The totodile carrying Saytol sped up and moved away from the battle. He dimly noted the places they passed by, but couldn't really focus on them. Eventually, they reached a field where there were a group of krilas. The group talked for a while, but Saytol didn't pay much attention to them. Suddenly, he felt his pain ease somewhat with a heal pulse. How nice of them. Of course, this didn't actually heal the broken bone, but it would certainly help. Then, still carrying Saytol, the totodile turned and left. Saytol waved back at the group, but had to remember specifically to use his right non broken paw. They ended up on a beach and he could feel the sand in his fur as the totodile started a fire.

"... um... thank you... I'm sorry I don't have much to offer you as a reward... I mean... I have an everstone... but I don't think you'd want that. What's your name anyway?"

Flye overhead drops a water stone in front of Croc. " I'll pay that reward for you might as well i did ignore you during that fight." Flyte lands on a fallen log and tilts her had curiously at the duo. "hmm my ears never fail it was a Zoura."

Kor sat on his couch he made made by stacking rocks together and be began to eat some oran berries as wondered how that strange tododiles hunt for a moonstone was going before muttering to himself, "How much Longer should I train to get stronger before I let myself evolve. Hmm..."

After (properly) introducing himself to the injured Zorua, Croc left the Zorua temporarily in Flyte's care. He still had to deliver the moonstones to Kor. On the way, he turned the waterstone in his one of his hands. Now, even if I figure out how this thing works, how do I know it'll effect me?...

Flyte perches on a branch watching the zoura wondering what could have done such a thing and worse what got rid of the Zourak

"Well... my name is Oc- er... I mean... my name is Saytol. Ah... I'll stay here I suppose... bye."

He stretches out on the sand, being careful to not bend his leg, and looked around. There didn't seem to be anyone around ((Flyte didn't announce her presence)). Slowly, his vision was recovering. The fire was providing some comfort in the evening sun. He hoped it would stay lit for a while even though he couldn't add more logs very easily. Out of the corner of his vision, he noticed some movement in a nearby tree, but he couldn't make out anything specific. Somewhat concerned, he looked at the tree. There were some berry bushes by its truck. Maybe... if someone was watching, he could get a closer look and not alert them if he made the excuse of going to the berry bushes. He actually wanted the berries... but felt he shouldn't be moving much.

Flyte drops down from her perch landing a few feet away from the berries. Picking one up in her talons she carefully looked it over. It was a Oran berry it should work. Picking up a few she hopped over to Saytol and dropped the berries in arms reach. "Its Flyte and if i may ask one question what the heck happened to you?"

After some more rustling in the tree, something swooped out from it and plucked some berries off the bushes and approached Saytol. It was the flying thing from before, which he could now tell was a noibat. Once it had gotten close to him, it dropped off the berries it had collected near him. After this gift, it talked to him in a rather quick voice.

"Oh... ah... thank you. You we're fighting that... creature earlier, up near the mountain. My name is Saytol, and... as for what happened to me... I'll explain. I used to be... how should I say it... um... bound... by a trainer. I was sent to fight on... some kind of bridge. I took a terrible kick to the side of the head and... fell off the side. I must have broken my leg when I landed on it. I wandered around for a little and then I showed up by you fighting with whoever it was..."

Flyte's anger built up."Humans their all the same horrible and what i was fighting some jerk Ninetales not sure where it came from though." Flyte lifted her head up scanning the clearing and looking up into the sky at dark brewing clouds. "Well we better find shelter soon i can smell the storm coming do you think you can walk?"

Kor stopped his training session and looked up at the darkening sky before muttering to himself, "Huh... Looks like my rain dance earlier worked. Seems I must be getting better at it. Well I better stop training for now and let the rain pass." He then walked into his cave home and laid down on his bed of leaves and grass while looking outside.

"... I... don't actually think humans are all... that... hm... ... but... you were just attacked for no reason? ... ... I think I can walk... It would be good to find some shelter. Lets... just not go too fast..."

Saytol starts to follow you, and after a while starts talking again, somewhat on a ramble.

"About... about humans... you know... I actually want to learn about them... about a better way of interaction... I don't know all that much about them... but I'm sure there's a better way... Maybe if we just understood each other better... And... its not a case of 'all trainers are evil', because I knew some pokemon who liked the companionship... ... Do you know if there are any towns nearby? Once I'm feeling better, I'd like to visit one."

"Hey dude. I brought the moonstones or whatever." Croc drops the small pile of moonstones on the floor of the cave...

Flyte looks back up towards the sky watching the storm. "well your right to a degree but in all my time I've only met one human that was not horrible other wise I've seen it if your not good enough for them its goodbye." Flyte looked forward memories flowing through her. "There up-ahead!" Flyte pointed with one of her wings to a large tree with a hollow. "Just in time too." as a light rain slowly began.

Kor looked at the tododile and then to the moonstones before getting out of his bed and walking over, "Ah! Very good. Nice doing business with you." Kor then picks up the moonstone and begins moving them over onto a crude stone shelf made from stacked rocks like all his other pieces of furniture.

Saytol limped towards the hollow, pausing momentarily to pick a large leaf and fashion it into a sort of cup, which he left out under the rain.

"I would like some water... And, sorry about your history. Maybe I'm just being naïve about humans..."

Flyte hops over to the leaf and brings it over to Saytol. She hears a thud a Arcanine appears at the entrance. It barks for them to leave Flyte looks at him and walks out towards him. The Arcanine unleashes a blast of roaring flames at Flyte. Flyte winches inpain yet she remembers something shes been in a inferno hotter than this. She yells out to saytol "COVER YOUR EARS!" Flye walks forwards in the flame and fires a sonic boom the rush of air canceling out the flame and destroying the Arcanines eardrums it yelps out in pain and runs away of into the rain."Phew." Flyte collapses onto the ground covered in burns

"Okay I'm back and what the crap happened here? AND WHY IS EVERYTHING ELSE ON FIRE!?"

Flyte lifts up one of her wings to wave hi only for it to fall back down.

Saytol makes no effort to dodge the fire and just watches it come.

"Sigh... disaster seems to be following me... What? I can't cover my ears. Have you seen the size of- uh oh..."

The fire consumes the tree hollow. When it cleared, Saytol was gone.

He actually was a little distance off, illusioned as the arcanite. U-turn turned out to be quite helpful in situations like that and hopefully the illusion would fool the attacker, at least for a bit. The illusion started to splutter after a while. All he really wanted was somewhere to sleep, so he stopped near the mountainside and let his illusion fade as he went to sleep.

"Okay, that's nice. I have a burned tree on my beach now." Croc says. Oh hey whats this?" Croc reaches out and grabs a piece of charcoal. "Well this might come in handy. And, hey, it's Flyte, right? well what happened here anyway and the Zorua is gone I think."
