So I shouldn't worry about my power being too powerful?
It just seems to me like I can't do anything because it's like "oh, how about teleportation and telekinesis? Oh, George can do that and more and was accepted.." It feels like I'm unable to really make anything of the same power level, you know?
Not really, there are some powers that nobody has used yet. One that I can think of could kill everyone in a instant without a trace. No warning either. Just pop. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Amos is a Haitian man with a round head and dark brown eyes. He is bald and has a semi-muscular figure. He has a long, large nose and well defined cheekbones. He is typically clean-shaven and has a flat chin. He speaks with a combination southern/haitian accent.
Like this:
He typically wears a long-sleeved, black sweater, a tight-fitting t-shirt, or goes shirtless, depending on the weather. He almost always wears jeans and waterproof galoshes. To hide his identity, he wears a very broad-rimmed straw hat that shades his face and makes it difficult to tell his identity. He also wields a cane with an extendable sword blade and a multitool.
Beneath his shirt, he has the Veve (symbol needed to channel the Loa, see powers) of Papa Legba tattooed across his chest in dark-blue ink. The Veve looks like this:
Personality: To be RP’ed.
Skills:
Besides his powers, Amos is a spiritualist at heart and is always great at listening to the problems of others. In essence, he is great if you need a shoulder to cry on. He’s also a great cook if you like down home style cooking straight out of the Bayou. Otherwise, when he is not channeling one of the Loa (pronounced Loh-wah), he is very fit and has decent stamina.
Powers:
Amos’s powers stem from Haitian Vodou teachings and ideals. One of the primary beliefs of Vodou is in a god called Bondye, the Supreme Creator. He resides far from any realm accessible by humanity and the way for humans to contact him is by contacting spirits known as the Loa.Here’s a link to the Wikipedia article that will explain most of the terms described in this application: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loa
Amos is the chosen subject of the great Loa known as Papa Legba and his primary connection to Earth. Papa Legba stands at the spiritual crossroads between this world and the Guinee (Vodou spirit realm) and acts as the intermediary between the Loa and humanity. From this, he is obligated to serve Papa Legba by consoling the bereaved and bringing balance to the Earth. He also gains a number of special abilities to help him on this task.
These abilities include:
Communication: Papa Legba is known as the Great Elocutioner in Haiti. His ability to communicate is unmatched. This aspect of Legba grants Amos the ability to “read” people and tell what they’re feeling at any time. If the person is particularly good at concealing their emotions or if their faces are covered and their voices are masked, it becomes difficult or impossible for Amos to discern their emotions. In essence, he is highly skilled at cold reading.
Linguistics: Being the Great Elocutioner, Papa Legba can speak all human languages. This is an ability he grants to Amos. Languages that are inhuman (such as those spoken by angels and demons) or alien languages are still foreign to Amos, but languages that are only spoken by a few humans or dead languages (like Latin) are not.
Turned Away: Papa Legba stands over the crossroads between the Guinee (spirit realm) and Earth. Due to this fact, he stops Amos on his path to the Guinee before he reaches them. This means that Amos is technically immortal. He can still die, but he comes back to life about 24 hours later with all of his wounds healed. If the incident that led to his death destroyed his body, he doesn’t get a new one, instead he becomes a wandering spirit and must find a new body (living or dead) to inhabit. As long as his mouth and eyes are not sealed immediately after his death, his spirit still releases. Otherwise, his spirit will only release when the bindings are cut. See “Spirit Connections” for more info.
Spirit Connections: Papa Legba stands over the spiritual crossroads and thus has access to the spirits of the dead. This grants Amos the ability to commune with the souls of the dead unless their their mouths and eyes were sealed as a result of their death or immediately after their death. This leads to their souls remaining in their heads and, thus they take a different path to the afterlife. This also means that when Amos dies and cannot return to his body, he wanders as a spirit, still able to communicate with the living, but invisible to the naked eye. As a spirit, he is incorporeal and can reanimate dead bodies in order to continue living. His tattoo appears on the chest of the new body to symbolise that he is now bound to that body. Once he possesses a body, he cannot leave it until he is killed once again and can’t return to it.
Loa Connection: Papa Legba grants as the arbiter of who gets to speak to which Loa in the Guinee. This grants Amos the ability to communicate and channel the abilities a single Loa at any one time. In return for their power, he either must make a unique sacrifice depending on the Loa or he must grant them control of his body for a duration of time dependant on the amount of power he draws. Typically, he will not channel any of the Barons as it can be very dangerous to channel a soul that is that chaotic and destructive. The power he is granted is entirely dependant on the Loa that Amos channels.
I came up with a pretty good idea, but it's like fundemantly george could just have my power. Power over machines? George has it. Any psychic power? George has it. Manipulating reality? George has it. Time travel? That's a spell, isn't it? Elemental control? Laughable.
I just feel like the power of "magic" is like saying my power is "mutations". It can do literally anything if I just so happen to have it do so.
EDIT: After some reading of the RP, I'm no longer really afraid of this. My apologies.
While I agree to a degree, I feel like you'd have to purposely mess up to lose against superhumans, you know? "Oh none of these guys have any evasive abilities? Well....let's just try to shoot magic at them instead of making the very ground they stand on fall in on itself."
Again, you are George, and after reading a little bit, I'm not really worried about you going super sayan and just saying "oh btw the world ends", but there's a reason comic book characters make "the world's best magic users". To beat unbeatable villians or heroes with "magic".

Erip, just take a versatile power. George has magic, very versatile. Xevra can paint anything she wants, so she's on a level playing field with him. I'm just unbelievably cheap, so I guess that's the same thing. There's one more power I'm thinking of that will give you a similar level of cheapness. I would tell you, but I think you're smart enough to figure it out on your own.

(How's this for a power nobody's used? :D)
Definetly creative. Accepted. Jump into the RP talking to Percy and jumping down the hole.
I have a pretty good idea, but thanks for yours guys. After looking through the characters more I realized this is much more of a have fun roleplay then everything be balanced one.
Yeah this will be a roleplay where you do what you please and I react to it. Like George not joining us. I will have stuff for that.
Jack is a rather handsome fellow. He has dark brown hair, the front of it standing up revealing most of his forehead. He has a slight tan, although this tan isn't anything particularly extreme. His eyes are a dark, silky brown, and are rather hard to take your own eyes off. He has a goatee all around his mouth, the same color as the rest of his hair, and equally good looking. His smile is inticing and seemingly always present, and he has no sideburns.
Besides his face, Jack is very well built. He easily has the muscle mass of an MMA fighter, and wears clothes that show this off. He prefers tight blue v-necks and jeans of the same color, and his shoes typically match this outfit rather well.
Jack stands 6 foot, and is definetly something to look at.
Personality
Jack is incredibly nice and humble, considering his powers. He trys his best to keep from being rude or arrogant, and trys not to flaunt his intelligence. He's at his best when teaching people what he knows, but is fine with just listening to other people's stories and words too. After all, you never know when you'll learn something new.
Skills
Given Jack's powers, it's nearly impossible to list all of Jack's skills.
Powers
Jack has an ever-evolving intelligence. In other words, he is the world's smartest man, and is quickly growing smarter every day. This gives him plenty of sub-abilities and skills, such as perfect memory, an ability to learn anything nearly instantly, perfect measurement of patterns, and mastery of a multitude of sciences and arts. Maybe someday he'll even unlock psionic abilities - but he chooses to focus on learning the material world rather then explore the metaphysical.
Bio
To be explained in the RP.

Going to be honest, I didn't expect to get accepted. There's a whole lot you can do with unlimited intelligence - rivaling that of magic even. At least I get to have some pretty cool introductions and fun ways to pass time.
Hey, so, quick question - what exactly are the limits of GeorgeNinja's powers? He seems to be like a God to me rn..
The limits? Nobody knows~
I mean, this RP is probably going to be filled with gods anyway.
There's George, Me, Xevra...
Not sure about the others...
Half full? Half empty? Something else altogether? You decide.
Like all of my stories, there will be gods and such. I have measures to neutralize all of you guys in the case of OP Disaster.

Gaster Blasters seem to be the thing now adays.
Though in all seriousness though summoning giant dragon skulls that shoot powerful lasers at will is pretty epic.
