In this RP, you can take any character from anywhere and become them. You could have Ganondorf, you could have Cloud, you could have Professor Oak, Anyone! But here's the catch: This game is where people fight. To the death. Well, not really to the death. You'd 'respawn' in a lobby once you die.
--Setting--
In this, there is a somewhat-annual tournament that takes place in a small realm in which all fiction comes together. The 'Tournament' so to speak, will consist of 8 entries (Or 16, if i feel generous.), and 2 at a time are randomly selected to battle. Those 2 battle, and the winner advances to the next round, whilst the loser, well, loses. The area in which they battle is around 600 square Yards (About 20x30 yards).
--Rules--
The winner of the tournament is prevented from entering the next year, (But can enter 2 years from then) however, anyone who loses may re-enter the next year. There are no rules about the fighting itself. Anything goes once you're inside the ring!
That's all i have so far, and if enough people like it, i'll make an OOC post where people can apply.
The thing about an RP like this is, who is going to admit they lose? If I play someone like Lelouch who has mind control abilities, I can order people to die. If Someone plays a character like Magneto, they could rip the blood out of people's bodies.I guess that's the main problem with roleplays where roleplayers are forced to fight one another. Nobody wants to admit they lose.
Then you have characters like the Chosen Undead from Dark Souls, dying is a normal thing for him so, what classifies as him losing? Suicide is a tactic by the Chosen Undead to learn about his opponent, by taking that away you're making him an irrelevant character. I guess that could be limited by the rules.
It may also help if you were to put interest check in the topic name.
Interest check is the tag, silver. Also, i see what your saying. I think i could put in restrictions on what people can do when they sign up. And about the part where people dont want to lose, i can see that too. I could put in time restraints, and declare the winner based on who did better. Thanks for pointing that out!
