You ready your dagger and prepare to head downstairs. As you climb down the stairs, you see smashed bowls and dishes. The table is knocked over and there is blood and gore splashed throughout the room. A dead creature lies smoldering in a dying fireplace, and another one lies severed by an axe. Are these those goblins you've heard so much about? Then your eyes fall on Karima, lying in the center of the room. She is soaked with blood, covered in slashes and wounds. You nearly scream in terror. You run over to her, seeing if she is alive. She is, but barely. She is quickly bleeding out. You can't save her; you have no medical experience, and the men with the torches seemed to have left. You are now faced with a difficult choice. Do you wish to leave her to die, or put her out of her misery with your dagger?
