Xander turned on Jacob when a question was asked and all but glared at him,
"I have learnt all of this, boy, because I was there when the strength of Eversio failed. I was there when the Creator turned his back on us and let us die."
He scowled at everyone in turn, "None of you remember everything. None of you remember all of the pain and suffering of my people."
His posture was ridged as he stopped, irritation and anger blatant on his face. Xander's scar seemed to stand out on his face more now, the jagged line contrasting with his livid expression.
Xander took a breath. Seemingly to calm himself, and spoke again,
"Gather your belongings, we'll be leaving shortly. Bring anything that you don't want to leave behind, leave anything that you can live without. It's likely that once we retrieve Alya, we won't be coming back to this location."

((Percy to the rescue))
Percy sat on a wooden bench as he watched the comings and goings of the common folk. He enjoyed watching the little games of the human children, and the way their petty parents would run after them. It was peaceful here, and it was a welcome change. Running errands for Mr. Fo wasn't exactly the calmest lifestyle, nor the easiest.
Just last week, Percy had almost been killed while retrieving a package. He didn't know what was so special about it, just a box in plain brown paper. But, Mr. Fo demanded that it be carried with the utmost caution. So, that's what Percy did. He was, after all, very good at his job.
Two people suddenly caught Percy's attention, just out of his peripheral view. He turned to see them more clearly, but kept his head down beneath his cap. To anyone watching, he would appear as a beggar sleeping on a park bench. He continued to watch the two figures and saw what appeared to be a flurry of paper. Along with that paper, he noticed a very familiar wax stamp.
He grinned beneath the cap, realizing that these were the last two Caelings that still needed to join Xander. Percy checked his watched, he was scheduled to receive a pick up in ten minutes. Not enough time to talk to the Caelings, then. He quickly reached into his coat, drawing out a pen and a small slip of paper. On this paper he quickly wrote,
Xander Fo, Cael, Hurry
40-01 24TH ST, QUEENS, NY 11101
Percy jumped up from his spot on the bench and walked towards the duo. He quickly brushed past the older one while simultaneously shoving the folded up paper into his hand. Percy kept walking hurriedly, and soon stepped out of the park and onto the street, disappearing into the crowd.
((I'm going to steal your speech system, @DerpyDanny. It makes it a lot easier to read.))
As this man read the letter, Griffin's eyes went wide in disbelief.
How did he know my name? I've never told anyone my name. That just doesn't make any.. Griffin cut his thoughts off, as the man was looking at him. Oh, right. The guy's still here.
"What does all that mean? I can't be a, uhh, whatever they are."
Before the man could say something, Griffin barked out some more questions. "Who is Xander Fo? Do I really have to go to the airport? There will be too many people there! Where will he be? What does he want?"
Griffin started getting very panicky, like he usually does when he thinks too much about the future.
Cedric was about to reply to the boy's questions, when he felt a piece of paper slipped into his hand. Looking down at it, he saw that it was an address, along with the message, "Xander Fo, Cael, Hurry."
"We have to go," Cedric said to the kid. "I know where we can find Xander Fo. I'll explain things on the way."
"By the way, my name's Cedric Killian, and I, like you, am a ruler of Cael."
<~><~><~><~><~>
"Sorry again," Alex said to Alyssa. "Anyways, there's a new guy here, and he's another ruler. Also, we found an unconsious person on the floor. Don't ask." Alex gestured to the door. "Xander's back, too, and he wants everyone to wake up, so I woke everyone up."
Not thinking of much more to say, Alex turned and walked out the door, hoping Alyssa would follow.
Xander turned around to face Jacob, anger clearly visible in his features.
"I have learnt all of this, boy, because I was there when the strength of Eversio failed. I was there when the Creator turned his back on us and let us die."
Jacob raised an eyebrow at the man when he heard the contemptuous remark. His expression faded, however, when he felt the man's anger. He's seen that kind of rage before. This kind of anger was not out of spite. It was out of pain. Of reality. Of truth.
Creator. Jacob had always found solace in that word. Even more so than god or deity. It always seemed... right to him. Xander then looked at everyone with rage and continued his remark.
"None of you remember everything. None of you remember all of the pain and suffering of my people."
Jacob stared at the man with pity. If what the man said was true, then that was painful to go through. Jacob then pondered briefly about his own people.Suddenly, an vague image came to his head. A very familiar one. In one moment, a great and proud city in the mountains. In the next moment, the same city, desolated and almost devoid of life. The image disappeared as quickly as it came, but Jacob felt a connection to it.
It was then that Jacob stared at the man with compassion and empathy. He did not quite see everything there was in that vision, but he knew enough that his own people had come to an end as well. It was not enough however. Though Jacob had learned a great deal about Cael, he had still not recovered his memories. He wanted to know. He wanted to remember again, even if it meant seeing all the destruction and death again.
Jacob's reverie was broken by Xander's voice, much calmer this time, in contrast to the previous statements.
"Gather your belongings, we'll be leaving shortly. Bring anything that you don't want to leave behind, leave anything that you can live without. It's likely that once we retrieve Alya, we won't be coming back to this location."
Jacob then remembered the letter Xander had mailed him. It detailed how he needed help from the rulers of Cael in exchange for the promise of returning memories and their great kingdom. While Jacob was not really interested in bringing about a long-dead dynasty, he was definitely wanted his memories back. He did not have much to gather, after all, his luggage was with him.
"Very well. But I want answers when we're finished." Jacob said to Xander.
Jacob then noticed one of the other people in the building moving closer to him. Presumably, this man was also a former ruler of Cael. After all, this was a gathering of all the reborn Caelean rulers. The man opened his mouth to speak when he had gotten close enough at a respectable distance.
"I don't think we've met, I'm Nathan" the man said in a polite tone.
"I'm Jacob Stratham. A pleasure to meet you." Jacob said in reply. He could almost remember the formal lessons he had learned when he was still in school. Always keep a proper posture, look at the other person in the eyes, be polite and curt. The memory was cut short when he remember he had things to do. He cocked his head to the side, making a gesture that implied he was heading in that direction. Jacob then walked over to the weapon rack, where he saw various ancient armaments.
((Am I allowed to reclaim Jacob's old weaponry from his time on Cael, or are there just generic kingdom weapons?))

When Xander answered the question of the newcomer, Nathan visible flinched. Whatever he had been expecting it wasn't the anger laden responce that Xander gave. His scowl emphasised the words he was saying. He knew about all of this because he could remember it, he could remember the fall of Cael. He said that he could remember the pain and suffering. He seemed angry that none of them could remember. Nathan was simultaneously empathetic and scared. He felt sorry for all that Xander had seen and how he could not remember the experience. But Xander frightened him with the anger in his voice. When he calmed himself down, Nathan still felt empathetic. He simply had not known the horror that Xander had witnessed.
With that over, Xander told them to gather their belongings as they would be leaving shortly. But before Nathan could follow that order, the newcomer had answered Nathan's introduction. He was named Jacob Stratham. Shortly after their breif introduction he began moving in the direction of the weapon rack. At this point Nathan thought that it would be best for him to gather up his belongings. Nathan had packed light and had managed to take his backpack with him when Xander had ushered them to the warehouse the previous day. It took him a moment before he remembered where he had put it. He found it sitting next to the door where he had unconsciously put it when he entered the place.
With his belongings once again with him, Nathan was almost ready to go. But there was one last thing he needed before he could leave. That one thing was information. He wanted to know where they were going, he had already been taken somewhere without knowing where he was going. That place was the warehouse. Nathan didn't want to start a habit of going place he knew nothing about. So he decided to ask as it was the only way of him finding out where they were heading.
"May I ask, where are we going?" he asked.
((I had forgotten about Nathan's backpack for several pages. I hope that it is alright that I just write it back in now))
I got out of bed and followed Alex. This had been the craziest two days ever.

Whatever I just said, I didn't mean any offense. Unless we're fighting, in which case I probably did.
If I said something was a joke when it didn't seem like one, I'm making an excuse to avoid an argument I know is coming. Instead of telling me how not funny I am and how it didn't seem like a joke at all, just go along with it. Because flame wars suck and nobody wants to be a part of one.

((If you want to make your characters to have a greater impact in RPs, you're going to have to take a more active stance with them. Interact with other characters, and the environment. Do questionable things to draw attention. Those kind of things. I understand that in some RPs, 'Alyssa' is the kind of person that has no intention to draw attention to herself("she doesn't go out of her way to talk to others" kind of deal). That's the kind of thing that implies your character doesn't want the attention.
If you really want more attention, your character is going to have to initiate(directly, or indirectly). Unless someone else in the RP group is highly sociable and talks to everyone, you shouldn't expect conversation unless during character development. Of course, some RPs have natural barriers for character attention. Let's take a look at this RP. In Divine Rebirth, there is a rag-tag group of reborn rulers. Pretty cool. They also have powers. Also cool. While people could talk to Alyssa(or any other character, for that matter), they're busy unraveling the secrets of their past life, and of their powers. Understandable. After all, you're immortal, there'll be time for chit-chat later, right? The mysteries of their ancient past seem much more... interesting.
How do you prevent this? Just take an active stance in the RP! You don't even have to directly talk to people, just do something that will make them want to talk to you. Save their life with an ice barrier or something, I don't know. If you're talking about making your character a "main character", you're going to have some difficulty. Some people have more interesting characters, which pull attention away from yours. Most of the time, in my case, my character gets booted to a secondary supporting character. Honestly, I'm fine with that role. Think of an RP as a clock. Each person is a gear inside that makes it tick. Not all of them can be the big gear, and even then. In good cases, all gears are of equal size(lets assume a clock would still work after that), where all players equally contribute to the story. In any case, play the role you've been given, and play it well. If you don't like your role, well, the only one that can change it, is you.

Roughly 95% of Minecraft players hate Villagers and would be very happy if they were removed. If you are one of the 5% who actually like villagers, copy this into your signature.-RainbowGirl
