John
Nate was now becoming more worried at the fact that John was nowhere to be found. They had agreed to meet up here and to be back before the sun set over the green-brown sky. The storms of The Divide were quite well known, and people knew to not be caught in them. The mutants were also another problem, but Nate knew that John could handle those. However, he still didn't want him to be out there at night...
The sky grew darker as Roux set up a camp fire off on a ridge overlooking a valley. Laying out a dusty sleeping bag he had found hours ago, he started the fire. As he laid with his head propped up on his bag, Roux watched the fire dance, the embers looming higher and higher as the night continued on. The fire popped and crackled, spitting the embers through the night. The last thing Roux remembered was the smell of burning wood and pure bliss.
Unknown
Roux woke, coughing. As he grew accustomed to the bright lights, he saw a group of people watching him; waiting for him to awaken.
"Ah, so he lives. I've been waiting for this moment for a very long, long time."
