Personality: Mako is, to be frank, not the most motivated of people. He tends to have the more laidback reaction to life and instead goes with the flow. That aside, he does always happen to be a fan of the more cosmic and spiritual aspects of life. More or less because he’s always able to think on it. He’s one for the exploration and adventure like any, but more prefers the calmer aspects of life. He’s a simple man of simple desires(more above anything peace), but he’s still a surprisingly complex thinker with a rather large pool of knowledge. While obviously having a humane touch to himself, Mako isn’t one bound by honor, with him deciding to do the necessary things to survive. He’s not heartless though as he will help an innocent if able. It’s further emphasized by a “end justifies the means” mentality to a certain extent. Sadly, his knowledge is also a bit squandered since he more often than not decides to take the easier route as opposed to truly testing himself. He still tries to be at least somewhat wise in decisions if the more difficult route is far more beneficial to him.
Appearance: Despite the name suggesting otherwise, Mako is of neither Japanese nor Hawaiian descent. However, he does have fairly tanned skin and has pretty shaggy brown hair that goes a slight bit down his neck. His eyes are the classic brown, with a hint of cocoa coloring actually. He stand at about 5’ 10’’ and has a fairly average teenaged build. Not too fat, but not too skinny. A bit of obvious muscle, but definitely nothing impressive. Sure as hell nothing close to a six pack. He tends to wear just classic cut blue jeans, some black sneakers, and a dark beige sweatshirt. His other notable piece of wear is his black beanie with the words “No Rules, No Time” sewn across it that he wears most of the time. The only other notable factor about him is the fact that his eyes are almost always half open. Not in an irritated or sad way, but more of a “I haven’t gotten that much sleep lately” way. It’s half guessed on what’s responsible for that.
Skills: He actually has a decent amount of combat experience due to one of his friend’s who practiced boxing teaching him a smidgen. More so, he actually did karate when he was younger(like 12 year old made it to a black belt), but is incredibly rusty in it due to this having been years ago. Mako’s most defining skill is his rationality, yet ability to think outside the box. He can think a situation over in a few different scenarios at a time and is generally decent at handling situations that are very chaotic in a calm manner. However, despite this thinking ability, he does know when he should just let instinct take over instead.
Background: Mako’s, for all things aside, lived life as a fairly normal human being. He lived in a small town, seemingly a village if one just went upon the main road that lead to the highway, with his sister and his single mother. He had a fairly decent number of friends. He’s been your middle of the road student for pretty much the entirety of his life. Always scoring about 80’s when people knew he could do better and the such with the occasional 90 and a few 70’s here and there. He asked more questions if anything persisted, with some teachers being fine with answering and other more annoyed. It wasn’t till High School where things got actually interesting for his life though.
Everyone always try to find their way in high school and for him, he probably didn’t choose the best way. What with drugs now being a thing at all and Mako always being the curious type, it was only a matter of time. However, he never did anything too intense as he always knew when he’s biting off more than he could chew. A bit of drinking, but more so a practitioner of the devil’s plan. He mostly did it in his spare time so he could get in the mode of zen and cosmic feeling. It let him...relax and take everything in. The only real downside was a strange faint whispering he always heard during it. Ah well, good outweighs the bad. He wanted this mode as often as he could and was soon paying much of any pay he obtained on it, especially since he had a decent dealer. It seemed good until he was about 16 and ½.
Why did Mako have to not go through with simply telling that one “associate” that today was a bad day for his dealer? They could’ve avoided this talk entirely if he’d just done it. Kevin’s a decent guy and would let it slide but this guy….He’s never even met this guy. Before long, Mako found himself in an alley getting an earful with his back against a wall. The man obviously was pissed off and probably wanted retribution for the amount of trouble he nearly got in. And with Mako strapped for cash, any retribution would be hard to help out with without screwing Kevin over. Then he heard a voice, a third voice that seemed to high pitched for either of them. “Who is this Mako?” Almost instinctively he thought “Just a guy. Kinda annoying though” “Really? Can I talk with him?” Mako almost snapped back to reality wondering what on earth his mind was going to but before he knew it, he wasn’t in control and instead the monster was out and about with the world around the 2 going dark. Before long, the man and him were talking, learning from each other. Well, until about an hour in when the...creature seemed to have his fill and the man soon found himself face to face with tendrils of light grabbing onto him, pulling him closer as the last things he heard were “I want to know more about you. You seem so...interesting.”
Mako awoke with a gasp and a look around. Was that tendriled creature a dream? Almost in response, he heard a voice say “No of course not. You should know this Mako.” That more or less gave that question an answer, near immediately. Oh God, the conversation that took place afterwards as Mako tried getting answers to what had happened not too long ago. Mako took it surprisingly in stride and instead just tried to tell the newly named Viktor that he can’t have him doing this all the time in a manner he would hopefully understand. While not quite clicking with the strange creature dwelling in him, he still at least decided to try less of the substance that more or less led to this situation, so at least lesson was learned. And Mako did keep trying to hammer in to Viktor the wrongness of the situation. That aside, however, when met about 3 other individuals, this ended up still being the result. There’s obvious regret there, but dwelling on it won’t solve the issue. Instead, as Senior year loomed over, he decided to keep moving forward as he headed into college. With him now in a bit of a bigger playing ground, maybe there was even a chance that there might be someone out there either like him or even, better yet, a way to help control whatever the hell was going on in him.

Inner Monster App:
Name: Viktor(or more truthfully, the name it gave itself when Mako asked what it was)
Personality: Viktor is, at the end of the day, like most monsters. He’s a murderous creature that has the potential and ability to kill many within only a short span of time. However, murder isn’t the complete driving action. Instead, he’s driven by a more alien desire from his monster brethren-absorption and knowledge. He is marked mostly by this innate curiosity that, no matter how much he or another tries to satisfy it, is impossible to cure. Everytime he observes something he decides to question it, wondering the different traits of it. If he isn’t questioning, then he’s making a few inferred guesses or even theories. He always just wants to figure out how these things tick. Surprisingly enough, he’s also rather amicable, in a sense. He can hold a conversation so long as he is able to ask a few questions or he is “interrogee” is asking a few questions.
Appearance:
Base Form: His appearance, at first, seems rather human. In fact, he seems like nothing but a perfectly simple, tanned human child, standing at 4’1’’. However, that’s only if you look at the front and far away. Taking a closer look at him, however, is where you realize that what you’re looking at isn’t some child. His face has no actual features upon it. Not a mouth or even eyes. The only thing there are are the usual ears and nose you’d see upon a human being. Besides that, he still seems human despite that with hands, feet, legs, and arms, with only a lack of a belly button being the one notable thing. Turning him around is when any beliefs that this is a normal, if a bit mutated, human child are dashed away. His entire back, instead of covered with human flesh seem more of akin to snake scales at first. Yet even the scales seem strange. Each time one is touched, it quivers and shakes a little as if it’s uncomfortable. Then, right afterwards, they all open and that scaly back turns into a myriad of eyeballs looking directly at their current beholder.
First Step: After absorbing enough knowledge(usually a dozen humans or so), Viktor advances to the first step. Instead of appearing as a human child, he looks more akin to a large dog, more specifically a bloodhound. At least, that’s what it looks like at first. As one gets closer to or chases after it, it transforms into that of a medium sized stray black cat. If one gets into a close enough seeing distance of it, it takes its final transformation into that of an about 6 foot tall barn owl with, of course, the wingspan you’d expect of one. However, to match its previous form, instead of the usual head of a barn owl, it is instead a large eyeball more or less jammed into the socket of where a usual owl’s face would go and having a secondary pupil as its grotesque excuse for a beak.
Second Step: Viktor ends up losing much of any definite shape to himself and is far more accurate to a monster. He becomes closer to a purple blob that is able to slither around and move. However, this is only the beginning. As someone looks at him more and more, they will start to see him change forms in near immediate fashions, as if reality is denying every phase of his being. He may turn into the First Step or even his Base Form. However, do to, at that point, having many more guises to choose from, he’ll more than likely choose one of the veritable amount of people he’s absorbed to get this far instead. Or, so he might choose, a more chaotic form of his one creation, like some sort of floating, turtle shelled monstrosity with six legs. As one gets too close, the form suddenly becomes much bigger, usually about 20’. Whatever form he’s in currently is also suddenly has a pool of that same purple goo that made up this stage originally.
Third Step: This is the one form of which that no one, not even Viktor himself, quite know what it looks like. Even with his collection of minds at the point of the Second Step, he has no idea what this almost mythical Third Step looks like.
Skills/Powers: Each form can inherently use the traits and abilities of the former forms, though to possibly lesser degrees. Each form also gives out a certain “aura” if you will, or to be more exact, a field of darkness or light(depending on Viktor’s preference). The only thing the person will see is Viktor and themselves, with the rest of the world seemingly blocked out in its entirety. Instead of doing any logical thing like run, they instead will find themselves asking Viktor questions above all else. Not even in a way that would make them feel like they're being forced but instead feel as though this is second nature to them and, after a bit of time, they’ll almost be holding a plain old conversation with lil old Viktor. Soon afterwards, this proves to be the worst thing one could have happen as this usually means that whoever is with him is about to be eaten by grabbing tentacles and being forcibly....blended into him like a truck in quicksand. Those eaten also have the unfortunate fate of usually being aware well after being absorbed, though given enough time they’ll either go insane and not realize it or simply just become more one with Viktor. Each form is also able to warp the aura around the two as he so pleases. With every human or creature he has absorbed, he’s able to actively change into them as he sees fit. His most notable traits however are surprising quickness in movement both in hunt, when being stalked by his soon to be prey, or in danger, and being damn hard to actually kill. He’s able to regenerate and seems as though he has, from what can be gathered, no actual organs unlike Mako. Instead, if stabbed or shot, he almost forms around wherever the stab mark is or just pop out of it in general if able. Afterwards, any injury just seemingly vanishes as if it never happened.
Other: “Mako, what is that? I want to know what it is. Please help me. Please.” And what follows is a collaboration of voices all speaking at the same time, at different tones(how many depends on how many people Viktor has absorbed)
((I won’t even lie. I kinda based this guy off of a mix of Vel’Koz from League(you could probably tell from the “knowledge” bits draped all over) and Thousand Eyes Restrict from Yu-Gi-Oh(more so the card game than anything since the card was recently unbanned). Also my God this was a doozy. Also I’ll go more into the Step’s abilities later because I don’t feel like overhauling this more than it already is. ))
I walked through the streets with an eye wandering every once in awhile to nothing in particular. The city seemed to both be both bustling today, as usual, but also a bit quiet. Then again, I'm also in a portion of it that wasn't exactly known for being bustling so that's kinda my own fault I suppose. Felt good though, since quiet walks are just far better. I looked over every once in awhile kinda just observing nearby pedestrians that passed by and glancing over at a few cars. Viktor was notably quiet today for some reason. Then again, I don't share all his thoughts so really no good guesses on why he would be though. But hell, not having to deal with a few questions for a bit and some time to just have a clear mind? No way I'm complaining about that.
I started to go around the corner of this one block with a food store that I swear somehow looked more akin to a barber shop when I got this strange feeling. This feeling as though something just went terribly wrong, but I couldn't explain it. Deja vu? Classic uneasiness from paranoia from Viktor not talking? Don't know, but I kinda figured I'd get the answer sooner or later. In the meantime, the best idea was just to simply continue walking. Well, that was until I heard a faint noise. Scraping? Maybe construction of some kind or some moving some sort of metal work? Made sense, but hell, now I was interested. After all, I'm always down for a quick peek at a project someways doing. But as I got closer to where the sound was coming from, it started to become much more....unbearable. The sound was becoming more grating and just...peculiar. That uneasiness was starting to come back as this didn't sound nearly as normal as I thought it had at first. As I approached what seemed like the alleyway it came from, I decided, what's a quick peek though? Worse case scenario, I'm running for my life is all. Not wanting to put myself in too much danger, my eyes and head came juuust far enough past the entrance to get a glimpse at what I could only describe as fittingly awful to the sounds before. It looked to be some strange creature made of darkness hovering over and, from what I could see, there was a weird...thing that was facing it too, with good God only knows how many sorts of blades. Obviously, my heart jumped a slight bit at seeing this as this was the last thing I was expecting to see. I immediately pulled back for a sec before suspiciously prying my head back over. I cursed mentally at my luck as I knew that whatever this was, it was probably not good and staying here any longer probably wasn't ideal. But, I also knew I probably should observe too. Whatever is going on, it's strange. And considering the entire Viktor situation is pretty damn far from normal, I wouldn't be surprised if the two were connected somehow. Then again, after today's over, I doubt there's anything that'll really surprise me at this point all things considered.
After awkwardly sitting there, drinking her coffee that young sweet waitress approached her once more while she tended to her camera. "I'm assuming you're on break Lil?" Violet asked, not even looking at her only friend in this monstrous town. "You got that right, say you don't seem like usual Vi, something up?" asked the sixteen year old waitress. "Just Camera stuff, you know?" Violet replied as she turned her head to the window to view the city. Standing up she then nodded to the girl and spoke. "Well thank you, but I can't stay any longer, I have to do something." She replied, putting the camera in it's bag and slinging the bag over her shoulder. She left a ten dollar tip for the waitress and put her hood up, and walked further into the city. She was hearing some unbearable screams herself, something about monsters being able to hear other monsters or something.

Tyraxius got out of the water and shook off to be dry. I sat inside of his mind wondering if I could eventually merge and control the beast. Make him a little smarter maybe. I sighed. "There is something we need to do and I can do it with your powers."
Ty scratched his belly like a monkey. "WHAT... IDEA?"
I pointed in the direction of TJ's house and we went. Ty went to the porch where TJ's body laid. I sighed. "Let's take him somewhere nice."
Ty picked up the body and carried it down the street. He found the orphanage's ruins that I grew up in. I pointed to it. Tyraxius took his claws and dug a small hole. He placed TJ's body in there and buried it. Ty walked away and began to wander.
I sat in silence inside of his mind. "TY... HUNGERS..."
I sighed. "Go get some food or something." Ty began to walk then stopped. He sniffed the air and grunted. He angrily grunted a couple of times and began to blindly charge down the road, heading to the alleyway where everyone is at. ((So if anyone is paying attention, they can hear basically a stampeding beast charging down the road.

I would have flinched if I were still in control. Morne tried to react as quickly as he could. The spikes still hit him, but because he was incorporeal, he only phased slightly into the beast rather than get impaled by it. I could sense his pain, but not as much as I would have if I were still in my human body. He blacked off and prepared another strike, but stopped when he heard the thundering footsteps behind him. He decided to get somewhere between the beast and the alley entrance, getting into a defensive stance. His cold gaze momentarily drifted to a person watching them at the entrance, likely staying put so he didn't open up an attack from the beast.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I apologize in advance if I don't post on an RP for a while; I'm still sorting things out.
As I continued my light monster watching, I suddenly heard another distant but oh so loud sound. I cursed under my breath as I realized whatever this was couldn't be a good sign for me unless it's the army or something. Hell even then, kinda screwed if Viktor comes out in front of them. As I twisted my head away from the fight to look for any cover, my eyes thankfully spotted another alleyway right across the street. Right as my body was about to move, my peripheral vision caught probably the worst thing possible. The shadow...thing a ma Bob was coming closer to the entrance and, even worse, took a look at me. It takes a lot to scare me, it really does. But the moment that thing looked at me, my heart felt like it skipped a beat. Forget a beat actually. Make it 5. I needed to leave. Asap. I moved as fast and as quietly as my legs and body could move before finally diving into the alleyway, with every fiber of my being hoped that the shadow creature, that scraping thing, and whatever the hell was barreling down the street didn't notice. Okay the shadow thing probably did, but hopefully not the other 2. And, as luck would have it, there was a conveniently opened dumpster in this alleyway. No garbage either. I opened it up before finally sitting down in it and closing the lid shut as fast as I could.
Violet took out her camera to take a picture of streetlights and buildings, but that screech of some unsightly beast kept ringing in her head, she let the camera drop to her stomach, dangling on the strap it was attached to, and covered her ears. She could feel herself turning right then and there, the monster within her hadn't feasted on souls for awhile and her on going battle with it continued. But then, she saw a man, dive into an alleyway from the distance which completely shook her from turning into her own unsightly beast. She picked up her camera then looked through the lense as she walked closer into the alleyway.
Despite the darkness in the obviously not-that-light dumpster, my eyes kept looking back and forth at a surprisingly even rate. I didn't know quite my chances of that thing that was currently barreling away....god only knows how far, finding out my location, but still I need to mentally prepare in case I end up with a face to face encounter. No matter what angle it comes at, as long as I can get my footing, I should be able to run past it if I dive down in the right direction. Well that's if it picks up my little hidey hole. If it pries it open without moving it, throw something at it as a distraction and barrel out. Or maybe wait for it to be just about to lunge and spring in the opposite direction. A few other different thoughts and strategies crept into my mind and as I thought about my many getting-the-hell-out-of-dodge strategies, I decided to get a better idea of my surroundings. Cautiously opening up the dumpster, I looked around from left to right. Okay, there was a metal fence, but it seemed to be climbable if I jumped off the dumpster to it. A nearby fire escape ladder too-promising. Then I caught view of something that would be welcome in most situations, though sure as hell not right now.
It was a redheaded woman who out of all things was looking through a camera in the middle of what was probably gonna be in about a minute or 2, a monster war zone. And considering I wasn't a complete sociopath, I didn't really consider this a very positive thing.
I closed my eyes for a second as I tried to register how far away those god awful thundering steps were. They were close by, but it didn't sound like they were right in the street just yet. I quickly opened up the top of the dumpster a bit more before mouthing probably the best advice anyone could give in a situation like this. "Run, Move, Move." I then motioned my head over to a nearby shop and a not too far away street corner. I figured if she went where I was, it'd be a lot harder for both of us to get out if we were discovered. There wasn't a single head motion to where that shadow creature was. Letting her know that was nearby probably would equal some sorta shock and, therefore, a probable lack of living human being where she was standing, probably at cause by one of the nearby beasties. Near immediately afterwards, I closed the top again, hoping not to make a sound.

Ty burst onto the street and stood still. He looked around and sniffed. He began to growl then howl loudly. He screeched, hopefully alerting anyone in the area.
||Xevra here, alright, something came up, so I'll be using this for awhile.
Violet flinched as she saw the man pop up from the dumpster. "Run, Move, Move." That would have been absolutely hilarious in other occasion, but that didn't seem the case, that same screech once more echoing in her head as she ran into an empty bookstore, shelves were dusty and were covered in sheets.
Background: Wendel was born in Germany and grew up in America. He tries to distance himself from his past, and his last ditch attempt at doing this was running away. Before that, though, he grew up in a comparatively poor household. He was raised by a single mother with a twin sister. Things went smoothly until he found out who his father was.
That was the day his sister died. The creature within him took control. It was intelligent and full of malice - it did not know love, or affection. It did not care for its daughter. It hungered for blood.
In fact, the creature was intelligent. Very intelligent. So intelligent that it foresaw the defeat of its brothers. So it made sure to leave its mark. It had children so it could cling on to this world, take over through a host. But it only needed one, and it chose Wendel. The other was a problem. She had his blood and would be able to communicate with him. Only one could know, and that would be the one it took over. So it killed Wendel's sister..
And that's when Wendel met his father. His father took control. He became a monster and his sister died. That's when he decided to leave his life behind. He would search for purpose, but it would not be at home. He ran away, hoping to never be identified at the one with that thing inside him. He would find a purpose.
He was 15 then. 4 years later, he is still looking.

Name: Cyae'nihl

The footsteps got closer, more or less signaling that whatever was here was getting much closer. A hand went to my ear as I tried to listen closer. It was hard to hear but I heard...fast footsteps almost hidden in that god forsaken noise. "Phew..." I thought "Looks like that lady took the hint." Well, that's what I initially thought anyways. However, well, when you then hear those footsteps that made you and some lady you've never met before duck for cover sound like they're now currently in the same street, you're mind probably wouldn't still be thinking about that. And then any other ideas I had at whatever was dropping by simply being an army or maybe, dare I hoped, a mecha creature that was here to defend me, were quickly dashed as I heard this godawful screech. It surprised me that was for sure, but I made sure not to make any rash movement. Rash movement in a gigantic metallic toy box like this would make noise and noise is not a thing I wanna make right now
(( Basically your character and Tenebris were fighting each other or something. My character noticed and then Enteis noticed through sniffing and stormed down to where we were(bit too metaplaying-ing in my opinion, but besides the point). My character heard him and dived into a dumpster. Xevara's character noticed the fighting, almost went monster but noticed my char. She hid in a bookstore. Now Enteis character just screeched in the alleyway. Sorry we didn't leave a whole lot of time for you and oblivion to react, but I basically just wrote with whatever I was given))

Also I’ll go more into the Step’s abilities later because I don’t feel like overhauling this more than it already is. ))
((Yep, and accepted.))

Human
Name: Wendel Bauer
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality: To be roleplayed.
Appearance:
Skills:
