Blake stared at the young woman. She when she was told that there was a baby in the room, she seemed to become immediately stunned. Blake decided to pay it no mind. Finding out there was a baby in the nurse's office was strange to see, after all. Balke called to Danny, "Yo D? Let's ditch this here ghost town. I be headin' to the plaza, come with me." Danny soon came out the door, carrying the baby in his arms and was soon followed by Shane.
"Uh... I guess I will see you guys around. I need to check on my little sis back home." Said Shane.
"See you around Shane." Said Danny.
"Yeah, see ya." Said Blake.
With that, Danny, Blake, and Shane all left the school. They walked in silence until Shane parted half of the way through. "Well, this is where I get off," said Shane. Shane walked off and the two others continued walking. Eventually, they reached the plaza where there seemed to be an incredibly large amount of children of all ages but there were no adults.
"What do you think happened to all the adults?" Asked Danny.
"Dunno, but I say good riddance." Replied Blake cockily.

The apartment's carpet floor has now caught on fire, and smoke can be seen coming out of the apartment's window. If the fire isn't stopped in 10 minutes, it will surely spread to the other apartments, then to the hardware store and day care.
A baby lies sleeping in a cot in the apartment, not knowing about the smoke. No one knows that the baby is inside, and will surely die if not found soon.
[Arion]
Arion reached the plaza. He had expected most kids to be there, and he was right, there were at least 100 kids and teens hanging around. Arion looked around and noticed that out of every single person there were no adults. He checked the McDonalds, since it would have the most adults, but there wasn't a person inside. He then headed to the town hall, but he got stopped in his tracks. Most people were staring at the apartment block, and were pointing at a window. Smoke was rising out of the window. No one seemed to be doing anything about it, and just talked to each other as the apartment began to burn. He walked over, and looked at the kids. Why isn't anyone doing anything, he thought.

Kailen sat in his bed, waiting for his parents to bring him something to eat. Although. it would most likely be soup, considering he pretended to be sick today. Since while the "Big Poof" happened while he was in his room, he had no clue why his parents were taking so long, but he couldn't help but doze off. As he fell into a light sleep he began to fall into a dream. Although, he awoke almost as soon as he fell asleep, when he awoke his parents still weren't up there, had they left to the grocery store? Had someone invaded the house? Kailen didn't know, but there was only one way to find out.
Kailen changed out of his pajamas, and into normal clothes, pulling on a T-shirt, a grey hoodie, and a pair of tan shorts. Opening the door just a crack, he stepped out. "Mom? Dad?" He said as he began to walk down the stairs. When he got down there, he saw that his parents were in the middle of opening a can of soup before they "left", this made it unlikely that they went to the grocery store, but not impossible. Kailen didn't see any signs of a theft, no forced locks and it didn't look like there was anything stolen. So there were only two other possibilities, either they went to the grocery store, or were abducted by aliens, but Kailen didn't think about the second choice for more than five seconds, I mean, come on, that's just silly.
Knowing that the only thing he could believe was the fact that they went out somewhere, so Kailen went to look out the window, their car was still there, okay nothing to suspicious as that, if they were in a hurry for some reason they might have just left on-foot, or gotten a ride. But the thing Kailen did notice, was the fact that there were cars in the street, and none of them had drivers, some of them were even crashed! By this time Kailen had to investigate, so he ran to the garage, opened the door, and proceeded to walk outside. Grabbing his bike, he thought about the main place where people usually are, the plaza, which meant if he were gonna find other people, it would probably be there.
As he rode his bike to the plaza, he didn't see any people on his way, looking at the cars, all empty, every single one. He could only really see anything until he got closer to the plaza, he saw other children and teenagers making their way to the plaza too, when he got a little closer, he saw smoke, this prompted him to ride faster. When Kailen arrived, he arrived just in time to witness the large boy burst into the burning apartment building, which was only in one room for now, but was surely going to spread if nobody did anything. As he had only seen children and teenagers in the plaza, he had come to the realization that all adults were gone, this worried him a bit, but as the fire was right there, right then, that's what he was more concerned about.

[Arion]
Arion watched the large teenage boy run right into the burning building in awe. He had seen him around the school, but he didn't know his name. He'd probably seen Arion though, after other incidents like this at the school. Arion broke out of his thoughts and noticed no one helping the young man. He walked in front of everybody and raised his voice. "Hey! Hey, yeah you, kid! Why are you guys just standing there! There's a burning building behind me and it could very much spread and burn Perdido Beach! Now I'm sure you've come to realise the adults have disappeared, so there's no fire fighters. This leaves the job to us! I'm going to head in there and help the guy who ran in. I want four people, you, you, you and you, to go bring a hose from the fire station. You and you, grab a ladder, I'm sure there's one somewhere, try the hardware store. You, when the others come back, help them hook up the hose to that hydrant over there."
Arion grabbed his handkerchief and ran into the building, wetting the cloth in an apartment before going to the burning room.

Red had found Ocean Boulevard deserted; save for crashed cars and a few kids, checking their houses for siblings or parents. Unfortunately, her mother was too paranoid to risk leaving a spare key under the doormat, so Red had no way into her house. 'I'll have to shoulder the door open,' she muttered. 'Sorry mum,' she thought, running up and slamming her shoulder into the wood. Her light build bounced right off of the door, and all she gained was some bruises. After five minutes of seemingly pointless shoulder slamming, the door burst open and crashed into the inside wall with a loud noise. At least if anyone was in the house, they would definitely have heard her by now.
She wiped her feet on the mat as she walked in, out of habit, but she doubted that her mother would be there to tell her off. The house seemed unnaturally silent, and she stepped softly as she walked down the hallway. The kitchen was empty, but for the evidence of her mother's breakfast still left on the table- a half empty bottle of milk, some toast crusts, and a newspaper. She took the milk and poured herself a glass, drinking it all down in one go. She had a bad feeling that this was where her mother had poofed. Her final resting place.
Red sat down heavily in one of the kitchen chairs, as tears ran down her cheeks. It was hard not to think that her mother would be gone forever, and Red grieved over her disappearance. 'Come on Red, pull yourself together,' she said to herself, and she stood up, wiping the tears off of her cheeks. She dried off her face, and checked out her bedroom. It was exactly as she had left it, the duvet crumpled on her bed, and a messy floor. She took up her backpack and filled it with a few possessions- a favoured blanket, a water bottle, a couple changes of clothes.
She departed the house, heading in the direction of the plaza.
Edward stood around simply staring at the various kids looting and taking whatever they pleased. Slightly angered by their selfish and immature behavior, his fists tightened slightly. Edward had begun to walk away before he noticed a crowd gathering around an apartment building, from his angle he could clearly see a fire raging on inside a single apartment. Moving himself towards the crowd he noticed a few others push themselves through and break into the building. But a single person registered in Edwards memory, the last kid to enter Arion, another person from his class before the Big Poof. With all the adults gone somebody has to do this. If they don't know what they're doing they could get themselves killed! Pushing through the crowd even more Edward broke through the wall of kids and moved himself into the apartment.
Stepping into the apartment as well he slowly followed them up, making sure to keep himself at normal speeds. The smoke seemed to thicken as Edward rose in floors, noticing this the boy moved his shirt up to cover his mouth. Deciding that keeping himself hidden behind others in a flaming building was a poor choice he voiced his presence. "Keep moving, more help is bound to come!" Noticing a shiny red object in the leading person's hand Edward felt slightly silly, if they moved fast enough this many people wouldn't be needed and the fire would just be a problem of the past. But if anything happens they might need his help, or so he thinks.

As the boys ran through the building to the 3rd floor, a sudden sound of crying is heard. The baby has woken up and can't get out of it's cot, and will most likely suffocate from the smoke.
Outside the building, the kids have hooked up the fire hose to a hydrant and are spraying water at the window.
[Arion]
Arion followed the boy to the 3rd floor. He was holding a fire extinguisher, obviously to clear the fire. As he followed the boy, he stopped, he could hear something. Then he knew the sound; it was a baby crying, in the direction of the smoke. Arion strted running again, knowing they had to save the baby at all costs. He was forced onto his hands and knees, though, the smoke was rising from underneath the apartment door and was too thick to run through. Then he heard a voice behind him. He noticed the boy after a couple seconds. "Hey, Edward, come to help?"

Kailen stood outside of the building, wondering what in the world these guys were doing! Their plan was just to run in there? That's ridiculous! Regardless, Kailen's wanted to do something this cool since he was like 6! So he pulled his shirt over his mouth and nose, and ran in behind them, ditching his bike. Once he was in, he could tell the smoke would be getting thicker any minute now, so they had to make haste, he walked behind the boy who had just came in as quickly as he could, once he was in there there was no way that he was going back. Right now Kailen was being stupid, something he wasn't known for, but these people seemed interesting to him. Tunning into a burning building with almost no supplies was surely stupid, but it took guts.
"Uhm, guys, does anybody have anything that could put out the fire?" As he could not see, being smaller than all of the boys, and last in the "line" so to speak. He did not see the point of even being in here if they didn't have something to put out the fire, but if someone had something, this just might work. Hmm, wait that sound! That's a, a baby crying! He thought, there was a baby crying, probably suffocating in the smoke! Kailen knew that they had to rescue it.
Following Arion and the other teenager higher up the apartment Edward heard Arion call out to him as he fell to the floor, most likely due to the smoke. "Yeah it's me."Edward replied as he helped Arion off his knees, coughing loudly through his shirt he felt his eyes start to tear up. Still following the others up the stairwell Edward heard another voice, this time from behind. "Yeah the guy up front has a fire extinguisher." As Edward said this he couldn't help but feel that there were entirely to many people here. Moving further up, still behind several people, he began to hear a voice. More specifically a baby's voice.
The boy in the lead managed to break down the door and proceeded to unleash the fire extinguisher, he then ordered Arion to grab the baby. Seeing how he was in a better position to grab the baby he made sure to communicate it. "I got it, you guys just get out of here." Carefully entering the room, making sure Felix had room to hold the flames back, Edward reached for the baby and grabbed him. Gotta get him out quick, no telling what all this smoke is doing to him. Moving back to the stairs Edward began to speed down the stairs, stirring up the smoke in his wake, exiting the building at a normal pace he quickly called attention to his passenger. "There was a baby inside, someone check on him!"
Red arrived in the plaza soon after departing her house; it was not far between the two locations. The place was packed with hundreds of kids- two or three hundred by Red's estimate. The main point of focus was a smouldering apartment, enveloped in flickering flames that cast clouds of smoke upwards. Most of the kids seemed to be gawking at the inferno. A wall collapsed inwards, sending showers of sparks into the air and freeing flames that licked greedily at the newfound oxygen.
A collection of kids were attempting to fight the flames with a giant fire hose that was spurting gallons of water over the apartment; to what seemed like very little effect. As Red watched, the door flew open and a boy came out, smoke swirling out into the plaza in his wake. He held a baby within his arms, and called out.
'There was a baby inside, someone check on him!'
Red pushed her way through a few kids to get to him, who she could now recognize as Edward, although he was coated in a layer of ash and charcoal. She took the baby into her own arms, holding him gently.
'I know where I can find medical supplies, and I took a first aid course three months ago,' she assured him.

Suddenly, as Edward grabs the baby and runs, most of the floor falls to the 2nd floor, taking both Arion and Felix down with it. Kailen wasn't in the area of the damage, and is still up on the 3rd floor. However, most of the fire has been taken out by the water jets from the hoses. The 2nd floor apartment door is jammed and cannot be broken through.
[Arion]
Arion was about to grab the baby, but Edward decided to do it instead. As Edward ran out, most of the floor collapsed right beneath Arion. Arion coughed dust and ran to the window and opened it. He then shouted, "Spray through this window!" then ran to the door of the 2nd floor apartment and tried unlocking it. To his displeasure, the lock was stuck and the door seemed to be jammed. The only way out was above or the window. He ran to Felix and helped him up, then shouted out the window, "Bring out a ladder!"
Multiple kids seemed to run towards the hardware store almost instantly. He realised they were following his orders without hesitation. This made Arion a bit worried, as he was modest and didn't like having a lot of weight on his shoulders. He ran to the tap and twisted the knob, spraying water around the room by pressing his thumb at the bottom of the tap.

Blake and Danny stood in awe as the events in the burning building unfolded. First, people noticed it was burning, then a kid picked up a fire hose and began to put out the fires. Then, a group of children charged into the building to rescue what the pair thought was a child. It had been a very eventful 15 minutes to say the least. Danny held the child in his arms tightly. He knew that he would have to care for this baby for a long time to come or until he found somebody willing to take the baby. The baby began to suddenly cry and Danny tried in vain to calm it down. People began to turn their heads towards Danny as the child cried louder. "Shhhhh... it's ok... it's ok." Said Danny. The baby soon calmed down and Danny looked at Blake. "What do we do Bro?" Asked Danny.
"We be needin' to wait. Les take care of the peeps who come out of tha buildin'." Replied Blake. Suddenly, a young man came out from a ladder to the building. There were two other people on the ladder and Blake realized that they may not be able to make it down in time. Blake sprinted over to the ladder and reached out his arms. "Yo, I got choo! Jump on down here." Yelled Blake.

((Well I was waiting for a move from Edward or Kailen, but oh well))
[Arion]
Arion noticed the ladder being placed against the 2nd floor window. Arion started to climb out first, and the ladder started to wobble. Looking down he noticed no one was holding the base steady, and the ladder was extended. He started to panic and almost fell off, and heard a voice from bellow. He realised the guy wanted him to jump to him. "Uh, no thanks, you'll hurt yourself, just hold the ladder steady, please!" Arion said as his knuckles whitened as he gripped the ladder.
