Diz gawked at the common room. For one, it was quite large. He quickly rationalized that it could probably be to compensate for having a lot of students around and that it was the only place the gender division was noot, but he still couldn't help but smile in wonder. He wasn't a sheltered boy by any chance, no, it was more on the face that he lived a pretty harsh life up until Iliad, who, despite meaning well, isn't quite all too good at providing, regardless of the fact that she made over two hundred an hour, though that was well beyond the point.
Seeing no one yet around, he then set upon firmly on his decision. He dived for one of the couches, embracing the plush throw pillows neatly placed on it's luxurious folds, promptly messing up the setting of the unfortunate couch that Diz targeted. "Ah, these things feel great! Nothing quite the level of angelic down, but wings make for bad pillows anyway." Opting to relax for a bit, Diz rolled around the couch for a few more seconds before picking himself back up, and searching for his dorm assignment.
"Hmm, room two, huh? Alrighty then." Bounding up the stairs with energy, Diz didn't wander long before finally finding his room. Opening the door, he wondered at the lack of locks, before finding a set of keys within. From this he gleaned that up to four students could stay in a room, yet from the neat look of the place, he could tell it was still untouched. He'd given the facilities a once over, mildly miffed at having to share space, but would keep his complaints to himself. Blessings are meant to be counted, after all. Calling dibs on the bed closest to the door, Diz threw his duffelbag of meager items on it, nodding to himself, before making his way down to the common room once more. Sitting again on the couch he targeted, Diz decided to wait, to see who could be his possible classmates.

Puella Magi Madoka Magicka is an awesome, feel-good, cutesy anime. You should watch it!
Adam looked around the dorm's common room. It seemed comfortable. There were a couple of students already in the room, and they did not seem human. One of the students was curled up in one of the cozy armchairs, they seemed to be asleep. Adam quickly decided not to disturb them, most people don't like being disturbed while they slept. Especially not by a complete stranger. If he was going to stay at this school it would be best not to make those around him dislike him. He still didn't know what they thought of lycanthropes, so it was best to try to stay on thier good side.
There was another student in the dorm room, this student was very clearly not human. They seemed almost reptilian, almost draconic. Adam had never seen anyone like them before, however he was still quite new to the supernatural world. Adam had a feeling that he was only going to see more of that world from then on.
He gripped his suitcase and walked further into the room, feeling a bit overwhealmed. He had expected that life at this school was going to be different from his old life, but he didn't expect it to be so radically different. Even after he turned into a lycanthrope, he still had lived in the human world. Although he hid, he did not want anyone to know that wasn't human, wasn't human anymore. Adam absentmindedly sat down in a chair not too far from the reptilian student. The chair was comfortable, the kind that when one sits in it they don't really want to get up again. He placed his suitcase next to the chair and just stared upwards into space.
"It is going to take a while to get used to this place" he said.
"It is going to take a while to get used to this place." Lugaid heard. He smiled.
"Im sure it will." He opened his eyes. Another student had sat down near him in a different chair. He turned his head to him. He looked human but... slightly different. (Unsure of his appearence, im not scrolling back to hunt for it) Lugaid extended his hand. "I'm Lugaid." His low voice rumbled. He observed the other person's face. They seemed nervous, almost scared, like he'd never seen something like him before. "Don't worry, my claws arent that sharp." He said.

Seeing that nobody was really paying attention to him, Christian shrugged and continued wandering in a semi straight path until he came the academic office. He entered the building and sat on floor near a wall to watch what the other people were doing so he could figure what he was supposed to be doing.
((In short, Adam's teeth are sharp with elongated canines. His ears come to a slight point and his nails look a bit like claws))
Adam was sitting there staring into space, feeling a little overwhealmed by the school. It was a place filled with the supernatural, that much he knew. But what else did this school have? Magic? Probably. There was so much about the supernatural world that Adam didn't know, despite the fact that he was part of it. It would take time to get used to all of it, hence what Adam had said earlier. He knew that he would, that the supernatrual might seem almost normal after a while.
Adam's train of though was interrupted by a voice that came from near him. He turned to face the speaker, which was revealed to be the reptillian student that Adam has sat near to. They had agreed with what Adam had said about how it would take time to get used to this place. They extended their hand, probably for a handshake, and identified themselves as Lugaid. They remarked that their claws were not that sharp, whether this was said for Adam's benefit or if they were joking he wasn't sure.
Adam accepted the handshake, Lugaid was the first student he met at this place. He seemed friendly. Perhaps Adam had made his first friend here, it took much less time than at his old school. Friends was something that Adam hadn't had for a while. He sort of pushed them away after he became a lycanthrope. He just didn't want them to know that he wasn't human. But that would change after he came to this place, right? He knew that he didn't have to hide anymore but he still felt almost like he needed to. That would probably go away with time. Adam, returning to reality, returned the greeting to Lugaid.
"My name is Adam" he said, aware of the fact that his sharp teeth could be seem when he talked. But he was talking to a student that seemed reptilian, so it was quite possible that they would not care that he wasn't human.

~Hyperion~
"Why hello there, my boy!" Hyperion says, directing his attentions to Chris. "You are...." Hyperion waves his hands around a bit, pretending to look at Christian's face. "Christian delGosso." He smiles. "Here is your identification card and schedule. Find your room, get set up, and hang around. Your uniform will be given to you tomorrow, which is also when classes start."
((A note; uniforms only need to be worn at events and during theoretical classes, such as English & Math. Casual uniform is permitted at any other time.))

Adam's face fell slightly, he was just asked a question by Lugaid. It wasn't a hard question, he had asked what powers he had. He has been hoping to keep what he was a secret for a little while at least, maybe find out what the other students thought of lycanthropes. But now he had been asked about what powers he had. There was one power that clearly labelled him as a lycanthrope, the ability to change into a wolf-like form. The second question was an extension of the first. He asked if Adam used any magic, unlike the first question Adam was more comfortable answering this one.
"No, I don't know any magic" he said, almost seeming like he was stalling.
What harm could come from telling Lugaid that he was a lycanthrope? Well he might not like them or even be afraid of them. If that was the case than any chances of them becoming friends would be destroyed. On the other hand there was a chance that he would be indifferent or even like lycanthropes. It was the not knowing that Adam didn't like. It was sort of scary and irritating at the same time. Adam could not read minds so he could only hope for a good reaction. Perhaps there was a way around this, only telling Lugaid his powers without giving away the fact that he was a lycanthrope.
"My powers huh... I have enhanced strength, speed and senses" Adam said, his nervous tone hinting that he might be hiding something.
"What about you?" he asked, giving a forced smile.
Adam paused a moment before answering. "No, I don't know any magic." He said. There was still the possibility for other powers. As adam paused yet again, Lugaid was about to speak, before Adam spoke again. "My powers huh... I have enhanced strength, speed and senses." Adam said nervously. Lugaid thought he might be hiding something. He decided not to press. "What about you?" Adam asked.
"Me? I have magic in the form of tomes. I write an incantation on paper, then read it aloud, and the spell is cast. It needs to be written is a special alphabet, almost its own language." Lugaid said this without hesitation. His magic was nothing to ever hide, there was no reason to. "Would you like a demonstration? I promise it wont damage anything."

Puella Magi Madoka Magicka is an awesome, feel-good, cutesy anime. You should watch it!
Dusk watched as more seemingly new students approached the large building, that was enough time at the water making device. He turned and strolled up to the large entrance, the entire structure seeming to grow as he approached, a phenomenon called depth perception, a fairly common phenomenon at that. Dusk slowed his pace as he approached the glass door that covered the reception, it slid open without making a sound. "Hmm, okay then." Dusk stepped forwards to see a flailing madman and a student with an unimpressed look printed on their face.
Dusk walked a little closer, still clutching the paper he had been given, trying hard to to catch the attention of the weird. ~maybe if i sneak past i can just go over to the receptiony bit, that is probably where i have to get to..~ Dusk looked left and right, there wasn't really any way he could get around the man in the white suit without being spotted. Dusk decided that it wasn't worth the risk and turned around, walking back out the reception area door.
It appeared that Adam's plan had worked, Lugaid didn't question him further about his abilities. Whether he suspected anything was a question that Adam didn't have an answer to. He knew that eventually the other students would find out about his lycanthropy. Hopefully they would not overreact. After all Adam did have control when he was in his wolf form. As Adam thought the conversation continued, with Lugaid saying that he could use magic.
The magic Lugaid used was in the form of tomes, he said that he can write an incantation and speak it out loud to cast the spell. Though the incantation needed to be written in a special alphabet in order for it to be able to be used. It did seem like a good system of magic to use, but Adam knew nothing about magic, how it can be used or any of its lore. Lugaid told Adam about his magic without a moment of hesitation. Indicating that he, unlike Adam, did not was to hide his abilities. But as far as Adam knew his abilities did not involve transforming into a wolf-like humanoid. Adam was still a little worried about how Lugaid and the other students would react to the information that he was a lycanthrope. It sort of just nagged at the back of his mind, reminding him of his secret and how he had hidden the fact that he was supernatural.
Lugaid offered to show him a demonstration of his magic, promising that he would not damage anything. Adam had only rarely seen magic, not many of the people he knew practised the craft. Adam was curious about the kind of magic Lugaid used. He nodded in responce to Lugaid's offer to show off his magic.
"I have never tried using magic before..." he said.

Aerth is the only nation on the planet where humans are basically the same as they are on Earth, except they can use magic.
((That's from the OP. Magic is a common thing, sorry if that wasn't clear.
Basically, anybody can use magic (with training.) You can't hide somebodies nature from them.
You can however, hide other people's natures.
Don't worry about editing your posts, it's still entirely possible to have not ever seen real magic, but yeah.))

Dusk feels unable to progress further, as if an imaginary wall is blocking his path. Hyperion lowers his hand. As a matter of fact, a hard-light wall blocks Dusk's progression. "You there, puer solis ac lunae, where are your manners?" Hyperion smiles that dazzlingly bright smile. "What is that phrase he loves so dearly?" Hyperion pretends to mull over the answer. "Ah yes, Respice in corde suo." He flicks his hand, and Dusk is lightly pushed back into the room.
