(This RP would happen between the events of The Battle of the Five Armies and the Fellowship of the Ring. If you want to do this RP, I suggest watching The Battle of the Five Armies first, as there will be some spoilers in this)
(We see the fortress of Dol Guldur, and two figures talking in one of the deepest chambers.)
Orc Lieutenant: "War is upon us. Our "great leader" Sauron stews in the east, the dwarves cower in there little mountain, and the elves hide behind the walls of their stronghold, and the arms of their king. Now is the perfect time to strike, master."
Unknown Figure: "Soon, very soon will have our revenge. But you must be patient, little orc"
Orc Lieutenant: "Why must we wait, master? At any time, Rohan or Gondor will hear about the events of the Battle for the Mountain and we will lose the element of surprise."
Unknown Figure: "This I am counting on. Put your faith in me, and I shall lead the orcs to glory."
Orc Lieutenant: "I trust you, master. But don't make me regret it. You do not have any power with my orcs."
Unknown Figure: (Lets out a deep laugh) "Is the servant threatening his master? As I said, be patient, and good things shall come. Your orcs will have Rohan, but I have my eyes set on another prize."
After the events of the Battle for the Mountain, orcs have regrouped in Dol Guldur and begun to pan a strike against the southern nation of Rohan. Meanwhile, the dwarves in the Mountain have called out to their brothers and sisters in the Iron Hills, inviting them back to their homeland, but the humans of Dale begin to lust for the treasure inside the Mountain. Now, the elves of Mirkwood must make a choice; Stay and defend their home, or strike out against the growing force of Orcs in Dol Guldur.
You can choose on of five factions:
Riders of Rohan: The horsemen soldiers have the task of defending their home nation from goblins, orcs, and roving bands of bandits. Armed with bows, crossbows, and spears, these mobile cavalry do most of their fighting from horseback. Rohan armor in light, consisting of leather and chain mail, and most soldiers use small, wooden, shields, reinforced by iron.
Orcs: After the Battle for the Mountain, Orcs are scattered and travel in roving packs, preying on innocent travelers and merchants. There is some centralized command chain in Dol Guldur, but the troops there number no more then a couple dozen. Orcs are usually armed with all kinds of weapons including scythes, swords, spears, bows, crossbows, axes, knives, clubs, and maces. Orc armor is light, usually just a breastplate, but sometimes you will see a helmet.
People of Dale: The people of Dale, formerly of Laketown, must try to find their place in the ruined city of Dale under their Lord, Bard Dragonslayer. This ragtag group of humans are usually armed with makeshift weapons such as sickles, fishing spears, rusty swords, hunting bows, and some crossbows. Their armor consists of tough leather and rarely, chain mail.
Elves of Mirkwood: The Elves hide in their Mirkwood stronghold, under their great king, Thaundril. Elven weapons include longbows, knives, short swords, long swords, and sometimes spears. Their armor is just woodland camouflage, which is a mottled gray-green tunic, dull trousers and boots, and hidden chain mail.
Dwarves of the Iron Hills: The dwarves of the Iron Hills marched to defend the mountain, and after years of long wait, they will return to their home. They are armed with short swords, war hammers, war axes, spears, and maces. Dwarves are heavily armored, usually wearing plate mail and chain mail.
