Welcome to Adventure Log!
You are a young, wealthy, beloved, famous shoe maker, and today is a very special day! Today is the day that you start on your quest to become the most famous adventurer in the world! It can't be all that hard, right?
Check title of book. Put on glasses. Examine the room to tell the voices in your head every detail of your room. Then check your inventory, if you have one.

You have a very nice room. A table and a bed are nearby. There are also some drawers containing clothes, food, fine tomes of adventure, and other essentials. In your inventory is one shoe sword, and about 16 marks. Stairs lead down, a door leads outside, and a window looks out in the same direction.
Oh, this? This is your adventure log! You can record all your amazing escapades in here. It was really expensive, and you had to save up for months to get it!
Looking at the book, you realize you haven't written your name down on it yet! Every great adventurer has to have his name written down, otherwise nobody would know who he was if he were slain in battle! (Of course, that will never happen to you!)
What should you write down?
Go outside and look for the nearest magical University! You wish to study Transmogrification Magic! (The magic to change the form of an object, person, or animal, into objects. You can't change an object/person/animal into a different person or animal.)

You shove two shoes together to make the closest thing to a sword possible.
You kind of question the effectiveness of two shoes shoved into each other
