Raphael woke up in a strange place. Yesterday, he had been wondering the streets, finding a meal, but now he was in some sort of room, that he vaguely remembered.
Then, he heard the voice of Sorin. "Hello, my student. You have big shoes to fill, I know, but today there is something special for you." He smirked, grabbing a paper out of his pocket, and handing it to young Sorin.
"I am not like you, sire. But this mission.....I don't mind a fake reputation. I don't mind being able to rule the world. I don't mind being respected." He smirked, before reading the note announcing the arrival of the Eldrazi. "And I have found a worthy foe. I accept."
Sorin smiled at this. "Good. Time for your walk."
Raph smiled, repeating his sire. "We both know it won't be a walk."
Raphael then dashed out of the room at extreme speeds, and ran to where the mission told him to go; the Azorius something. He ran until he got to the walkway to the place, and started walking normally. He wondered when the others he had been told of would show up. He smiled, and smelled the surrounding air, seeing if he could smell the fellow Planeswalkers.
((If you want me to edit my post because of Sorin, I can, if you wanted to control him. Anyway, you can control him in the future. Just wanted to get that part done and over with.))
A large pillar of flame suddenly appeared in front of Raphael, shooting far into the sky. When the flames died, Ignis was standing in the middle of the circular flame. His skin seemed to be cracking, before finally crumbling off into dust. The new layer of flesh was bright red. His eyes Appeared as though they were flowing, as if his irises were made of pure lava. A layer of smoke slowly rolled off his right side as he stepped out of the circle. "I always like making an entrance, and what better way than hell travel?" He said, his voice low and powerful. Anyone with little will power would probably at least be afraid of him.
Raphael jumps away from the flames for obvious reasons ((he is a ****ing vampire, doosh! )) and laughed. "I've always been interested in Rakdos. Shall I introduce myself, or do you already know me?" He grinned, his fangs baring. I know I ate yesterday....but I need more.
Joseph walked at a steady pace through the city towards the meeting destination. He did not know why he was being sent there, all he did know is that he had to go there. The young Planeswalker mostly ignored the people he passed by on his way to his destination, he had the air of someone that didn't want to be disturbed. However that did not last long as off in the distance a pillar of flame shot up to the sky. A frown crossed Joseph's face as he began to run towards the source of the flame, he was unsure of what had happened there but was sure it wasn't something good. He hoped that this disturbance would not be trouble, but his hopes were diminished by the more rational side to his personality, the side that said this wasn't good. Two people of interest rapidly came into view as Joseph had arrived at approximately where the pillar came from. He glanced around for an obvious source before turning to the people, "What caused that pillar of fire?" he asked in a stern tone.
Raph pointed at Ignus. "This fellow. Ignore his....arrogance. He is rakdos." He smiled at both, his fangs still very visible. "Although I think, personally, that Rakdos is full of the most bad a****."
((You could start by heading towards the Azorious Council for the important message, and then perhaps see the other characters or have your own sub-plot))
Joseph looked at the person as they spoke, fangs were clearly visible especially when he smiled. Joseph was unsure of what to make of that, he felt suspicious about this person. He watched him for a few moments after he finished speaking before turning to the other person, the one that the person with fangs claimed was in Rakdos. He mostly ignored whatever else the person said, he didn't pay much heed to their opinions, he found out what he wanted to know. That this other person was responsible for the pillar of flame. "Why did you create such a display?" he asked with a tone as stern as his expression. This other person did give Joseph a slight feeling of unease, he wasn't sure what exactly caused the feeling, perhaps it was the pillar of fire, but was certain of one thing. That it would be wise to watch out for those two people, the one with the fangs and the one in Rakdos.
Callum walked along the city for the meeting from the Azorious Council, he walked at a steady paste but quite nimble. He breathed quite intensely for he was meeting the council. So he tried to look tough and smart and continued walking.
"It's hell travel." Ignis started. "I'm half demon, my dad allows me to use his realm. It's a lot shorter of a walk in hell, and well, when one travels from hell to earth there tends to be some fire. And your skin peels off as well." He said, scratching a few flakes of skin off his face. "Why? Like the pyrotechnics? I can make more. Mine are so much better than that silly pillar.." He trailed off, thinking about the marvelous explosions he could cause. "And you, fanged one, arrogance is often thought of as wrong. But I believe when power can back it up, it is necessary. Such as in my case.." He said, smiling and admiring his own muscles.
((Okay, I understand what you mean when you said 'hard to get along with'.))
Raph smiled. "I am a student of Sorin's. I have always marveled at Rakdos. Such self confidence radiates from you....it is frightening." He proceeded to stare at Joseph. "Wait....are you human?" He blinked, then turned away. "Sorry. The hunger gets to me still. You know of a nearby meal, Ignis?"
Joseph stared at the half-demon for a few moments, as if trying to tell if he was lying or not. Eventually he resigned to the fact that he couldn't tell if they were lying. "Not particularly" he replied to the half-demon's question, it wasn't the pyrotechnics that he didn't like but the possible result of them. For example, burning half the city down. He turned to the fanged person when they asked him something, "Uhh, yes I am human." he replied, rather confused. However the confusion did not last when the fanged person said something about hunger. He started talking a step backward, considering if he should leave. He stared at the fanged person for a few moments, thinking of what he would do if attacked by this person. But then he remembered the reason he was here, "Would you two happen to be here for the Azorious Council?" he asked.
Ignis looked at the two. Obviously other Planeswalkers.. What could they need three of us for? He thought to himself. "I don't think the Azorious mages would be too keen on you eating people. Last time I killed someone I had my demon side tortured for three years." He said to Raph.
Joseph stood quietly as the others talked, feeling uneasy about the half-demon and the person talking about murder. He was glad that they decided not to kill him. The person with fangs mentioned that he wasn't sure why the Azorious mages wanted him there, this made Joseph wonder why they had been called here. It must be important, perhaps even disasterous. Pushing the thoughts out of his mind he decided that he didn't want to delay it any longer. He turned to the person with fangs and cleared his throat, "One way of finding out why we are here is to go to the council and see what they have to say" he said with a touch of impatience, "My name is Joseph by the way." He turned to the building that housed the council and began striding towards it. After a few steps he turned to see if the others were following him. Although he didn't know much about these people, and was a little scared of them, they were called here for a reason and he wanted to find out what that reason was.
He smiled at Joseph. "Watch your impatience. I would love to become a sire." He chuckles. "I am kidding with you. Let's go." Raph runs, extremely fast to the door clearly several miles away, sighs, then runs back. "Used to going to meetings with other vampires. I'll walk slow."
((Just curious, why isn't Nicol Balas not on the list of Planewalkers?))
