[0 After Settlement]: We have settled on the dark side of the moon, our science devicery monitoring the planet's growth, it will continue to provide these data updates long after we have returned to our own galaxy.
[1AS]We have placed the jar of specimens on the planet surface, we hope to see growth soon.
*UPDATE*
The first creature to crawl out of the jar was a long creature that fractally froze the water as it swam.
The second creature to crawl out was Swirling blue creature with many eyes, we didn't know that they could generate with this many eyes, this revalation has stumped our scientists, we will have to go back to the drawing board and carefully study the true limitations of our creatures.
*UPDATE*
Soon after the first two a new creature crawled out of the jar, by this point the contents of the jar have created a small puddle on the planet. This new creature crawled out as the sun was rising, is maroon in colour and only has one eye.
*UPDATE*
A few hours after the first three, a new creature emerged from the jar, the last of the objects growing within the first specimen jar. This creature seems to have a vastly different movement pattern to the first three, it is bright and has two eyes.
Note(s): ((You will be provided with options soon after your creatures settle, you may choose to simply select an answer or appropriately describe how your creature responds, those who choose the more detailed option will be given special points they can use to speed up evolutions soon.
The water is warm. Too warm, you need to []find a colder corner or []create a nest or something. In the meantime just moving around freezes some water and keeps your needs sated but this will not last forever.
Small flakes are gently floating towards the bottom of the puddle, you see them before your competitors, if you swim fast enough you can []eat some flakes before they even notice. Alternatively you could []create a nest or []explore, maybe food isn't too important at the moment but it sure would be tasty.
Those other thingys sure look tasty, maybe when they're not looking you could []take a bite. It's probably a good idea to []dig a nest soon though this is a rather big puddle, maybe there is something hidden on the other side, in which case it might be an idea to []investigate.
The water is cold, too cold. You could []build a nest, but why build a nest when you could just []dance. At this point []exploring is not an option, but you could []explore while dancing to conserve heat, though you might only get half as far.
Note(s): ((Remember that you don't have to choose an option provided, you may instead choose to do something uncharacteristic, however black options are recommended, especially when you first start out and do not have things such as food and shelter. Dark Red options are not advised as they are risky, rarely with a good payoff.))
5P1-D-3RVEN Creates a nest from some mud, the barren planet has not provided much material to work with so for now mud will suffice. The shelter offers some protection as well as an advantage when facing predators. The shelter also provides some space to store flakes if you so desire. From here you could []expand the home, []go out and investigate or []collect and store flakes back at your mud home. Beware though, leaving your home for too long could see someone else claiming it as their own.
Note(s): ((Dark orange options are low-risk options, in this case the player needs to wait for others to complete their first turn before they can use their second turn to try to take the house, giving 5P1-D-3RVEN plenty of time to explore.))
((Turns are a little abstract, you can get up to 3(?) turns ahead of other players, inactive players will be pushed ahead if inactive for too long (usually a few days, so don't worry) Eventually your creatures will evolve enough on their own that you will be able to determine your own actions.))
((indeed, but if someone had posted already the option would have been dark red.))
II
5P1-D-3RVEN heads out and explores the puddle, there isn't too much new to be found, the giant jar of transport distorts the suns shining down on half the puddle, creating a cooler portion of the puddle, there is a little bit of foreign earth in the jar, the dirt is a slightly different colour, it is probably from the large carrying-creatures' homeworld, infused with nutrients to help specimens grow. There may still be some eggs lying dormant in the soil.
On the other side of the puddle are some metal flakes, not the edible kind, these things are quite large (in comparison to the cells) They could make a super sturdy and sharp habitat but one creature alone wouldn't be enough to move them. In the puddle there are also three other creatures moving about, a white one, a maroon one and a magenta one.
You are feeling low on energy, it would be a good idea to []eat something right about now, you could []eat flakes or try []tasting another creature.
Note(s): ((Olive options denote an odd option, in this case it is the option to just try and eat the first thing you see.))
((I felt that green wasn't dangerous enough for 'mildly dangerous', perhaps Bright orange and Bright red instead.))
C6H12O6-COOH Dances as it explores, splitting into two, there are now two C6H12O6-COOH's. Moving around you manage to find a spot where the thick side glass of the tipped-over jar does not obscure the light, and the thin point of the base of the jar infact focuses the light. It is very nice and warm here, the water even steams a bit. With two of you things can now go a bit faster, you can []build a nest, []gather food, []examine resources, []Search for other creatures or []wriggle out of the puddle. You may do two of these things or one of these things with an advantage.
You wriggle on over to the closest creature, it is fast but you catch it and take a bite, it is a Magenta thing with two eyes. after consuming some of this thing you grow bigger and split into two. But the thing has now seen you and stares angrily at you. You are forced to flee. Now you can []build a nest, []gather food, []examine resources, []Dance []eat your comrade or []wriggle out of the puddle. You may do two of these things or one of these things with an advantage. ((If you eat your comrade that is all you do.))
Your brethren has been badly wounded by a maroon thing that swam out of nowhere and took a bite, in addition to one of your actions you may also []Merge with your brethren or []heal your brethren.
Note(s): ((You may rename your creature at any time you deem appropriate.))
After healing, the C6H12O6-COOH work together to build a nest, the nest offers protection from predators. The selected positions also offers additional protection from those 'warm' or colder. The non-damaged C6H12O6-COOH splits once more. With three creatures you can do Three tasks, two tasks where one task has an advantage or one task with guaranteed survival. The C6H12O6-COOH are not getting low on energy just yet, just being in the greater heat is enough, but in getting more food they would be able to sustain a larger culture size.
You may []Eat something, []Eat Flakes, []Eat someone.
Alternatively rather than focusing on food one or more of your three specimens could do something else productive or otherwise such as []Investigate flakes, []Investigate Jar, []Expand Nest or []Dance.

EXE-6-13666 sense that the water around this area are just too warm for it, it decides to find a colder corner in of this place and freeze its surrounding along its path.
EXE-6-13666 Finds a cool place in the puddle where the sun is mildly obscured by the thick side glass of the tipped over jar. Here it is able to create a cool ice place to exist the water around it begins to turn to slush and EXE-6-13666 splits into two. The two entities now have the options to []Form a habitat, []Collect Food, []Investigate the nearby Jar, []eat your duplicate or []slither out of the puddle. With two entities you may do two options or one of these options with an advantage. If you eat your duplicate that is the only thing you do.

As EXE-6-13666 splits into two entities, due to its natural instinct the original entities feel hostile to the new duplicate of itself. EXE-6-13666 did not stay still for long as its instinct take over and initiate an attack to the new born duplicate with an hostile intent. EXE-6-13666 devour its own duplicate with no hesitation.

EXE-6-13666 Devours its dupilicate, growing to two times its original size. EXE-6-13666 can now []Form a habitat, []Collect Food, []Investigate the nearby Jar, []Investigate other creatures or []slither out of the puddle. Onlookers are now scared of EXE-6-13666. The nearby water is now 'slush' and protects against creatures 'neutral' or warmer.

After EXE-6-13666 devour its own duplication, its body grew two times its original size making it to be feared by the other smaller creatures. EXE-6-13666 then make its way toward the nearby jar as he slide through the freezing slush.
*UPDATE*
Another creature hatched from the remaining contents of the jar, this is fantastic news! The creature seems to have a very balanced sense of vision as well as heating the water as it moves, I am interested to see how this creature plays out with EXE-6-13666.
*UPDATE*
Another creature has emerged from the jar's soil, and this one is HUGE! Well, relatively speaking of course, this creature is 6x larger than most other specimens (3x bigger than specimen EXE-6-13666, and 4x the size of BNI-32-G81H) It has two eyes and seems to have a crystal-like composition.
These creatures get to move first, their actions will take priority as so that others cannot eat them before they have even left the jar.
It is way too cold inside the jar, but this does not upset you, as you move the water around you turns into steam, you do not swim like the others, you float through this funnel of steam. You could stay here in the jar but in the soil below you can hear something large moving, you probably want to get out of here. You could []Find a warm spot in the Jar or just []Build a vent nest somewhere. Alternatively there are some juicy looking flakes floating about, you could []eat a flake if you wanted.
It is nice and warm in your crystal shell, you move slowly but that is okay. You do not feel hunger, instead the warmth of the sun magnified through the glass fills your stomach. You feel the overwhelming desire to []plant yourself somewhere, you could do this near to the jar or far from the jar.
You would Eat some Flakes but your current form does not have a mouth.
A C6H12O6-COOH consumes a flake while a second examines what these are, this small specimens are not intelligent enough to derive what the flakes purposes are, but it is clear that these flakes are slowly being spread by the former cork of the jar which seems to be disolving the longer it is completely submerged. As a flake was consumed the C6H12O6-COOH quickly began to vibrate before sprouting a pair of extrusions which looked quite funny, but this C6H12O6-COOH now has the ability to see temperatures. It is quickly able to locate the nice and hot nest which has now been expanded to be able to house several more entities. The investigating C6H12O6-COOH instinctively brings as many flakes as it can back to the nest also.
C6H12O6-COOH are well set up, they have food and shelted and brethren. Now C6H12O6-COOH can do things like []get smarter, []copy heat sensors, []wriggle out of the puddle, []remove heat sensors, []merge X of C6H12O6-COOH, []search the puddle and []learn communication.
[3 actions]
EXE-6-13666 is now king of the puddle, this is how EXE-6-13666 feels. The jar is filled with soil and eggs, if you Rummage through the soil you will be able to []collect some eggs or []eat some eggs. You could also []eat some flakes if you wanted to. The Jar doesn't seem to like EXE-6-13666, it gets little scratches in the glass whenever you swim by.The Jar would not make a good home. If you wanted a home you could []Make a home somewhere else.
[+1 advantage to any action]
BNI-32-G81H begins digging a nest while its comrade dances, as it dances it splits into two, this is a little bit annoying because it means BNI-32-G81H needs to make a bigger nest. In the end the nest is nice and big and can fit many BNI-32-G81H. While digging the nest you find some shiny things, you could []eat the shiny things or []decorate the nest with the shiny things, there are many shiny things so you could do both. You also need to find food at some point so that there can be more BNI-32-G81H, if the shiny things are edible this could solve your problem. Other options include []Eating some flakes or []biting more creatures. Alternatively there is always the option to []dance, but your nest is already nice and warm so dancing too much could make it too hot.
[3 actions]
5P1-D-3RVEN Decides to eat some flakes, it is able to eat 3 flakes and this gives it significant advances, now 5P1-D-3RVEN is much longer and more refined, 5P1-D-3RVEN has fins so that it can swiftly turn when moving through the puddle as well as a tail pommel which it can use to whack any creature that tries to eat it. 5P1-D-3RVEN will now have to []Expand the nest if it wants to be able to fit, it will also need to []Collect some flakes so that it has food later. Now 5P1-D-3RVEN can do things like []get smarter, []wriggle out of the puddle, []remove a feature, []search the puddle and []learn communication.
Note(s):
>>[3 Actions] means that you have less creatures, but they are able to achieve more actions than a normal creature, this balances out speicies that have many vs species that are just 1.
>>'Advantage' means that the danger of an action goes down one step. (Red will become Orange, Orange will become black, black will become green, etc.)
>>If your name gets tiresome to type, you can rename your species at any time you deem appropriate.

EXE-6-13666 manage to collect some eggs in the jar and decides to eat them. EXE-6-13666 found that the jar is not the ideal place to make a home, so it slide through the freezing slush to make a home somewhere else, where its frozen empire can be build.
