I got pushed into a portal that led to an alternate universe by a witch , where cat-human hybrids....(or whatever the heck you are)..... replace humans. I started running and freaking out, until.........SLAM!
It was a dark and stormy night, I'd been travelling through the wilderness for days with little food and no shelter. A bolt of lightning illuminated a crevice that I thought would be a good place to spend the night. When I entered the cave I discovered a pile of treasure emanating a warm enticing glow. I curled up next to what I thought was a pile of rocks and went to sleep. You hatched while I slept.
I was flying into the sky out of a dense forest with my rocket boots, then you flew into my face, knocking us both out of the sky, and onto the ground.
Did you carry me here, or something, because that would be the only explanation that would make sense. I remember that I went to sleep under a tree and now I'm at your house.

I was playing Okami and the characters came to life and I got hit by objects flying off the screen and blacked out. When I wake up, I go, "I've only played Okami once in my life. How'd this happen?"
You probably got tired, or something and for some reason you just started to sleep next to me. That would be only thing that would make any sense, because I have been on this place all day long.
