Whatever I just said, I didn't mean any offense. Unless we're fighting, in which case I probably did.
If I said something was a joke when it didn't seem like one, I'm making an excuse to avoid an argument I know is coming. Instead of telling me how not funny I am and how it didn't seem like a joke at all, just go along with it. Because flame wars suck and nobody wants to be a part of one.

"So, Whoever is holding the stone, I would like to see it. I think I might know something about it. It does seem slightly familiar." Garwend repeated his question to the group as they probably didn't hear him before.
((I am at a complete loss of ideas right now. Excuse my absence.))
[[I can understand the lacking ideas thing. That's usually why I don't post often.]]
"I can agree with that." Godric agreed with Zenowo. While the idea of journeying through the rain wasn't pleasant, he also didn't want to wait in the cave until the rain stopped.

Would you rather read a story of knights and dragons, or be in one?
I'm glad people support my dragon raising. Could I ask for assistance with this one now?
Check out my dragon scroll(http://dragcave.net/user/Heric) if you want to see the dragons I have. I may get more dragons later.
Kaleth shook himself awake when he heard Garwend's request. Although he doubted the possibility of him knowing anything related to the stone, it was worth a shot. The Thragon walked over to the gladiator, handing him the small stone that occasionally pulsated with faint green light. A short moment passed before he started speaking.
"Perhaps you can find what the others could not." Kaleth said as he walked past Garwend, into the deeper recesses of the cave.
When he reached the end of the cave, he returned to the spot he had found the corpses at. Kaleth decided to search the area for things he had missed. While he couldn't find much, he did find something he missed the first time around - a torn page stuck into the maw of a Dwarven skull. Kaleth reached out and grabbed it, inspecting it for a moment before reading it. The paper described the ominous warning of a madman, claiming that any and all who attempt to understand the affliction would become insane.
"Peculiar..." he said to himself as he placed the torn page into the old tome.
As he did so, Zenowo had suggested that the party venture forth through the rain, as it would likely not stop soon. Kaleth heard this, and returned to the group. He began gathering his things and spoke.
"It is settled then. We move through the rain towards Marshtowers. On the slim chance that the authorities are still looking for us, then we've got to move." Kaleth explained, his voice echoing slightly through the cave.

"I'm going to hold onto the stone for now, I think I might know some old relic reader that might pin down one of these symbols, " Garwend replied to the Thragon at which then he started inspecting the stone for anything that might not be related to the symbols, like maybe what the stone is made of.

The team pack their belongings and once again head south to Marsh Towers. At first the path was somewhat muddy, it gave way to gravel and dull shale as the trail began to slope downward.
((I am soon going to incorporate new perks that can be gained via leveling up. Each class will have a unique set, some of which will be shared by other classes. They will be gained at random. Each of these perks can have multiple levels, like counter. A level 1 there is a 2% chance that person will strike back at the enemy. At level 2 it increases to 4%, at level 3 to 6% and so on. About half of them will have a level cap while some will not.))
While traveling down, Garwend makes a groan and moves in such a way as to indicate that his left foot was in pain. He finds a Standard Cuprite Obsidian Earring (+4 Magic Defense and Water Damage +d4) attached to the bottom of his boot.

((I think the moment you suggested that it would be funny if I had your character do something. I do not recall the specifics, but I misinterpreted that as as "I want to be the funny one". I shall hence forth make the events happen around your character in a more serious tone.))
((Oh cool, perks specific to a class sound great. I presume that earring means that you add a d4 to any water damage you do? Or does it mean that all attacks gain a d4 water damage. Either way, it's pretty good. Could probably throw that on Alyssa to buff her water damage, both from Waterfall(when it's learned enough ap to be castable) and Wave. Since Garwend is absent, I'll redistribute that item.))
Kaleth begrudgingly left the stone in Garwend's care. Hopefully, the man could be trusted. The Thragon and his companions began packing up the equipment and other such items. When the group was ready, they set out into the rain, heading towards Marshtowers. The cold air of the mountain was only worsened by the rain.
The travel took a while, but eventually, the group reached a path down the mountain. The was muddy and eroded, making it difficult to traverse, especially while moving downwards. Somewhere along the way, Garwend felt a sharp pain, or at the very least, a discomfort in his left foot. He eventually motioned the group to stop, finding the pain quite hindering in his movements. Kaleth walked over to investigate.
...
Kaleth was able to remove a shard of stone from Garwend's boot. Upon washing the grime and dirt away in the rain, it was discovered that the item was no regular piece of stone. It seemed to be a piece of jewelry, likely an earring. It had a dark purple color, and there were deep crimson gems embedded within. While Kaleth knew little of earrings in particular, he had a feeling that this one was magical in origin. He walked over to Alyssa and offered it to her.
"This earring seems... Magical. I know not what its purpose is, but perhaps it might help you." Kaleth said as he outstretched his hand.
When he was finished, he quickly reoriented himself towards the path towards Marshtowers.
"Now that that's done, we should continue."

The group walk down the rocky, muddy path, finally passing the base of the mountain. Eastern Marsh Towers was in site, only a short walk away through a road dotted by farms, huts and orchards. They stop short just before the gate as a group of guards halt them.
"Please stop for a moment." One of the guards says as he approaches the party brandishing a short sword, not in a threatening manner, but rather a dutiful one.
"We are on the lookout for someone and will need to inspect you".
The guard looks over at the team. "Someone with a . . . stone? Hold on a moment."
He reaches in his pocket, reveals a paper, unfurls it and examines it. "Hmm . . ."
