She sat down and ate her meal, finishing it up rather quickly. After finishing her food, Ashlynn decided to head down to the Library to waist the extra time she had left. She went back to the elevator, this time heading down to floor three.
When she arrived at the library, Ashlynn skimmed the shelves looking for a good book before finally settling on one called "The Secret Garden" By Frances Hodgson Burnett. Book in hand, she found a quiet seat and began reading.
Xavier looks up at the building "So this is the Haven Complex... looks pretty interesting. I wonder what it's like inside" He blinks a couple times to get the sun out of his eyes, and cautiously opens the door, stepping inside. He lets his eyes adjust to the different level of light, although that doesn't take very long. The first floor appears to be what's pretty normal for a hotel, reception area and a lobby. He could smell the chemicals, so there was obviously a pool. Shame he didn't have a swimsuit. He'd have to swim in his normal clothes then. That is, if he went in the pool at all. He didn't really like areas of water, despite them making up the majority of the surface of the world. He shrugged and walked up to the reception area, ringing the little bell thing to get the staffs attention
So this is what they've been hiding, Brent thought, barely intrigued. He had only heard of the Haven Complex within the past month as he searched for some abode to make his own, and the mystique of the place had yet to grow on him. Seeing the lobby now made him no more impressed: the building was hardly more elegant than a dozen hotels he had visited in the past thirty years. He supposed that with such minimal publicity, appearances could be kept efficient in this place. And all the same, he reminded himself, it's precisely to escape appearance that I came here.
I'm sure this place will be fine.
Brent was reassured.
The apartment Brent had bought was on the eighth floor - high enough to avoid disturbances, but distant from the raucous parties one might expect from rich penthouse proprietors. Brent had assumed a lot of things in buying property here, but he had made these assumptions knowing that any reasonable franchise - especially one with prices as exorbitant as the Haven Complex's - would work within its power to accommodate him should he request it. He intended to request it if the need arose; these final years of his would be as peaceful as he could make them or they would be useless to him, would they not?
The doors opened with a soft hiss, their 'whir' disappearing behind the veil of the other sound. Exiting the lift brought Brent into a quiet hallway. He appreciated that he need not speak with anyone today, nor give them a friendly nod of greeting at least until the morrow. A muffled thud sounded behind one of the doors nearest to the elevator, but it did not alarm him. With care not to strain himself, he shuffled slowly towards his room. His suitcase trailed behind him, wheels churning out a pattern of squeaks.
The apartment was not so far that he tired, and he opened the door with solemnity. Lights blared too brightly when he flipped a switch; he turned them off and relied instead on a light in the bathroom which provided enough illumination in the main room that he could see his way to the bed. With a sigh, Brent sat and laid his head in his hands. Callouses scraped against thin, weathered skin.
After a moment, he stood to close the door. The hall was still empty. The lock clicked shut.

Seventy-one. How'd we get so old, Brent?
How I wish that I had known.
