The wreck is of an average-sized helicopter, seemingly for civilian use. On the side are several decals, all in a language foreign to you.
There is a small fire in the cabin behind the cockpit, providing you with a bit of warmth and light. Inside this cabin are several seats, and a safe. The safe is locked, and much too heavy to carry for any extended period of time.
Inside the cockpit is Peter Cummings' corpse, your seat, and the controls and gauges you assume would be used to fly the helicopter. Beneath the control panel is too dark for you to clearly make out.
Off in the distance, you hear some form of engine starting, followed by heavy "wingbeats", probably a helicopter or other rotorcraft.
A helicopter lifts up into the air from a distance, it's searchlight pointed almost directly below it. It rotates away from you, and flies off into the snowless night.
The wallet is a simple leather wallet, with an insignia of an eagle standing atop an apple embossed on the front. You've already examined the contents.
You cannot remember anything about why you are here, or even who you are. You can still remember how to speak your native language, basic motor skills, and other such "simple" things.
The sun is shining brightly enough so that you can easily see the various branches and brush scattered around the area.
You leave the headset plugged into the helicopter.
After collecting a few branches and twigs, you notice a small scrap of paper on the ground (d20 = 13, +0 PER). You feel as if your senses are more acute (+1 PER).
You use this piece of paper to draw a map of what is immediately visible.
Your current location is marked with a blue dot, points of interest with a red dot.

dude what
It is now completely silent.
> Search the crash more throughly, then run before it detonates.
You head out back in the direction you were previously running, just in case the wreck should prove explosive.
Waiting until daytime may aid in your search, however in this flat landscape it will make hiding significantly more difficult.
A long wire dangles from the right earpiece. It's coiled, like a spring, with a long pin-like connection at the end.
With your rudimentary knowledge of helicopters, you are unable to find an area to plug in the headset (d20=7 +0 PER, +0 INT).
The corpse is also wearing a similar headset, maybe it's plugged in?
You slip off your own headset, and put on your newly acquired one. Static blares through the earpiece.
Once again, you speak into the headset, and once again, there's no indication to success or failure.
The sky is getting progressively brighter, with the source of light being to the front of the helicopter.
