THE PROPHECY SEEMED FAR AWAY
BUT FINALLY WE'VE REACHED THE DAY
GIVE UP THE PAST, EMBRACE THE STRANGE
EVERYTHING YOU CARE ABOUT WILL CHANGE
Long story short, Twin's dead and we're in Scratch's mansion. You can't summon anything here, so be careful. /NULL
Oh, we can summon things, just not entities...
I attempt to help open the red chest, then further explore the SECOND FLOOR.
Y'know, I generally prefer to use machines over magic, being a pretty serious weapons engie {No, really, this guy is GOOD, it takes him a while to make the things, but they WORK.}, and this "Psio-Naetheric" power is... highly unfamiliar to me. Time to experiment further. {After some time} Well, say what you like, it sure is a pyromaniac's dream... H3re, le7 me sh0w you som3 th1ng5...
{This side quest, being a sort of text-based adventure, is kinda hard with updates so infrequent... I fully understand that your time is limited, Twin/Scratch, but still.}
Hmm. Was it just a coincidence that I entered the coordinates of the Black Monolith site? Hmm....
Maybe if I determine what my current coordinates are, I can get myself out of here!
I attempt to hit F5 (or whatever the button that displays coordinates is). If it works, I enter the coordinates, first trying universe A, then B.
The WEAPONIZED DRAMA fires all throughout the room. Its plot-advancing rays somehow strike the VIEWFINDER, causing it to zoom in on the expansive crater. It is focused on its center; you can see it extremely clearly now.
If you didn't know any better, you might say you were fondly regarding something...
Almost the miracle of a new beginning.
You press F3. Your co-ordinates are displayed:
X: 58
Y: 13
Z: 609
You enter the CO-ORDINATES, then UNIVERSE A.
The view abruptly switches to a view of a dark-gray planet floating in an endless expanse. There are two moons orbiting it; one green, one pink. The view is familiar. It is the view you saw when you boldy went where no Minecrafter had gone before.
The view zooms in on the green moon, hurtling through whole cities and buildings, until it zooms in onto the MANOR you are currently at home in.
The zoom ceases at you, staring into the VIEWFINDER itself.
I walk over to the Balcony, and scan the area for anything the other players might have missed.
Spells Casted: 37/200
You examine the BALCONY.
The BALCONY is a sizable area with guardrails at the edge. There is a table with a chair on either side and a fully assembled chessboard on the table. The sides appear to be green and red rather than white and black. Leonstar0 is on the floor, having sustained injuries.
Looking forwards, you can see a green cityscape. Looking up, what appears to be two moons.
>ENTER GALLERY
>EXAMINE ROOM
>CHARGE BOW IN CASE OF ENEMY
You head through the WEST DOOR and enter the GALLERY.
The GALLERY is a long hallway with a luxurious carpet painted in twelve shades of muted color, going from dark red to a magenta. Two torches mark the DOOR you just went through, and at the other end of the hall, there are two more torches. Contrasting the green torches behind you, those are red.
The most interesting feature of the room is the multitude of various paintings lining both walls. They appear to be representing various subjects, such as landscapes, portraits, and depictions of fierce battles.
There are several unfinished paintings on canvases in the middle of the room. A figure can be seen working on one at the end of the room.
I turn on the T.V. and go try to open the red chest.
Hey! Someone help me open this!
The Earth-Splitter: 6/10 (because why not)
You use the REMOTE CONTROL to turn on the FLATSCREEN TV. Instantly, a news show pops up.
--no one can figure out exactly what is going on, and what has been going on in the past year. In what has been colloquially referred to, for those who don't know, as the Operation, millions of computers have been infected with a virus that locks them onto a computer game known as Minecraft.
Of course, several religious fanatics saw this as proof that video gaming was the work of some demons, and politicans saw the outbreak as proof that our digital defense systems are not strong enough to stop these outbreaks.
Barack Obama, when asked to give a statement last month, said this, "Now, as President, it will be my, uh, duty to help the people who have lost electronic devices that are important in their homes to this. Uh, Rest assured, I have the FBI and Armed Forces out to apprehend whoever has done this. And I have organized a small army to try and counterhack this, uh, thing.
"And for those who say we were not prepared, let me say to you that this is something hundreds of years ahead of its time. No computer, no piece of software, uh, has been known to do this. Ever. Now, hopefully we can reverse-engineer what this person has used to do this, and, uh... Well, we'll just see what happens after th--"
The TV shuts off. It appears you can only view it for a limited amount of time.
I look around the Living room, if that's the room I'm in. If not, I look around wherever I am.
Although the LIBRARY was very fancy, the LIVING ROOM is even more so. It is built for relaxing and lounging, and will no doubt make a great hub area for your continuing escapades.
There are five doors in the area.
The one on the east wall has a sign that reads, "HALLWAY."
The one on the west wall has a sign that reads, "GALLERY."
The one on the south wall does not have a sign.
The one on the north wall does not have a sign either.
(For reference, you came in through the south wall.)
The most striking thing about Floor Two is that its FINAL DOOR appears to be right here, in the LIVING ROOM. It also has a counter in the middle of it, but although there are two players, it is at 0/4. You then notice four slots on the door that were made for holding things. Interesting...
There are several drawers throughout the room, with lamps on top of each. There is a ceiling fan that is whirring quite nicley, providing a breeze. There are two chests on the floor. One appears ready to open. The other does not.
There is a flatscreen TV on the wall with a remote control.
There is also a mirror on said wall.
Finally, there is yet another bookshelf with several interesting objects.
After inspecting the Balcony, I walk to the Closet and inspect it throughoutly.
Spells Casted: 37/200
You are now in the CLOSET. Here you can see a single lit ceiling light, and there are several brooms on the floor of the closet. Even more books lie in here as well.
As far as you can tell, there are no visible doors in the Closet.
Hey, wait a second! Was there 10 diamonds in there? I take them, and put down my crafting table. I make a diamond chest plate and put it on. Much better!
Ire: Walk up to north door and kick down.
Ire: Examine.
ACHIEVEMENT GET ~ Here's Johnny Kick down a door.
You are now in the HALLWAY.
Yet another HALLWAY that is similar to the one on the FIRST FLOOR.
At the edge of the HALLWAY, you can see four creatures that are guarding a CHEST and also appear to be harrassing someone. Could it be that there are others in this MANOR with you besides your fellow men?

You are accosted by NEGA-NIMBLEGUY, VIRUS OF ERRORS.
I crack my fingers, realizing I have accomplished nothing so far, and will continue to not be having accomplished anything if I were to continue accomplishing not anything. I check the ground to see how the machine is attached. Bolts would be okay, but if it was attached by a cord...hmm...well...yeah I still have no idea what it does, but it seems to have some relation to the Black Monolith. It can't be a coincidence that I entered the exact coordinates of the spot it was. Hmm...well, whatever is connecting it to the floor (unless it's a cord) I break.

...sorry, I couldn't think of a good joke.
Also, I attempt to direct the Weaponized drama mentioned in my last post at the bolts (if there's a cord, the safe (WHICH I STILL HAVENT READ THE MESSAGE ON, WHICH I DO.))
...yes, this post isn't not confusing.
You actually have done several important things.
You attempt to find something attaching the MAGIC CUEBALL VIEWFINDER™ to the floor, but to your dismay cannot find anything. The only logical explanation would be that it is magic, but we all know what magic is. So, the other only logical explanation would be that its architecture simply holds itself in place through sheer willpower.
My apologies. You read the message on the ORANGE SAFE.

Rest assured, I did not have to use a search engine.
I'm terribly sorry. Most of the things I did last turn got deleted because I edited something else, so I had to finish up quickly. I missed some things as a result.
Your opposite mulls it over, and then gives an answer. "I fight because we are opposites. There is only enough room for one of us. If we both mixed, it would be like two volatile objects touching, exploding all at once. I must remove you, or vice versa."
I place the record on the phonograph and fix said phonograph
I then place the remaining items of my inventory in the group stockpile
Finally, i punch myself in the face until i die
You apply the PIECES to the PHONOGRAPH, fixing it.
You then use the PHONOGRAPH and RECORD in conjunction, making the device ready for use. It does not produce any sound, however. You should have specified that.
You place the PILE OF ITEMS found from the CLOSET in the GROUP INVENTORY.
You deal 20 damage to yourself. You die.
ACHIEVEMENT GET ~ Another One Gone Lose all your HP.
Where you died, a GRAY CHEST appears at the spot. This chest contains all of your base items. If you do not get back to it in three turns, it will disappear. Furthermore, all your posts this turn will be ignored, and you must use up a post next turn saying you respawn.

"You missed. See you!"
I immediately grab Pionoplayer and Piono, flash-step up to the second floor, and immediately find a convenient toilet to empty my pants into.
"Scratch, if nega-me is anything like he seems, I advise you to turn damageable environments off should you value this place intact."
You find that your flash-stepping powers conveniently cannot extend to the FIRST or SECOND FLOORS anymore.
You GILIGAN CUT to empty space, where NEGA-ENGIE fires all 100 or so of his rockets into nothingness.

You resign yourself to your fate. You enter STRIFE.
Ohai, Nega Secret Scribe... umad? ... No, really, are you hostile, I'd rather avoid a fight, if I can. Hello? Are you gonna say anything? I assume control, then examine the LIVING ROOM before searching it for items, carefully watching the NSS in case it becomes mad.

Hmm...yes, Scratch is OP, but he isn't Black Monolith OP. I doubt that that machine controls where the Monolith spawns. ...unless it just creates an explosion where I entered the coordinates...but really, that's too OP too...hmm...well, as of right now, it doesn't seem to have a(e?)ffected anything on the site, but it has a direct relation to the Monolith......................
...ugh. This doesn't make sense. Besides, 3 universes? 3? ...wait. Minecraft, Alternia.......hmm...yup, there is definately something I don't know. Something major. Maybe it says the end/void/nether are a different dimension? But then, that begs the question as to why there are only 3 universes on the panel.
So...Monolith, when located, can grant the wish of pretty much any entity, provided they can get around the defences. The defences, along with (likely) the Monolith, are pretty much gone, likely to repair itself in the void (I have a copy of the book, too, you know). It located the previous site of the Monolith. Not the Monolith itself. Thus, there are several possibilities:
1. Something at the site is connected to this machine. I could use that (somehow) to escape!
2. I just 'happened' to mash the coordinates of the site. Not likely, AT ALL, but still a possibility.
3. Entering the coordinates created the previous site of the Monolith. However, since the Monolith existed before I interacted wih the machine, it is doubtful at most.
4. Scratch has somehow gained enough power to control the Monolith. No way, but still, that seems like the kind of thing that would happen in this game.
5. Universe C has it's own, seperate Monolith (implying either A or B is another Minecraft world while the other is the Alternian universe), which allows 3. to occur.
_____
While I believe it has to do with 1, this is Destroy the Godmodder. Need I say more?
...YES. YES I DO. I AM BORED AND HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN OVERANALYZE VIRTUALLY NO INFO.
Now, it could be possible that the button mashing simply activated the machine, which would be programmed directly to that site, but that brings up some startling questions: how does Scratch know where the Monolith is!? What does he plan to do with it? What caused it to detonate like that? Was it my mashing of buttons? I seriously doubt it.
So, I need to ask myself; I found a strange, white machine in a forge, which is in Doc Scratch's house. Scratch was attempting to summon his master, who is already here, so barring various time shenanigans, he has a different motive. He killed Twinbuilder to become the new DM...but why? Does he simply want to screw us all over, or does he have a large overarching plan involving the Monolith? It's in the void right now, likely not due to my interference, but what happened to it? Did Scratch send a group to go capture it? Did the Godmodder have a part in it? Where is he? Do I have any idea what's going on? Is the only reason I got sent to the Black Monolith site because it is somehow plot relevant and making me enter the exact coordinates would save a lot of time?
At this point, I now believe the device is simply used for viewing events occurring at (relatively) the same time as you around the multiverse, and that the Black Monolith's previous site appeared simply to speed up the rate I was making the plot progress in my area. Hooray for overanalyzation!
So...yeah. Irregardless of this, I copy down the coordinates I mashed in last turn (Black Monolith site), then begin investigating what the machine considers the other universe (either A or B, as I know one of them is Alternian (likely) and C is Minecraft).
Also, I shout up through the hole, "ANYONE GOT WI-FI!!?? I NEED THE PASSWORD!!!"
Wootwoot! I think I got it! Suck it, SCRATCH!!!
While I may have got it, there are still a few things left to figure out, but I'm sure it won't be as ridiculously overcomplicated as this post was.
Umm...I'm not sure this is the proper place to say it, but yeah, PLEASE hit the green up arrow thingie.
Well... I will try to answer your overcomplicated post to the best of my ability.
1. The VIEWFINDER does not control where the MONOLITH spawns, and it does not create an EXPLOSION where you designate co-ordinates. At least, not that I am aware of. Its goal is to view any location in one of three universes.
2. The END, VOID, and NETHER are three completely different universes. The first and last ones, though, would fall under UC, MINECRAFT. The VOID is another story, but it does not appear to be UB.
3. You are correct that the MONOLITH's purpose is to do just that. However, its defenses have been depleted in this very act, before your arrival. It is now stationed in the VOID with 1,000,000 HP.
4. Sadly, the most likely possibility is that you somehow managed to mash those buttons correctly. However, just because it is the most likely scenario does not mean it is the real one.
5. Entering the co-ordinates did not create MONOLITHIUM.
6. I cannot control the MONOLITH. It is its own sentient being. It is not within my rights to preform such a sacrilegious act.
7. There is only one MONOLITH; no duplicates. It exists wherever it wants to exist. Right now it appears to favor UC, a tradition it has held for a long time.
8. My "large, overarching plan" is my colleague's "large, overarching plan". He was the one who informed me of how to preform this Invasion, a task that took centuries to fulfill. However, I did succeed in bringing my master to the universes I travel to, so my primary goal is completed, and so my new goal is this: to completely take over this universe for my colleague.
9. I did not send a party to capture the MONOLITH. Again, it's in the VOID because of the players' machinations.
10. Your last point is correct.
You copy down "X=-413000/Y=78/Z=1025". It has been revealed that UA is Alternia.
I move up to the living room and take the DaVinci Bot with me, switching it from its passive Medic Mode to the aggressive Sentry Mode. I then smash my Forgecrusher into the Nega-Secret_Scribe.

Just as usual, so it seems.
You cannot advance to the SECOND FLOOR while you're in the BASEMENT.
You enter THE PIT.
I understand. Do try to bear with me under these strenuous conditions, though.
Thanks for the info. I guess I shall help you out- later. Now, I lean against the wall and look at ManiacMasteR. I then begin to file my fingernails.
The FIRST FLOOR has been nearly evacuated, with only a couple of players wandering its halls.
The majority of the players, in the SECOND FLOOR, all ponder its multitude of secrets. Those who are versed in the art of VALVe wonder what items will be found in the devilish Crates. And those who paid attention to the broadcast the TV emitted wonder further exactly what influence GodCraft has had on the outside world...
The few players who have traveled into the LIVING ROOM'S doors see that there will be troubles ahead... They will have to organize teams.
Meanwhile, in the BASEMENT, those who wander the NEGATIVE PLANE have accosted our heroes. With their sinister brand of void magics and opposite alchemies, they will have a hard time fending them off... Case in point.
NEGA-AEGIS kills Aegis-A095. He blinks out of existence; his Gray Chest at his final spot. NEGA-PIONO and NEGA-PIONOPLAYER use their combined might to kill pionoplayer; his Gray Chest similarly appearing. NEGA-ENGIE_NINJA deals 7 damage to engie_ninja, and DARK ENGIE rests as his OVERDRIVE meter fills. NEGA-NIMBLEGUY kills Nimbleguy.
All the while, Dimentiosome remains oblivious to his friends' endangerment and examines the VIEWFINDER at great lengths... What secrets does it hide? What exactly is its purpose? These are all things to question; things to ponder.
~~~
MEANWHILE... A god wanders his server, looking for those he seeks to kill. He runs to the bodies of the dead Game Masters. He wonders how this Invasion is going so off-course... It was supposed to be a joint effort. He curses Scratch for stealing his prey... He looks up at the sky, filled with red harbingers of doom. The entities are in no shape to fight, consoling themselves over their respective losses.
They only now realize the futility of war.
The Godmodder leaps up, on top of a Crockercorp vessel. He scans the stars. He wonders if what he's doing is all for naught.
He wonders if he's destined to be the god of an empty kingdom.
Thanks for the info. I guess I shall help you out- later. Now, I lean against the wall and look at ManiacMasteR. I then begin to file my fingernails.
You empty the contents of the GREEN CHEST.
You take the NOTE and the BEGGAR'S BAZOOKA. Everything else goes in the GROUP INVENTORY.
You read the NOTE.
~~~
You advance to the LIVING ROOM.
There are no visible doors here.
You charge your BOW to 80% as a precaution.
You try to open the RED CHEST. 1/4.
You look at the MIRROR. You feel a sharp pain.
You are accosted by NEGA-FSEFTR, TERTIARY MIME.
You break the MIRROR afterwards.
Game saved.
You help in opening the RED CHEST. 2/4.
You cannot go to another room and help open the CHEST at the same time.
You are now in the CLOSET. Here you can see a single lit ceiling light, and there are several brooms on the floor of the closet. Even more books lie in here as well.
As far as you can tell, there are no visible doors in the Closet.
You take the 10 DIAMONDS from the GREEN CHEST.
You create and equip a DIAMOND CHESTPLATE.
ACHIEVEMENT GET ~ Here's Johnny
Kick down a door.
There is another door at the end of the HALLWAY.
There are two DISPENSERS next to you.
You gaze into the thousands of MIRROR SHARDS littered on the floor.
You are accosted by NEGA-NIMBLEGUY, VIRUS OF ERRORS.
9,000 damage to NEGA-AEGIS.
IFBEGRCHJA ~ BASE(64 / 2) = WIN
Rest assured, I did not have to use a search engine.
I'm terribly sorry. Most of the things I did last turn got deleted because I edited something else, so I had to finish up quickly. I missed some things as a result.
Your opposite mulls it over, and then gives an answer. "I fight because we are opposites. There is only enough room for one of us. If we both mixed, it would be like two volatile objects touching, exploding all at once. I must remove you, or vice versa."
You UBERCHARGE pionoplayer and UBERHEAL yourself.
> AEGIS-A095: BATTLE TECHNIQUE - DISPROPORTIONATE RETRIBUTION
A shield of pure dark energy is summoned around you; the air crackling as your defensive manuever takes hold. The OPPOSITES look around startlingly.
You give rouge the PHONOGRAPH PIECES.
You die.
ACHIEVEMENT GET ~ Another One Gone
Lose all your HP.
Where you died, a GRAY CHEST appears at the spot. This chest contains all of your base items. If you do not get back to it in three turns, it will disappear. Furthermore, all your posts this turn will be ignored, and you must use up a post next turn saying you respawn.
You examine the COINS: 4 dimes, 1 quarter, and 3 pennies. That adds up to $.68 in American money.
You walk over to the DAVINCI BOT, healing yourself for +4 HP.
You cannot pick up the SUITCASE. It is apparently very heavy.
You find that your flash-stepping powers conveniently cannot extend to the FIRST or SECOND FLOORS anymore.
You GILIGAN CUT to empty space, where NEGA-ENGIE fires all 100 or so of his rockets into nothingness.
TT2000 INVENTORY:
+1 Remote Control
+1 Empty Green Chest
+612 Mirror Shards
+1 Mirror Frame
+1 Large Bookshelf
No, he didn't. His goal was to kill himself, and that's what he got. I honored that; as the Game Master, I let it go through.
Sorry. You are fully healed to compensate.
You resign yourself to your fate. You enter STRIFE.
The CAMERA is gobbled up by a LAVA BEAST.
You cannot head up to the SECOND FLOOR while you're in the BASEMENT.
Although the LIBRARY was very fancy, the LIVING ROOM is even more so. It is built for relaxing and lounging, and will no doubt make a great hub area for your continuing escapades.

You advance with your BOT.
3,000 damage.
DEMONICDAVINCI INVENTORY:
+7 Vase Shards
You help out. 3/4.
There isn't much of a fight to watch.
You enter the SOUTH DOOR.
You are now in THE PIT.
A KITCHEN KNIFE is no good for cutting wood. You'd need a SAW or something around as sharp as that.
In the world of DTG, superstitions can have lots of power, and facts can be rendered moot in an instant.
6,000 damage to NEGA-AEGIS.
The PDA is fully charged.
PDA MENU:
SERIOUS BUSINESS <
PESTERCHUM 6.0
FIREFOX
SOLITAIRE
INTERNET - CONNECTED .o0
You take a SHOTGUN and PISTOL.
5,000 damage to NEGA-ENGIE.
You open up a DISPENSER and loot its contents.
IRECREEPER INVENTTORY:
+9 Fire Charges
+30 Arrows
+3 Splash Potions of Healing
Please try to actually pay attention to the new game set in place.
You advance.
You advance.
The polarity-shifting properties of MIRRORS only work for those on the POSITIVE PLANE of EXISTENCE. Those on the NEGATIVE PLANE are unaffected.
You enter THE PIT.
Just as usual, so it seems.
You cannot advance to the SECOND FLOOR while you're in the BASEMENT.
You open the RED CHEST.
RED CHEST CONTENTS:
1 Unnamed Book
10 Captchalogue Cards
5 Mann Co. Crates
5 Mann Co. Keys
3 Name Tags
3 Description Tags
1 Note
You enter THE PIT.
I understand. Do try to bear with me under these strenuous conditions, though.
You take the contents of the RED CHEST and put them in the GROUP INVENTORY. That's a bit fairer, don't you think?
~~~
MEANWHILE... A god wanders his server, looking for those he seeks to kill. He runs to the bodies of the dead Game Masters. He wonders how this Invasion is going so off-course... It was supposed to be a joint effort. He curses Scratch for stealing his prey... He looks up at the sky, filled with red harbingers of doom. The entities are in no shape to fight, consoling themselves over their respective losses.
They only now realize the futility of war.
The Godmodder leaps up, on top of a Crockercorp vessel. He scans the stars. He wonders if what he's doing is all for naught.
He wonders if he's destined to be the god of an empty kingdom.
