All of my nebulas have matured. I now have a total of 5 cave nebulas. I will probably stalk the cave for more until I get a male alt...
I'm not going to de-sig any of them until I get new eggs. I'll probably snag something common because I plan to test the 'eggs will no longer die from sickness due to views alone' thing I read on the wiki. I hope it isn't true, IMO it would make dragcave too easy.
I decided to smash my face into my keyboard a few times and use whatever the result was as a dragon name. I almost want to start an entire lineage based around the fact that the dragons' names are all keyboard facesmashing.

Today, everything's green. - - Tomorrow, is the doom.
It seems to be true that eggs no longer die of sickness due to views. At least not anywhere near as quickly. I haven't lost one that way in quite a while, but it really does look like it will never happen again. I pulled a mint off the cave 5 hours ago and immediately sigged it, it has since received almost 3000 views and is still alive. I am going to keep it exposed until it either dies or matures. Brand new eggs used to die at about 500 views.

That's good for me. I'm still going to hide them at softshell, though.
Lol the mint is 12 hours in and has 5700 views and a gaping hole in it. Still not dead though...
Edit - it appears they can die. The mint has perished. It had the second most views of any dragon I own, and was only about 13 hours old.
But this experiment was a success, we now know the limits of reason. Even newly spawned eggs can accumulate thousands of views before being in any real danger. On that note, I bet it would take an absolute force of nature to kill a hatchling with views, since a first day egg can now take more views than a late hatchling could.

If you just got them, there's no need to worry. They'll easily survive a day of maintenence, and thats if downtime even counts for dragons, which I doubt.

Is it anti-rules to simply post here because I'm looking for views? I mean, I'm new, started today, so I'm just getting used to what's allowed and what's not. Haha :3
Anyhow, besides that- since I'm new, are there any major pieces of advice that I should heed?

Because potatoes have never been something so valued to mankind.

There probably isn't a rule against that, though be sure to hide them when you can't watch over them.

Both of those eggs have softshell. I suggest hiding them.
Naw you just got crap random rolls. You'll get a female soon.
If not consult your local admin.
They disappear automatically after awhile.
Two more of my eggs hatched. Both males. So, that means my male to female ratio of dragons is 8:1

Also, sorry for the long dormancy period. I'm a modder now, as it is. But my absence is almost directly attibuted to schoolwork.
