This is the fourth world war. The third ended fifty years ago, and this one started eight years ago. You and about two hundred other soldiers live in an underground bunker near the Rocky Mountains. The heat of the war is currently three hundred miles away, taking over the US. You don't have much time to prepare, as it heads your way.
The bunker has dorms for everyone, a weaponry, storage rooms, and a kitchen. Above ground there is a farm, and plenty of animals to hunt.
Weapons include very precise guns, and tanks. There used to be bomber planes, but the war has already taken up too many resources, and now there are no more of the planes. Makeshift weapons can be made.
For food, there's tools for hunting and farming.

Also it wouldn't hurt to explain why many of these countries abruptly fell besides not being able to support themselves. America is a fairly strong country with a stable economic system. Why did it fall? Was there a second depression? Did another country invade the U.S.? These things should be explained so as to give realism to the role-play. Other than that, everything else looks fine.

After about ten years of independence a lot of smaller and less controlled countries began to fall apart because their economies were falling apart. The political separation from other countries mostly caused that because of trade, but a lot of people disagreed with this act and began to rebel. After the rebel group in Columbia was able to overthrow their government, several other countries followed their example. Within forty years over 60% of the world's countries had fallen to this lack of economy and control. The United States and other large and successful countries began falling apart at this time because more and more people began to disagree with the independence. The United States had a civil war and fell apart afterwards. In the last years before the fourth world war, the other larger countries began preparing for war. A few small groups from each major country in the war split off and made their way to the Rockies Base. This is Unit R200, the main base that will be in this RP.
