Welcome to Blue Marble, the successor of the Planet!
So, this new 'Planet' does not have additional Moons, just one Planet. (Though it might change. Don't count on it though.)
It does, however, have biomes!
This is the map with biomes. It also has names of continents & seas now (Thanks to ZeBlueDevil). Don't use it to mark what your nation controls.
And here is one without biomes. Feel free to put your nation on it. Don't forget to add your Nation to the list on the right:
Rules:
1. No destroying someone else's Nation without permission from either the Nation's owner or the GM. Waging war is still allowed but discuss how the war should end in an OOC discussion so somebody isn't forcibly eliminated when they could surrender too (or something).
2. You are free to decide your own tech level, there is no 'standard' tech level. You're free to play a caveman civilisation while someone else has computers and such.
3. You are free to add your own 'NPC' nations/civilisations for you and others to interact with. The person who created an NPC civilisation controls it (Unless they give somebody else permission to control it).
4. First come, first served. Same goes for here. You can't claim things others have claimed, nor can you change someone else's environment. If someone is having a fantasy-like war with an Orc faction, you can't come in and say that there's a hyperadvanced civilisation there. The map is big enough for everyone, so try and respect each other. 5. Any weapon capable of levelling a city or stronger is not allowed. The most powerful weapons can destroy a bunch of troops instantly but nothing that can destroy entire armies, cities, etc.
HOWEVER, this does not justify using absurd amounts of a weapon to annihilate large portions of enemy forces/land. Keep Superweapon use to a minimum.
6. There are no flawless weapons. No shield is impenetrable, no weapon is flawless, no armour is invincible. Don't make weapons too powerful either. You'll ruin everyone's fun and will end up with a GM-Delivered retaliation.
7. If you go overboard, expect retaliation. If you don't play fair (by breaking the rules), don't expect me to either, and I might look the other way when someone breaks a rule to punish you for going overboard (By dropping superweapons on your empire after you continued waging war on others after they specifically told you to stop.)
8. If things escalate even further and it can't be stopped in-RP, I'll use my GM powers to put a stop to it. If I make a post with GM: [something], then that is FINAL, and you cannot oppose it. (So if I cause your empire to be destroyed with a GM post, you'll have to deal with it.)
9. Don't control things that don't belong to you.
10. Actions CANNOT be undone (unless you have Ninja Skills and manage to edit it out before anyone has a chance of reacting).
If a Nation becomes inactive (As in, it's user has stopped posting), the Nation will be taken over by me (Imagine it becoming an NPC Nation). You're free to take back the Nation at a later point in time but you can't undo anything that has happened up until that point.
Meanwhile, somewhere, a very annoyed looking person is at a holographic map of the planet. On the map are nine dots, slowly moving around.
"Sheesh. This place seems devoid of anything. Why was it so important to go here?"
The person sighs and sits down on the edge of a bed.
"I can't go against her orders though..."
Then, somebody knocks on the door.
"Come in."
The door slides open to reveal a girl with brown hair.
"Some scouts claim that they've spotted a portal!"
"It seems that we aren't alone after all. Good work. Order 4 and 9 to submerge. The rest are to patrol the seas."
"Yes sir!" the girl says as she hurries down the hallway.
"This'll be interesting. Let's see if we can make some profit here. Hell is still in debt, though nobody cares to tell me to whom..."
Meanwhile, 7 giant ships are patrolling the seas. Each ship similar to an aircraft carrier, but 13 kilometers long, with factories and other buildings on the top.
A swirling cloud of darkness appears over the set of mountains in the middle of the Blue Marble, a small figure promptly falls out of the cloud and into a reservoir of water near a small town in the mountains. The natives drag the figure out, he's clad in dark robes. They decide to nurse the mysterious stranger back to health.
The stranger quickly recovers and asks to see the leader of the town. The natives bring him to the director of a research station located on the mountain. The stranger then asks to speak with the man privately, his request is allowed.
A couple minutes later the stranger walks out of the directors office, the room full of flames.
"There seems to have been an accident," said the man when asked what happened, "Anyhow, I am now the ruler of this town now. The capital of my new empire shall be called Moriorvia."

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
In the middle of a small clearing in a forest, a small bright white dot appeared in a flash of light, scattering the nearby wildlife in all directions. The dot slowly grew while swirling faster and faster until it had formed into a large circle. The inside of the circle violently opened, revealing a swirling tunnel of white light behind it and out fell a large cluster of coloured balls. There were red, orange, yellow, green, blue purple and white coloured ones, all sitting on the ground motionless for a bit before an electrical flow passed through each of them. This reawakened their real forms as floating balls of light. People called them wisps from where they came from.
Shortly after, 3 equines not under the wisps control also fell through the same portal before it slowly closed down and sealed shut with another flash of light. There was no going back to where they were from, and for a very good reason. At least until they had the means to deal with the issue from the other world.
A portal is created on the ground and an armada marches out. A flag is planted onto the ground, and operations begin.
"At last," the lead person said, "the Eridian Pinnacle has mastered reality travel! At last will we be able to fight the Solarian tyrants on equal terms!"

The Equalist Union sends out a few scout ships. One of them is seen along the shorelines. It is 200 meters long and has the Equalist Union flag painted onto its side, they watch and scan the shoreline.
The Eridians have heard of the Equalist Union before, it was on a Sol Confederacy file found from the SSS Minerva. While Maximus Powers is treated as a hero, the Equalist Union is believed to be just as bad as Sol themselves. A missile is sent as a warning shot towards the ship, and intentionally misses but not by much.

The wisps regained their senses and looked around where they were. This place was far more hilly then where they were before, even including a mountain in the distance. The forest surrounding them was thick, barely letting in any light under the tree canopy. Rocks seemed to be scarce on the surface, so they picked up and pooled together what they could find, and distributed an even number of rocks between the 7 colours. They are going to need to start digging immediately if they are going to find enough power.

A single plane flies over their lands and watches what is going on.
The plane can see a small clearing with what appears to be coloured lights. The lights seem to be moving around though. However this is only a small part of the wisps, since most of them would be searching under the tree canopy or planning where to dig.

The plane lands and the android gets out and looks around.
The Equipment has been fully set up and the Equalist Union begins mining for resources.
As the plane lands in the clearing the wisps all fly off into the thick forest. It pains the wisps to leave most, if not all of their rocks behind in the clearing, but they have no choice if they don't want to risk danger by what appear to be the local people of this planet. While the forest is dark, the light of each wisp lets them see quite clearly. It also makes them quite obvious to anything else too.
A small hill with a cave in it's side has been found in the forest, and wisps begin to carve and extract some. However most of what this rock appears to be doesn't light up properly compared to other types, to the dismay of the wisps. They start carving the inside of the cave, at least a little bit is better then none at all.

The ship sends a message:"We mean no harm to you. We are the Equalist Union. Commanded by Sargent Starlight Glimmer." The Eridians notice that they call her Sergant. Something is off.
They just regard it as a change in position. A message is sent back. "We will not negotiate with such imperialist shmooks!"

The androids take note of the cave and keep searching for resources, still mining.
"Oh. You mean ones like Sol? Yeah we crushed them. Burned their buildings and put an end to their tyranny."
Something absurdly colored darts through the underbrush, away from the android. It makes absolutely no attempt to be silent whatsoever, and the snapping of twigs and rustling of leaves seem shockingly loud.
The androids take note of the cave and keep searching for resources, still mining.
The video the person is taking shows the clearing, the forest around it with faint coloured glows deep into the forest. The rocks below their feet are carved with random lines and glow the same colours that can be seen in the forest. The scan detects a small amount of magical energy in the air, with a much larger patch where the portal used to be.
The androids haven't found the cave, since it's in the forest, not where they are mining. While some wisps finish off carving the poor rock in the cave, others search around for other caves, eventually finding another with the same poor rock quality. Some of the wisps are frustrated with this. They weren't used to dealing with this sort of scavenging.

Despite its lack of stealth, or perhaps because of it, the colorful thing easily outpaces the android, sliding in between branches and brambles like a liquid. A yellow feather remains snagged on a low branch where the creature left it behind. Any other trace of it quickly vanishes, apart from a rustling that quickly merges with the dull sounds of the forest.

The yellow streak is met with what appears to be several balls of light cutting light shapes into the rock. The wisps are stunned, unsure how to react to the sudden intrusion into their cave. They slowly begin to back off further into the cave as their first reaction.
A few other caves are found, each containing the same poor quality of rocks. Whatever they have now will at least let them survive at this point, though expanding their numbers is a mistake at this point. They're going to have to start digging, and in the second cave, that's what they start doing.

Whatever it is holds still for long enough to get a good grip on its appearance, tweeting and twittering like it has no time to spare. It's scarcely larger than the wisps themselves, though its shape is obscured by its incredibly fluffy feathers. It' brilliantly yellow, with the edges of its undersized wings fading into a yellowed shade of lime. Behind its slender talons, it slips and scrabbles on a pair of green-flecked paws.
The tiny griffin seems just as terrorized as the wisps around it, attempting to run out of the cave before losing its footing and pitching onto its face.

A screeching sound is heard as an orange portal seemingly appears out of thin air. A huge black castle is dropped down from the sky onto the ground below, crushing wildlife and part of a forest.
The screaming from the initial impact changes to excited cheering, but it is quickly silenced by the hand of the man on the throne, Sarvius.
