Well, can you survive being set on fire and being charred?

After the torrential downpour of fire from the heavons, the little pegasis filly dragged herself from pile of ashes. She was scarred and had most of her mane charred black. Everything hurt and she was unable to fly. Looking around her at the ruins of her once beutiful home she cried, realizing she was the only pony to survive.

It was a random idea that popped into my head when you asked me if i could survive being burnt.
