"I'm not heartless." Godric stated, displaying hints of feeling insulted in his tone. "I'm just wary of trespassers. Understandably so, between the affliction and the rise in roadside banditry in areas like this. You clearly aren't afflicted, and you aren't bandits." Godric turned, surprised when the male human spoke. "Honestly, I'm quite surprised you recognized these berries. Yes, either have your Thragon friend eat them, or apply the juices to his wound. They're not miracle cures, but they should at least be enough to get him back on his feet." He offered the berries to the group.

Whatever I just said, I didn't mean any offense. Unless we're fighting, in which case I probably did.
If I said something was a joke when it didn't seem like one, I'm making an excuse to avoid an argument I know is coming. Instead of telling me how not funny I am and how it didn't seem like a joke at all, just go along with it. Because flame wars suck and nobody wants to be a part of one.

"I don't expect you to." Godric replied. "And I really couldn't care how offended you are, as I am preoccupied trying my very hardest not to be offended by your arrogance."

Kaleth instructs Zenowo to eat two of the berries while he smashes the other two on his wound and rub it in gently. Kaleth then reaches in his pocket and offers the piece of paper from the chest to the elf. "As a resident of these woods, I was wondering if you knew anything about what is written on this paper."
Godric grabbed the note, read it carefully, then handed it back. "I'm afraid I've never seen the note, or anything related to what's on it. I know about the cave, but I've never gone inside or seen anything enter or exit, save a few small animals."

Kaleth glances in the dark cave then back to the elf. "We are going inside to find out as much information about the note as we can. Once we are finished we will leave this area unless other pressing issues force us to stay or return. You are more than welcome of course to follow, but if so, let us at least have the pleasure, or perhaps displeasure, of exchanging names."
"You'd better to bring torches! It's dark inside!" I warned the group.

I'm getting bored of Minecraft (especially servers). However, modpacks give a new type of gameplay and challenges. Therefore I'm resorting to modpacks. To play. And many other games.
"Tell me about it!" I said."We know it's dark in there. Does anyone have a method of getting torches...?"

"We need to find something able to burn. Either coal or charcoal will do. We need to craft them anyway." I said, "Too bad I'm not skilled at crafting."

((I'm fairly certain coal/charcoal is not required to make torches in real life, or in this case, this fantasy world. This isn't Minecraft, after all.))
Kaleth looked away from the elf and instead, towards his companions. Particularly Bert, who had warned them of the danger of entering the cave without a light. It was true, entering a place without proper preparation is dangerous, even more so in a dark cave.
"We will need neither of those." Kaleth said to the group.
"We simply need a fire, and some wood. Perhaps a bit of cloth would not hurt as well."
Basic survival skills were taught to everyone in the tribe; men, women, and children alike were all trained to survive in the wilderness. Kaleth was no exception to this. Of course, being in the warrior caste meant that he would do less of any of those tasks. Nonetheless, he was sure to put them to the test at some point. Kaleth looked back towards the elf, intending to learn his name.
((Note: I will still be able to post at some points of the day, but not as often as I usually am. That being said, do not hesitate to move me if I need to perform an action.))
If I do not reply to my posts, I either have no internet connection, or am busy with college work. Alternatively, I may be writing up the post now. It all depends on the situation.
((I never crafted myself a torch in real life, so all I thought of a torch is coal/charcoal and a stick))
"Okay, what can I do for helping gathering materials for torch?" I asked.
((Ha, the berries were far more useful than my heal spells that is expensive))

Kaleth watched as the group introduced themselves one by one. The elf went first, then Zenowo, then Bert. Alyssa had yet to speak. As a gesture of greetings, he placed his arm against his chest and made a curt bow.
"I am referred to as Scaleshield by my people, but you may refer to me as Kaleth." he said to the elf who had now addressed himself as Godric.
Kaleth decided to put on the Adventurine Cuirass. It seemed better than his linen one, and it may help protect him from whatever is in that cave. He reached down and grabbed the Chalcedony Quarterstaff that he had placed on the ground earlier. He offered it to Alyssa, but not before twirling it in the air with a flourish. Kaleth could vividly remember the spear-games he played with the other children in his tribe.

Kaleth turned to Bert, he had offered to gather sticks for torches. "Go do so. You're looking for dry wood that we can set alight. As for the fire, I'm sure we'll think of something." he said as he pondered on what to do. Several moments later, a realization came to his head. Kaleth turned once more, this time to Alyssa.
"Do you think you have a spell of some sort that can set things on fire?" Kaleth asked. From what he heard from the shaman's apprentice, fire magic was a fairly basic spell to learn. Perhaps Alyssa would know how to cast fire magic.

I followed Kaleth's instructions, and went to the forest to gather some dry woods. 10 pieces of dry woods should be enough, in case of burnt out torches.
