Kaleth nodded in assent. It was time to go. With all his companions by his side, barring the late Fenrir, they were ready to go. He reached for the doorknob with his off-hand, his sword-arm still on his blade. Kaleth pushed the door open with caution to prevent the guards from hearing. He had hoped that most were either dead or otherwise incapacitated by the dragon.
Behind the door was the guard from before. Kaleth could vaguely recognize him as the man who tried to help them on the first escape attempt. Maybe this man would help them? He was still a guard...
"You..." Kaleth said as he gripped his blade tighter. He was unsure of this.

As Kaleth pushed open the door, Godric held his panabas ready. He hoped there were no guards on the other side. His hopes turned to horror, and then hope again when he saw a guard on the other side, who couldn't have possibly missed all six of them, nor missed what both Kaleth and Alyssa had spoken. But not only was it just one guard, it was that snooty noble guard that didn't look able to fight a rat. And Godric remembered overhearing the noble whispering towards Garwend in the prison that he was going to aid them. Course, that was shortly before the noble set himself on fire, so his sanity is in question at the moment.
"Who are you, and whose side are you on?" Godric demanded, his panabas ready to swing at a moment's notice.

Lancaster hadn't expected anybody to come through the door, but if they were prisoners, he had no intent of making them stay in that musty, dusty, and somewhat rusty prison. He recognized the "criminals" instantly. But there was one that made him nearly soil his trousers. The girl. He tried. He tried to ignore her.
"I'm on... Uhh..." He snapped back into his noble mindset. "Well hello to you too, escaped prisoners. I guess you could say I'm on your side? And no, before you ask, I actually do not have an intent to harm, maim, or even kill you." He slid his knife behind his back, but decided to drop it to the ground to show peace.

Kaleth watched as the man tried to defuse the situation. He explained that he was on the group's side, and would not harm them. Kaleth heard a clattering of metal, then a knife was on the ground. It would seem that if this man wanted to harm, then he wouldn't have the knife to attack them with. Alyssa began to interrogate the man, while Kaleth stepped forward as he checked the man for weapons. When he was done, he spoke.
"Huh. No other weapons." Kaleth said, as he picked up the man's knife with his free hand.
"You're playing a dangerous game, guard. What do you want?"

Lancaster had a tendency to chuckle at times that would seem inappropriate, and this was one of those moments. He chuckled for a legitimate reason, too. One of the prisoners made a remark on his ability to harm the party. He wasn't able to take this whole group, but he could put tactile thinking to excellent use if he had an intent to kill.
"Well..." Nicholas shuffled his feet. "I would like to help you out! My family kinda owns this prison... But no matter! I just want some adventure! Cliche, I know, but it's true." Lancaster was still holding back on telling them that he wanted to, usurp, if you will, the family house.
