((Oko, please flesh out your backstory a bit more, it is seriously lacking.))
Danny stood, standing next to the street outside of the school. The sun was shining brightly down on him, causing him to feel happy. He was ditching Geography class right now. He hated Geography class. There were two people next to him, Shane and Blake. Two of his best friends, both of which were smoking cigarettes. Shane had been pressuring Danny to start smoking for months but Danny had said no every time. He had tried a cigarette once. He thought it tasted terrible.
The group watched as hundreds of cars passed by, all driven by people who had no idea what was about to happen. "Eyyy foo', we should take one of dem cars for ourselfs! Ya know what I'm sayin'?" Asked Blake.
"I'm afraid I don't." Stated Danny. Blake was not the most saintly of kids, but he had never suggested such a thing since Danny met him.
"I be meanin' dat I jus got my license and I be wanten' ta take one of em nice cars for a spin."
"How do you think your going to do that? We don't have a nice car."
Blake looked at Danny with a scornful look. You could have sworn Danny had just personally insulted Blake. "Obviously, we be needin' ta take one of em from one of dose stupid adults." Clarified Blake. "All we be needin' ta do is go up ta one of em and..."
Suddenly, Blakes thought was cut off by two cars in front of the trio slamming into each other and all the cars within visible range stopping dead in their tracks. "Holy!" Shouted Shane. "What was that?"
"Les go check dat shiz out!" Stated Blake excitedly. Danny walked up to the pair of cars, not caring about getting hit. He looked into the car window and saw that there wasn't any driver in the car. Danny looked around at the side of the road but he didn't see anybody who could have jumped out. "Yo what happened D?"
"There is no driver!" Yelled Danny. Blake ran over to Danny and looked into the car. He was rendered speechless when there was nobody in the car. Danny walked over to the car in front and looked in the window. There was no driver in the front seat just like the other car but there was somebody, or something in the back seat. "There's a baby in this car! I think he is still alive!" Called Danny to Shane.
"What, no way!" Blurted Shane. "We need to get him inside the school and call 9-11." Without any time to lose, Danny picked up his cell phone and called 9-11. But, there was no response. Isn't 9-11 supposed to answer with '9-11, what's your emergency?' or something.
"9-11 is not responding. Shane, Blake, help me get this door open." Stated Danny.
"No problem D!"Shouted the pair in unison. The three of them then proceeded to grab the door knob and pull as hard as they could. Eventually the door did rip open and Danny rushed over to the baby. He put his hand on the baby's chest.
"He's still breathing! Lets get this kid inside." With that, Danny picked up the baby, being very careful as not to drop the child. He began to run into the school, followed soon by Shane and then Blake. The trio eventually got to the school just as people began to flood out of the building. Danny dodged through the crowd and ran into the nurse's office but she was gone. "The nurse isn't here either!" Called Danny to the others.
"D, les go find a kid who knows CPR or something!" Began Blake. After saying that, Blake began shouting out the door of the nurse's office saying, "Ey! Can anybody 'ere elp with this kid?" Meanwhile, Danny kept a close eye on the child, making sure he was still breathing and didn't have any injuries.
((I don't know the exact layout of this school, but in my school it's almost impossible to leave without coming near the nurse's office. So i'll play it like that.))
Thinking further on the abrupt loss of the teachers Edward began to worry slightly causing him to want to find his parents, though all sense told him they were gone as well he felt he had to check, and with no phone he would have to do this the hard way. Looking around the hallway he found that most of the other students were attempting to leave, only a small amount stood around socializing, pushing himself into one of the many crowded stairs he journeyed downstairs.
Emerging from the crowded staircase he briskly walked towards the main exit, though he didn't have a car to ride in he wouldn't need one, approaching the main double doors that served as both exit and entrance he couldn't help but be drawn back to the nurse's office. Moving closer he could hear somebody shouting for help, more specifically help for a kid. Edward wanted to ignore them, to go check on his own family, but he couldn't fight it any longer he had to find out what was wrong. So he changed his path to the nurse's office increasing his walking pace slightly, coming close enough to the door he began to speak to the trio. “What’s wrong with him?” Edward asked, glancing at the kid himself he could tell he was still alive.
Soon enough, Blake's throat began to get tired from shouting so much. But, luckily enough, a man came up to the group. Danny saw the man standing in the door. The man asked what was wrong with the baby. Blake was the first to speak as he was standing at the door. "Yo' dis kid be in a car crash. He be like, ya know, still alive but das all we know man." Said Blake.
Danny looked at the man in the door once again and said, "Like my friend said, we found this baby in a car wreck. There was no driver in the car and the baby was the only one there. Do you know how to check what's wrong with him, he won't wake up and the nurse is nowhere to be found.
Edward was starting to panic slightly. Did i bite off more than i can chew? All I can do is run fast! I can make a run for the library though, grab some books, no time for secrets this kid could die! Edward thought of the library suddenly and began to speak up again. "Hold on, I'll get some books!" Edward shouted, but before he could start off in a super speed sprint a girl made herself known outside asking about the kid. Edward relaxed upon seeing her and wasted no time relaying information. "They said the kid was in a car crash. Do you know how to check on him?" Edward asked, he felt relieved someone else had shown up, perhaps he can keep his speed a secret a little longer.
((@Lauryman XD I didn't realize that I put man there. I should have said "Young man."))
Suddenly, a young woman came into the room and smiled a massive smile. She asked what the problem was and Blake said, "Dis baby here aint doin da best, ya know hat I'm sayin?" The moment the young woman came in , the young man asked if the girl knew how to check on the baby. "Come on man, das what I been standing out dere screamin' about, ya know what I'm sayin? Well den, do ya know know how ta save dis kid?" Said Blake.
"Concentrate Blake! we need to make sure this baby stays alive." Said Danny. The girl came over and stood by the baby. She told Danny things that he had already found out and let him know that she couldn't directly help. She did suggest a good idea of finding books somewhere in the nurse's office. "Alright, Shane, Blake, let's spread out and find a book."
"You got it D!" Said Shane.
"Yo D, why you care about dis baby?" Asked Blake.
"His mother is gone and without us he is going to die." Said Danny as he looked around for a book. He checked under the desk of the nurse and found a book on common conditions and diseases. "I found something!" He called.
One minute, Red's teacher had been sitting in his chair, tapping away at his MacBook; the next, he was gone. Red had been paying very little attention to the teacher, her focus instead shared by the writing walls as copying off the whiteboard, and a sheet of refill which she had been doodling absentmindedly on. Evidently this aptitude had been shared by the rest of the class, as it was almost twenty seconds before anyone realised anything was amiss. 'Where's the teacher?' A voice piped up, and eyes swung over to Mr. Fray's seat, his residence for two thirds of the day. 'Probably gone down the hall,' someone murmured, but nobody had seen or heard proof front door open, and that was the only exit from the class.
A boy got up from his desk and walked over to the aforementioned door, then opened it and poked his head out. 'All the kids are out in the hallways. Apparently their teachers have gone too,' he reported back, and this captured the curiosity of the rest of the class. Most of them, including Red, also left their desks and joined the throng of students in the crowded hallways.

[Arion] Time: 12:30 pm, November 10.
Arion walked down from the school's gates onto Golding Street, then turned down Sherman Ave. His house was only a couple of blocks away from school, though he didn't know whether he liked that or not. As he walked down the street, he could here dogs barking, babies crying and there were multiple cars with smoke pouring out of bonnets, from obvious signs of crashes. Arion was dumbfounded, he hadn't seen anything like this. Overcome with fear and worry, he started to pick up his pace, then ended up running down the road to his house. When he got to the door, he opened it using his key.
"Mom! (I'm Aussie but for the sake of the fact we're in America, I'll do this.) Dad! Where are you!"
His answer was a chorus of more dogs barking. He walked through the hallway, looking through each room as he walked past, and suddenly he had the thought that maybe all the adults disappeared, and not just the teachers. He ran into each room to double check, and when he finished he knew he was most likely right. His mom didn't work and his dad had a day off today. Then he realised it was only 12:30, so he left his house and locked the door. He hoped his parents were at Ralph's grocery or at the plaza, but in the back of his mind he wasn't too sure. He decided to check Ralph's first, then walk back to the plaza, since the plaza would be the most likely place the kids would go after their homes.
Appearance: Blake is very tall with dark brown skin, standing at 6' 2". Due to him having been an athlete, he has a powerful upper body and legs. He has a rounded head, dark brown eyes, and large, flattened ears. He tends to wear cargo pants and a tight, white t-shirt. Even on cold days, he never wears long clothes, preferring to stick to his usual style. He walks with elongated steps and usually has his hands in his pockets. He is slow to anger but once he is angry, he will remain that way for a long time. He also tends to be very apathetic about most things.
Personality: Blake is a very laid back individual. He finds being social very easy but he isn't the smartest individual. He tends to stick around with his closest friends. He has a silver tongue which he uses to speak in broken English brought on by years of hanging around the wrong crowd. He doesn't care much for authority nor the law and will try to defy adults at every turn.
Birthdate: September 13th
Starting Location: Outside the school, ditching class with his friends.
Power: Blake has the ability to turn his body into stainless steel at will. This makes him near indestructible and gives him the strength to lift large cars and rip trees out of the ground. Unfortunately, this steel form has a weakness. Very high and very low temperatures will cause major damage to his body, causing it to slow down or become more malleable at lower extremes. And causing his body to almost shatter or melt at higher extremes.
Backstory (At least 1 paragraph):
Blake was born to an incredibly poor family. For his entire life, he lived in nothing more than a small shack which could be taken away at any time by the bank. This caused him to develop a very thick skin (get it?) and also caused him to not have very much respect for authority. Despite all this, he used to be a very good kid. He used to keep his nose clean and would almost never get into trouble. This all inevitably changed, though. On a day much like any other, he met a young man at school.
This child's name went by the name Greg and he and Blake immediately hit it off upon meeting. They both shared the same disrespect for authority but, unlike Blake, Greg tended to act on it. Greg would perform pranks against his teachers and was able to get Blake to join him as well. The two of them became hated by their teachers and loved by their colleagues. Blake eventually adopted Greg's way of speaking after hanging out with him for so long. Greg would always call Blake by the name "Bro" and eventually the name stuck.
On Greg's 16th birthday, he became involved in a major crime. A few of his friends and himself planned a mild prank against one of their teachers. They placed garlic powder all over the inside of the teacher's desk so, when the teacher opened the desk, he would receive a face full of garlic powder. Unbeknownst to them, though, the teacher was deathly allergic to garlic and, when he opened his desk, he immediately went into anaphylactic shock. Unfortunately, the teacher could not get to his epipen in time and died right in front of the entire class. Greg was arrested and Blake was tried as an accomplice. He eventually proved that he had nothing to do with the crime but Greg was not as lucky. Greg was sent out of state to an institution for juvenile delinquents, leaving Blake totally alone. That was, until he met Danny and Shane.
The three of them instantly clicked and they brought about a whole new brand of mischief. Shane was always very submissive and Danny was always ignorant of what was happening around him. This allowed Blake to mold the two of them to the people that he thought that they needed to be. They all began to ditch class together and pull even bigger pranks on the adults, until one fateful day when the trio were standing next to the side of the road outside of the school.
Suggestions (Optional):
Other: If you have not figured out, this is the same Blake I have been playing as a NPC alongside Danny in the FAYZ in California.
The young woman asked what the book said. Danny looked down at the book and turned to the page marked concussions. He scanned the page for about 2 minutes until he found the information listed on symptoms. He read the excerpt out loud. "It says here, concussions are very difficult to diagnose due to the fact that the effects may not show immediately or may be very hard to detect. Symptoms include, headaches, temporary loss of consciousness, confusion, amnesia, dizziness, or ringing in the ears."
"Well....." Said Blake, "It's a baby, how we gonna know if his head hurts, he ain't know how to talk."
"Yeah," Replied Danny hesitantly, "Well, we know one thing, he is unconcious. I guess all we can do is wait for him to wake up."
"While yo be doin' that, I am gonna go check out what be happenin' around tha schoo." Said Blake. With that, Blake walked out the door to the nurse's office and saw a girl standing outside the office. "What choo want?" Asked Blake.
Back in the nurse's office, Danny walked over to the child, just as it woke up. It immediately began to cry and Danny said, "Shhhhh... it's ok, it's ok." in a futile attempt to calm the child down. Eventually, the child did calm down and it looked up to Danny. It giggled and Danny grinned a large grin. "I think he is ok. Only time will tell though."
Edward was surprised that the nurse's office held a book in it, thinking on it longer it began to make more sense. Nurse's are qualified to treat kids, but even they might need a reference every now and then. Edward smiled as the baby seemed to be relatively fine, as demonstrated by it's giggling. Turning towards the door he noticed what one of the other kids saw, another girl had made herself known in the office, apparently she thought they were doing something suspicious. "If you look closely you can see the baby. As for me I'm about to leave, everybody here seems fine." Edward turned his head to the baby again and smiled, even though he did absolutely nothing he relaxed knowing he wouldn't suffer a guilty conscious.
Moving outside he noticed most of the students have either left or just decided to lounge around, with everyone focused on someone or something else Edward took this chance to take off in his super speed, leaving a blur of colors behind him, and a rush of wind followed as he approached his higher speeds. I don't need to keep my powers a secret, heck I'd probably get some respect for them. But that's something else for later I need to check on my parents. Distracted by his thoughts Edward had been mindlessly running until he noticed a wall coming into view fast, correcting himself he started up again towards his house.
It seemed after a quick inspection of the various classrooms of the school, and overhearing snatches of other children's conversations, that the situation was not unique to Red's class- None of the other teachers were anywhere to be seen. This news worried her. She had read Lord Of The Flies; she knew it was a slippery slope to anarchy, without the guiding hand of the intelligent adults. 'Perhaps this has just happened to our teachers?' she muttered to herself. 'Better check my own house. Maybe mum still is there.' Then Red could hug her and tell her all about the strange occurrence that had happened that day, and they could find out what had happened to Red's teachers.
She picked up her bike from the bike shed, noting several others missing. Some had left torn bike locks behind, implying theft; or possibly passwords forgotten in the panic. She biked steadily down to her house in Ocean Boulevard, hoping against hope that her mother had somehow remained after the 'Big Poof.'

[FAYZ]
Time: 12:37 pm, November 10th
Unbeknownst to the children of the FAYZ, a little apartment in the apartment block next to the hardware store and day care, a stove was left running. Someone was holding a recipe written on paper while cooking over a gas stove. The paper caught on fire, and the paper fell on the floor, getting the carpet caught on fire. The fire isn't noticeable from outside, however, in about ten minutes the smoke will be too visible not to notice.
Most of the kids and teens of Perdido Beach have either gone down to their house or down to the plaza. The plaza was a place everyone was and most had assumed that others would go there so they went for some company and a little conversation.
[Arion]
Arion walked past the school, noticing most of the school's kids had either gone home or walked down to the plaza. Arion couldn't blame them, he knew the kids would want comfort with others. Arion hoped that everyone was wrong, and this was just a dream and his parents were at Ralph's or something, but dreams don't get this vivid. He turned at Brace Road and walked to Ralph's.
When he got there, he noticed there were a handful of kids and teens there already, hanging around in the snacks section, picking out chips and drinks. Arion scouted the area, and couldn't find his parents, or any other adult. He decided he would try the plaza, but he knew he would be out of luck. Something happened to the adults, he didn't know what, but he knew that everyone had to now fend for themselves.
[Blake]
All the eyes in the cafeteria were trained on Blake, either filled with fear, doubt or confusion. But Blake could see another pair of eyes, staring at him in anger. It was a 9th grade student, an athlete who he had seen a couple times around the boy's dorm. He looked it him now, and noticed his fists were balled. He jumped off his seat and used his power to push everyone aside so he could walk up to the boy.
"Is something troubling you?" Blake asked, with a smirk on in his face.
[Joshua]
Josh ran in and spotted the guy laughing among a large group of kids. A large window was broken and there was a kid sprawled on the ground outside. He heard the guy start exclaiming he owned the school now, and laughed some more. Josh balled his fists, ready to wipe the guy's smile off his face with one punch. Then the guy noticed him. He walked up to him, pushing everyone aside without touching him. This made him flinch in surprise, and he looked confused. He was asked a question, to which his reply was, "Did you chuck that lawn mower at me?"
He was no longer distracted, ready to punch him if the answer was yes. Everyone was watching, including a guy standing at the doorway to the cafeteria. He ignored them all, and focused on what the guy would say.
Edward zoomed down Sheridan Avenue, past the town plaza, and turned into Ocean Boulevard. Moving at what used to be impossible speeds, Edward was a blur to the rest of the world, wind rushed in his wake as he zoomed through the various streets ignoring the chaos. No time to stop, I have to check on my parents. Both Mom and Dad should be home today, if they aren't there. Edward abandoned that line of thinking as he closed in on his house. “No place like home right?” Edward muttered to himself as he fumbled with his house keys, hesitant to look inside. “Dad! Mom!” Edward shouted, hearing nothing but silence Edward decided to search the house for himself. Rushing into and out of the various rooms he sent papers and other small objects into the air, finding that the house was indeed empty he felt at a loss and simply stood still.
The adults are really gone, all of them. No! That’s impossible; I’ll go check out the plaza. That might be where any adult or someone like me would go. If there’s nobody there than that settles it. Making sure the door was locked before leaving, Edward ran off to the plaza looking for anything at this point. Retracing his path coming into Ocean Boulevard he veered into the plaza wiping some sweat off with his forearm. Positioning himself behind a building Edward walked out in a normal pace to observe the plaza. Looking around he could see multiple objects littered across the plaza, and various kids helping themselves with nobody stopping them. “So that settles it. All the adults are gone.” Edward sadly mumbled to himself.

Name: Kailen Solomon
Age:11
Appearance: Kailen is average height for his age, not too tall, not too short. He has medium length black hair, kinda like this. He has brown eyes that usually have bags under them, making him look tired, even when he isn't. He has pale skin, which has hardly any blemishes or scars, except a scar from a cut under his right eye. He has a skinny build, making him quite swift for his age. He usually wears clothes that are darker in color, such as grey and black. Although, on the day of the "big poof" he was wearing a cyan T-shirt with a grey hoodie over it, a pair of tan shorts, which come down to his knee, and grey converse shoes.
Personality: Kailen is a very optimistic person, but that doesn't stop him from not realizing the truth of a dire situation, when in a dire situation, he will often be very blunt and disregard others feelings. One of Kailen's most identifiable features, is his intelligence. His intelligence could be considered his power, seeing as he's extremely smart, having skipped three grades already, and it was highly likely that he was going to skip another next year. He's also very perceptive, being able to spot things others wouldn't be able to at a first glance.
Birthdate: April 17th
Starting Location : At home, faking a common cold. (Although he goes to Perdido beach school.)
Power:N/A, Although he is very skilled with ranged weapons. (Smaller firearms, bows, crossbows, etc. Also, is it possible for people to not show signs of powers until a little while after the "Big Poof"? If not I'll just keep him without powers, I might just keep him powerless either way.)
Backstory: Kailen's backstory might be rather short, considering not many notable things have happened in his life, but here it goes. Kailen was born in Perdido Beach, CA, to a man named Jacob Solomon, and a woman named Felicia Solomon. The two were doing rather well on the money side of things, so Kailen had a pretty happy life growing up and could get many of the things he wanted as a child.
By the time Kailen was six, the family had discovered his advanced intelligence, as he was doing way more advanced math than that of a kindergardener, such as multiplication and division the level of a third grader, so he skipped the first grade, moving on to second at the end of his kindergarden year. The second grade was also easy for Kailen, doing problems at a fourth and fifth grade level. Which caused him to skip the third grade too, moving on to fourth at the end of the year.
During his fourth grade year, Kailen had taken an interest in weapons, specifically ranged ones, which caused his dad to take him hunting, Kailen usually using bows to hunt with, though occasionally his father allowed him to use the hunting rifle. He continued to hone is skills with ranged weapons, considering he wasn't very muscular and probably wouldn't be in the future, so he might as well learn how to do something to protect himself. His father allowed him to go to a shooting range and fire handguns, which widened his variety if weapons to choose from.
From there nothing very interesting happened, Kailen went from fourth grade to fifth grade like any normal fourth grader. Excelling at the fifth grade curriculum, he was having to do sixth grade level curriculum. That being easy for him as well, it was decided that he would skip the sixth grade. And at the end of the fifth grade year, that's exactly what he did.
That pretty much brings us to this point in time in Kailen's life, him being at home faking sick during the "Big Poof", not knowing that all adults had disappeared.
Suggestions : Nah m8.

Edit: I'm not going to say what bar level you would be as you do not have any powers in which to speak of. On second thought, I guess 0 is a bar level.))

Age: 16
Other: I don't know much about FAYZ, yet California seems like an interesting setting.
Edit: I'm not going to say what bar level you would be as you do not have any powers in which to speak of. On second thought, I guess 0 is a bar level.))
