Lancaster decided to shift to the left-middle of the group. He felt surprising guilt free, for leaving your entire (city?) behind. Instead, to block out any negative thoughts, he thought about sewing. He was always an amazing tailor, but he would never admit that to anyone because it is seen as a more "girly" hobby. He didn't care. It was fun. He had a slight feeling he was being watched. That was probably a side effect of being an "escaped" noble, always being watched like a bird of prey watches its... Prey.

Kaleth heard his companion, the other prisoner, say that he had a problem with bloodlust. He decided to stay quiet, perhaps he would bring it up when it was safer. For now though, there was still the matter of escaping the city. Most of the guards looked distraught or otherwise preoccupied by the dragon attack, he they weren't paying too much attention. Still, it was unlikely that they would let the group pass through as if nothing happened
"Everybody stay low. Keep out of sight." Kaleth whispered to his allies as he darted from building, to rubble, to another building. When the guards happened to be looking in his general direction, he would pause, then continue when they weren't. Eventually, he made it to the shattered gate, little guards kept watch here, those that did were still distracted by the dragon attack. Kaleth waited for the right moment to move again, and when it appeared, he took it, quickly, but quietly making his way into the foliage of the wilderness.
Kaleth had this strange feeling of being watched. Perhaps a guard had seen him? No, if one had, then the guard would have reported it. A faint glow emanated from his pocket, but it was still relatively unnoticable from a farther distance. Kaleth himself didn't notice it until all of his allies had regrouped.

"Yes, the Marshtowers sound plenty fine to my ears. I just don't want to be in this place anymore, " Garwend said as he was really anxious that someone would catch them.
((Marshtowers it is then. I suppose yckud will have to make an adventure event chain like before then(encountering monsters, and the such). Unless of course he'd like to skip the trek entirely and have us appear in the city. I do believe we've got a dragon-stone event to take care of still.))
"Let's go then." Kaleth said as he took a knee, examining the ground beneath. He stopped for a moment before standing up and pointing in the general direction of Marshtowers. He began walking, albeit somewhat cautiously. It was dangerous to do move too quickly, as it would draw attention to the party.
He'd just have to find the vantage point they had rested before, then a trek back to Marshtowers wouldn't be too difficult. He could only hope that the dragon wouldn't come back for seconds.

The party gather themselves out of view from Bleating Falls and head south. They find a trail, but it crosses a few mountains. After traveling only a hours distance on this trail they see a small being sitting on a fallen log lining the path. On closer inspection this smelly creature is gnawing on a severed finger from a humanoid. It sees the group and grins menacingly, leaps off the log and charges in delight.
Kaleth sighed in relief as the party made some distance away from Bleatingfalls. It was much too dangerous to be nearby, and so, he was happy to be away from the city. He followed the trail, a small dirt path into the mountains. Kaleth walked for what seemed to be hours until he noticed something. He encountered what seemed to be a small child... gnawing on a finger.
The creature grinned before charging at the group. As it came closer, Kaleth realized that this was no child. He drew his shamshir, ready to strike down this creature.

The party decide to engage the attacking Gremling.

Godric: 19 +12--------31

Garwend: 2 +12-------14
Lancaster: 19 +15-----34))
Lancaster quickly lunges forward and slashes the fiend in its left thigh, leaving a massive gash (inflicting 3 damage). The creature lands on its hands and quickly brings itself up and stumbles to attack Godric. Godric easily counters by swinging his panabas at its head, leaving it unable to move (inflicting 4 damage).
((Success! Lancaster and Godic both earn 6 combat xp. Godric gains +1% to his Panabas mastery and Lancaster earns +4% to his knife mastery.))
((Weapons now have a magic modifier and the material they are made of brings a bonus to magic attack.))
((When you guys are ready to move on>))
The party continue their travels south through the mountain path. It begins to rain and the trail now muddy. Before long the sun crawls behind the mountain peaks and dims the land. A small cave only about a dozen feet deep into the mountain side shows itself. However, while no one appears to be there, evidence around and in it show that it may be in use already.
((Oh cool, we may have to make Alyssa a magic weapon of some sort so that when spells don't cut it, she can dish out some damage when she can't cast spells.))
"Huh. Well done." Kaleth said as he watched the scene develop in front of him in the blink of an eye. The noble had taken the initiative and advanced, striking the creature. Godric followed up with a swift blow to the head. With that, the creature was dead. Kaleth walked over to the now-dead creature and looked around before kneeling onto the ground. He took out a carving knife. Perhaps this creature had something, but it was likely that the only thing it contained was flesh. Still, Kaleth continued to dig the knife into its skin, mostly out on the hunt for anything of value.

"I've never stabbed someone in the leg before. Purposefully, atleast." He smirked a little bit. Actually, he had killed someone... There was an execution, and he was forced to bring down the axe... But he felt no guilt. He enjoyed it. He had a sickening grin as the blood splattered, on the axe, the walls, bystanders... He watched the rogue begin skinning the gremlin. While nobody was looking, he slowly licked the blood from the knife. ((Actually... That's not very sanitary.)) He tasted the iron, the metal taste lasting in his mouth.

Kaleth could not find anything of value on or in the corpse. ((Also just for curiosity sake, when i put "ling" at the end of a creature's name, it is on purpose. They are cousins of there normal counterparts if you will. Just in case if anyone didnt know.))

Kaleth wiped the blood off his blade with a spare linen cloth as he rose from the ground. He looked to the trail, leading into a mountainous forest region. It was time to depart again. They had to make some distance away from Bleatingfalls, as it was much to dangerous to stay. They would rest when the night would come.

The night draws near and the clouds begin to weep as it starts to rain. The party are now just before the highest point of the mountain trail. A small cave lay next to the trail, but signs point that it may be inhabited already.
