An 80's text adventure, dungeons and dragons, and telephone all combined with a forum game remix.

The way it works is that you post what you do after the events of the post above you. Additionally, you can leave decisions for the person below you, like "Do you take the door on the right, or the door on the left?" Posts are chronological, but you should be able to pick up the story by just reading the latest post. The game is set in a medieval fantasy world.
The Above poster chooses to take the door on the right.
You say that it leads to a room with a suspicious chest in it.
You decide to open it.
The next poster will write what what you do/what happens after you open the chest.
You: I heal the wizard and grab the loot
Guy below you: I go farther into the cave and kill the dragon with a rubber chicken
Get it?
This is just a fun little game, so it does not have very many rules and mechanics. It uses USD $ as a currency. You can buy and sell things. I'll leave the rest up to you guys
-No "Godmodding", or breaking the game by doing extremely overpowered things.
-Keep violence PG-13
-No profanity
-Try to keep people from having to read a bunch of posts to figure out what's going on.
I wouldn't exactly define this as a roleplay because of the "above poster" mechanic.
Alright, here's my post:
Since I'm starting, I'll define the character and setting.
You are a male character with a wooden sword and no money. You are in a town with a merchant, a bar that has plenty of rumors and stuff, and one guard. (law enforcement) The bar is also hiring. To the north is a threatening cave, to the south a dungeon, to the east a road leading to a larger town, to the west a road leading to, well, I don't know.

I go to the bar and work to receive 40$
When I enter, I see 3 passage ways.
Do you choose the left, right, or middle?
Hoo, hah, hee, hey, hoo.
Then I decide to meander over the dungeon.
There are 2 rooms to enter: A room with a mossy entrance leading to some sort of hole, or a flooded room with a chest in the middle.
